My future daughter in law came here, and they were very kind and professional. They were also very patient. We had a very nice time, and I went back for a mother's dress. I'm very obese so I figured that none would fit me. They found me the perfect dress, and made me feel beautiful. When your morbidly obese it is scary. I didn't think I would look like the wedding party at all, but I'm going to look gorgeous. The ladies here are everything you can ask for and more! Come here for that small town intimate touch!

Went to look for my dress for my sons wedding with a vision on what I wanted. My sales gal was very helpful, knowledgeable and made it an enjoyable time. Plus helped me find the perfect dress!!!

I am not by any means a girly girl. I do not like dress shopping and i feel extremely uncomfortable in dresses. However, brides and weddings made me feel right at home. Very professional, welcoming, and made this anxious bride excited for dress shopping 10/10 recommend!

Working with the crew at Brides & Weddings is an amazing experience. My family has continued to use them for prom dresses and wedding dresses throughout the years because of the quality of dresses and service they provide. They will involve your whole group and start with letting the bride and her group select dresses that match her style and desired look for the ceremony. They work by appointments to ensure that each bride has dedicated time and attention to find the perfect dress for the big day. The staff will offer slight adjustments that can be made to truly make a one of a kind gown and create exactly what the bride is hoping for.

Great dress selection and everyone was so nice!

I went to B&W on a very tight schedule (5 weeks) and an even tighter budget. I was never treated like I was less than as I had experienced at other salons. I expected to only have a few options but really I had beautiful selection of dresses to choose from. My stylist was mindful of my budget and time frame and remained honest regarding what dresses fit within those. In the end I found a beautiful dress that I was able to take home under my budget! Thank you Brides and Weddings!

I had went to B&W when i was in high school for a prom dress, and then i was in three different weddings since then and all the bridesmaid dresses were purchased here, and the experience for those dresses that when I got engaged, I knew right away that was the only place I was going to go. they were great and let you look at what they have and mark different ones you want to try on. they were very patient and helpful with trying on all the dresses. I was unsure and put the one I bought back on and they could tell I had found the one. I bought my head piece here as well. all 4 of my bridesmaids got their dresses there and had a great selection for them. all four were the same color but a different style of dress. I was a little bummed that they don't have in house alterations anymore, however they recommend someone else unless you have someone you already know. love this place and the employees. recommend B&W to anyone that is in need of their services.

Had the best experience with Brides and Weddings! After an unsuccessful trip to a big city filled with bustling bridal shops and overwhelming staff members pressuring me to make a decision, B&W was a breath of fresh air. They made a few recommendations based on what I told them I was looking for, and then gave me space to look around while still making sure I knew they were there if I needed them. I never once felt pressured or stressed, and was able to find my dream gown almost immediately! Their selection and price range was pleasantly surprising, and I almost wish I could shop with them again! ;)

They were very patient with me when I came to try on dresses. I am very indecisive and they did not push me towards one dress or another and kept giving me options. Only complaint is not having an in-house tailor. I had to find my own.

Brides and Weddings is hands down the best! I cannot rave about them enough. Jill and her crew go above and beyond to make sure all needs and expectations are met. Not only did I purchase my wedding dress with them, but we also went to them for the bridesmaid dresses and suits for the groomsmen. I would recommend Brides and Weddings any day of the week!

My dress from here is absolutely stunning and I got it for a great price. They were very responsive over email and Jill was a fantastic help in the store, supportive and listened. I would highly recommend making the trip, the selection and service are worth it!

This place is AMAZING! I have gotten a prom dress, bridesmaid dress, and now my beautiful wedding dress from here. The staff is wonderful! I scheduled my appointment a month ahead of time and when I showed up, they ask you what you like, don't like, and budget. Then they let you go around and pick some gowns. It was so much fun! The gal who helped me, Michaela, was absolutely wonderful! She was nothing short of amazing, complimentary, and oh so friendly! She was so excited when I found my dress, and I gave her many hugs by the time we had left. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone thinking about going here. You will have a great experience and hopefully find your dream dress!

They are wonderful! The alterations were a little pricey but my dress had a lot of layers. The store has so many different styles and sizes to try on. They make you feel beautiful! They are just very nice people!

I had a fantastic experience at Brides & Weddings! The owner, Jill, is fantastic! She is so sweet, attentive, and caring. My dress happened to be discontinued the day before I stopped in to look around, but I bought it off their sale rack. It was a few sizes too big and too short so I had major alterations that needed to be done. They turned out amazing. The seamstress had about 30 hours of work into my alterations! I could not be happier with my experience here!

Everyone in the shop was so nice and friendly. I could tell they really wanted to help me find exactly what I was looking for. I was told by several people to try this shop and I am extremely glad I did. This is a GREAT place :)

They are so nice and helpful. They make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, much better than the larger stores in Des Moines. I found the same dress at a shop in Des Moines, sample was in terrible condition compared to Brides & Weddings and was $300 more - for the same dress!

This place is wonderful! There are so many beautiful dresses. My bridesmaids dresses were purchased here as well. The staff is the best! Everytime i went in there i felt like i was the most important customer. They even have late hours to accomadate.

I absolutely adore the owners of this store! They and their staff are wonderful! I felt so invited each time I walked in and just had an overall great experience! They were awesome with the bridal party as well! Made the process so easy and fun!

I live in Des Moines, IA, where there are many bridal shops - but none of them had 'my' dress. So I ended up stopping in the tiny town of Manchester, IA, and my dream dress was there! The girls who work there are wonderful - very nice and helpful, go above and beyond to help you. They also kept my dress for as long as I needed them to - so I didn't have to worry about storing it in my house and trying to keep hidden from my fiance. I picked it up the day before my wedding - it was so convenient!

Jill, Jamie, and staff were wonderful. I was not even going to try on strapless and a strapless gown in what I ended up getting. It was the very first one I tried on. I tried on many others all more expensive, and fell in love with the very first one I tried, which was the one Jill brought out for me. It was also the most inexpensive one I tried. The bridal shop is a great atmosphere. They also have great choices for accessories. These girls really know what they are doing. They are beautiful, modern, and fashionable. They helped make me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world on my day. Also got my bridesmaid dresses, and tuxes here. Loved the tuxes as well! The guys looked so handsome.

I bought my wedding dress and 4 bridesmaid dresses from Brides and Weddings and their customer service is absolutely WONDERFUL! They were very easy to work with and always accommodating. The bridesmaids dresses took almost 5 months to get in after we ordered, so make sure and allow plenty of time. But overall, I was VERY pleased with their pricing and services.

I am so happy I found my dress at Brides and Weddings. It was a little bit of a drive, but so worth it. They did everything they could to work with my schedule for fittings. They also made me feel special each and every time I was in the shop. Whether I had an appointment or not. Definitely a great place!!

I thought the customer service was the BEST out of all of the DSM and Eastern Iowa bridal stores I visited. The only downside was their hours - but it worked out fine :) Loved the owners and the seamstress. Dress fit like a glove!

The girls out at Brides & Weddings were great to work with. I have a tough time making decisions and when it comes to the bridal gown - it's one of the biggest decisions. The girls were very helpful and very patient with me. We also ordered all of our tuxedos, mothers of the bride dresses and bridesmaids dresses from here.

My mom and I went dress shopping. Since I had purchased prom dresses at this store and had good experiences, we figured we would try them for my wedding dress. We were not disappointed at all. Wonderful experience with wonderful service!!

Brides & Weddings was the best bridal shop that I went to while looking for my wedding dress. They helped me find the dress that was just for me. Everyone was so helpful and willing to do anything for me.

Brides & Weddings is an amazing store! It is so big, bright, and clean. They have a huge selection of dresses for everyone! Everyone that works that is so friendly and helpful! I got my Maggie Sottero Priscilla dress from there and they did my alterations as well! The dress fit perfectly! I also got my shoes from there! Would recommend this store to anyone!
