At Brides by Kelly, we specialize in creating custom-tailored hair and makeup looks that bring your wedding vision to life. From soft glam to timeless elegance, our highly skilled team is here to make you and your bridal party look and feel your absolute best.
We travel on-site to your getting-ready location anywhere in the greater Chicagoland area, surrounding suburbs, Rockford, Lake Geneva (WI), and parts of Indiana. Trial appointments are hosted on select Sundays in our rental space in Bloomingdale, IL. (we can sometimes accommodate alternate dates on a case by case scenario.)
Whether you’re booking services just for yourself or for a group of 16–20, we’ve got you covered. Our team is small, intimate, and personally vetted by Kelly herself—so you’ll know exactly who your artists are before your big day. We’re fun, bubbly, professional, and know how to match the energy of any bridal party.
From first inquiry to final touch-up, Kelly is your main point of contact—responding to every email in a timely manner, handling all bookings, and making sure your experience is seamless, personal, and stress-free. We only book one wedding per team per day, so you’re always our priority during your set timeline.
Minimums apply for peak season, but we also offer an exclusive bride-only package for more intimate wedding days.

Hi, I’m Kelly – the artist behind Brides by Kelly! I specialize in timeless, elegant bridal hair and makeup that lets you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself. My goal is to create looks you’ll still love when you look back at your wedding photos 10 years from now. I work with a small, handpicked team of talented artists who share my passion for bridal beauty. When you book with Brides by Kelly, you’re not just hiring a random beauty team—you’re getting a personalized, boutique experience with artists who genuinely care about bringing your vision to life. We travel onsite for weddings, with trials held at our salon in Bloomingdale, Illinois. I’m a wife of 17 years, an IVF mama, a proud cat mom, and I’ve been in the bridal beauty industry since 2004. When I’m not glamming up brides, you’ll probably find me wine tasting or spending time with my best girlfriends.

Our group was about 9 people. Kelly had Gina come to do the makeup. At the preview day, Gina followed my request of neutral makeup. Once I looked at it, I told her I didn’t want to see my skin, and I want to see my eyelashes from a mile away. She looked at me and said ‘Girl, you mean you want full Glam!’ I’m glad she understood what I wanted, even though I didn’t know myself. I looked amazing on the day, and the makeup made my eyes POP. I’ve had my makeup done by pros in the past, and they were never able to match me well. I usually looked worse. I was in heaven with Gina, I never expected to look that good! It was not good for my ego! She also wore pearls in her hair that day, and brought extras with. She knew I was a boujee bride. I of course told her I loved it and would’ve loved that, TG she came prepared with extras for me!
The way Kelly and Gina understood me, and came prepared the day of for who I am, was amazing. They exceeded every expectation I had. I’m so thankful that they were my team!!!!

I did a hair trial with Ryan and makeup with Natalia. Both of them knocked it out of the park, and I felt a huge weight lift from my shoulders, and booked them right away. Hair and makeup was not something I had expected to be stressful, but Kelly, Ryan and Natalia wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, Ryan and Natalia were AMAZING. They were right on time, were fun and chatty with my mom and my bridesmaids and of course, their work was beautiful. All my girls loved their hair and makeup. Some girls knew what they wanted for hair, some girls let Ryan do her thing, but all of them turned out absolutely gorgeous. Natalia has such a knack for enhancing people’s natural beauty, and paying attention to their skin and preferences instead of just painting a face on. My hair and makeup turned out even better than the trials (and both girls made changes based on a few notes I gave them) and they both held up all night even after dancing the night away! I would absolutely recommend them. They did a beautiful job, and I’m so appreciative!
