ome to our North County home at 1:00 to do the makeup for the rehearsal, allowing 2 1/2 hours, we had to be at the church at 3:30. At 12:45 my daughter received an email from Brady stating that she was uncomfortable approaching our home and was going to have to cancel both that day’s appointment and the following day’s (her wedding day) appointment. She offered no alternative, just canceled. My daughter emailed her back within 2 minutes to which she got no response. She tried to call her immediately as well and got no answer. By now she is in tears and scrambling to figure out what to do, with now only 2 hours until rehearsal. My other daughter also tried to call her and also got no answer. Finally, her sister did receive a call back an hour after the original email. At this point they were already at Ulta buying makeup and preparing to do the makeup themselves. The person who called said he was Brady’s husband and suggested meeting a a hotel, by this point there was no time, plus the other vendors (hair and videographer) were coming to our home for the wedding, we couldn’t change at this point even if we wanted to. If Brady didn’t want to come to our house that’s certainly her choice, but the way she canceled was inexcusable and unprofessional. To have her husband finally respond an entire hour later after repeatedly attempting to contact her is ridiculous. She never has responded to my daughter (the bride) either by email or phone, only her husband replied to the brides sister. If someone would have told me that a professional could do this I would not have believed it. If you live in North County I would think twice before hiring this vendor.

Also, she was such a lifesaver when another hair/makeup artist bailed on me with only 3 weeks until my wedding day. I asked my photographer and florist if they had any recommendations and Brady was the first person they both said. Brady was so understanding and was able to accommodate me for a trial within the week. She was a wonderful, calming personality and is such a gentle soul. It was truly as though the fates divined to have Brady step in to be there with me.

y. She did my engagement hair/makeup, a wedding hair trial, and then my hair and makeup for the big day along with hair/makeup for some of my bridesmaids and family members. By the time the wedding day arrived, it felt like I was being dolled up by a friend. We laughed and cried together (I was particularly emotional on the wedding day) while Brady took the extra time to make sure I loved how my hair and makeup turned out, even if I was emotional. My two tips to any brides-to-be are to 1) do a trial so that you are completely comfortable and confident in how you’ll look on your big day and 2) take pictures of your hair/makeup trial and show them again to your stylist on your wedding day so they can refer to them, easily again seeing exactly what you liked about your trial or want changed. That way, they’ll be refreshed on the style you loved even if they’ve had a ton of clients in between your trial appointment and wedding day. Overall, Brady is not only extremely talented at what she does, she is very kind, personable, and you’ll want to have her on your team as you get ready for the best day of your life. She gave me a little regimen to follow and figured out the source of the acne. She is very fun to be around so it was nice having her there the morning of the wedding. All my bridesmaids loved their makeup which was great. My makeup looked flawless and stayed on all day despite the humid, muggy weather in STL in August.
