My experience at Brides by Young in Rochelle Park was wonderful. From the moment I stepped into the salon, I knew I was in good hands. The selection of wedding dresses was impressive, and the stylist was incredibly attentive, helping me find the perfect dress that matched my vision. When I found "the one," it felt like it was made just for me. Farzaneh did a phenomenal job on my alterations and even gave me her phone number in case I needed to contact her, as I lived over 200 miles away from the boutique. The staff at Brides by Young were not only professional but also warm and supportive. If you're a plus-sized bride-to-be, I highly recommend Brides by Young. They'll go above and beyond to ensure you find a dress that makes you feel stunning on your big day.

Plus-Size Brides look no further! This store is absolutely everything you could dream of when looking for a wedding gown. There are so many options to choose from, which is refreshing for plus-size women who normally don't have a lot of options. I felt so welcome and comfortable at the store and didn't feel self-conscious at all while working with my consultant. They were so gracious in allowing my bridesmaids and mom to bring in champagne while I tried on dresses and really involved them in the process. My first time there I didn't think I would find my gown but I did. However, my mother in law wasn't present for this as she came in the day after to go shopping some more. The store graciously allowed me to come back the next day and show my future mother in law different dresses so she could too share in the experience with me. I was so grateful for this. I had such an amazing experience with this store and highly recommend it to anyone.

My girls and I had a fabulous time with sales manager Jessica! She was absolutely wonderful! I was happy to make the sale with her and say yes to my dress! She was attentive, personable and found multiple styles that complimented me, to ultimately include my “yes dress!”

Absolutely incredible service beginning to end! I did not love my alterations there, would have gone elsewhere. The boning in my dress was messed up and my dress was sewn under the armpit incorrectly so it ripped.

Great store. Great salespeople. Great dresses. It was so nice to go in and see so many options for fuller figured girls. I just hate stores that relegate you to a “plus size” section and maybe have a couple of options that you may or may not like. My daughter found a dress that looks gorgeous on her and fits beautifully. She was so happy.

Considering I am a plus size woman, the process of finding my wedding gown was initially something I was most nervous about. As soon as I walked into the bridal shop, all worries subsided. They listened to what I wanted, and found the most perfect dress for me. The whole process of alterations and dress fittings were just as seamless. Plus sized brides, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Laura was absolutely amazing to work with!! She had me feeling so snatched and confident every step!! I’ve been waiting for the “bridal moment” where I’m just 100% certain that this is it with tears and all and she definitely helped me get there with all the questions and direction she provided! I didn't end up getting my dress here due to my very sad budget but I will say, out of all 5 places I went looking for a dress this place was the BEST experience I had the whole time looking. Madison was the sweetest and nicest person, and they all made me feel so beautiful! I ran her ragged, looking for sleeves and additions for the dress I was looking at, and her smile never wavered! They were so helpful and understanding and nice. If you're looking for your Klinefeld experience in Indiana, this is your place. Especially if you're a bigger girl. I went to Brides by Young December 2022 to find the dress for our September 2023 wedding. I had such a hard time picking a dress and the staff was so helpful! I had a great time and got a dress that was perfect for my day.

As a plus size bride, I had many concerns as I was considering my experience finding my dress. Trust me…I worried about EVERYTHING. However, as I entered the store all my insecurities, fears, and worries began to settle. Laura (my stylist) took the time to get to know me personally. She listened to what I hoped for in a dress: the feeling and the look. All the dresses she pulled had some element of what I wanted in my dress. She saved the best for last! I said yes to my dress and I am so excited to walk down the aisle feeling beautiful and confident. Not to mention, I can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction when those doors open!

Holy cow! I have never felt so welcomed in a clothing store before! I went in so nervous that I really just wanted to run away but the ladies here are AMAZING!!

This was the most welcoming environment that any plus size bride could ask for. All of the employees were so friendly and kind. Laura was my consultant and she was excellent. All I can say is this place is amazing for all plus size brides. From the moment I walked in I was treated as an actual bride and person. Our consultant asked questions to get to a feeling of what I wanted and I felt heard. I wanted floral and elegant dresses. She listened when I told her what I was comfortable with. She pulled 7 dresses for me to try all meeting my expectations and they were ALL beautiful dresses I felt beautiful in all of them. The conservations we had were genuine and it was like I was talking with a friend. When Kate had me try on my dress it was one she had pulled that I was not quite sure about as it was fitted. She told me to trust her and oh my gosh was she right. I went in with a certain style in mind but ended up finding my dream dress in a style that was unexpected I could not recommend this place more. I am so happy I said yes to my dress and when they tell you that you just know when it's your dress they are right. I ugly cried so hard

I was very nervous about trying on dresses. Being a plus size girl it's hard finding things that look good you and that makes you feel beautiful. I was worried they wouldn't have anything I was looking for. I sat down with Desiree and told her everything I wanted and didn't. I was amazed how she heard what I said and didn't say. Kate was my associate. I tried on about 20 dresses before I got to her. I never felt that bridal moment until I came to Kate. She was super attentive and LISTENED to me. Baylee was amazing and I had such a great experience! I found a dress that was so ME not just finding a dress in a normal salon that was pretty and flattering on my body type. I had the absolute best experience with Brides by Young and highly recommend for any plus-size bride! I felt very nervous going into my appointment that I wouldn't find anything that fit me, wouldn't feel beautiful in any dresses, or would feel judged for my size. I quickly learned that would not be my experience at Brides By Young. My appointment started with a quick Q&A around my dress preferences, as well as how I envision my day. They also inquired about my budget, and I appreciate their discretion in pulling me away from my guests when they asked me this. After the Q&A, they pulled me several dresses as a starting place. They took me into a spacious try-on area and helped me into one of their specialty bras. After that, they helped me into each dress and made me feel super comfortable throughout the process. They did a phenomenal job clipping the dress to reflect what it will look like when its actually my size. They also did a phenomenal job helping me see the full vision, including straps that I was adding onto the dress, my veil, etc. I dress shopped in early June of 2022 and my dress was in by late November of 2022. My residence is in California, but my wedding is in Indiana (as is my family) and they were super accommodating to my schedule-- including trying to get my dress in to try on when I'm here for the holidays, as well as giving me some extra time to pick it up after it arrived so I didn't need to plan a separate trip. At the dress pickup-- I was BEAMING. Everything turned out perfectly. I felt beautiful and the associates further enforced that with their kindness, as well. I never felt like I was working with a "salesman" or that they were trying to up-sell me, which I really appreciated. All throughout the process, I mostly communicated with Kate for appointments, etc. and she was an absolute delight. She was so friendly and helpful and had a way of making me feel like I had known her for years. This anxious bride truly appreciated how comfortable she and the other associates made me! They unfortunately do not do alterations in-house, but they provided a recommendation nearby and gave me information as to what to expect in terms of timing, etc., as well as recommendations as to some areas I may want to alter. Overall-- I could not have asked for a better place to choose the most important dress I'll ever wear. So appreciative that despite my size, I had a place to find a dress and shop that made me feel beautiful and WORTHY of such a gorgeous dress.

They helped me find the special dress, it also felt really nice knowing that they had dresses for me as I am slightly bigger than regular sizes but not really considered plus either. They are all very friendly and really do listen to what you want and only pull dresses that are in the realm. I highly recommend them!

Plus size brides run here immediately! From making my appointment to leaving, this has been one of the most AMAZING experiences of my life! I’m a size 28-30 and I was so nervous about being able to fit anything, I was fully prepared to not try on anything and just look at the gowns. A complete shock when Emily pulled 7-8 dresses for me… then I was never expecting to actually find my dress this soon. The first dress was perfect! But baby that second dress made me cry! I didn’t want to take it off. We tried on 3 more dresses( all drop dead gorgeous) but baby that second dress is my dress, nothing compared to that feeling at all. Plus size brides this store is a must use! Everyone was amazing to work with. I told them my vision and they pulled some dresses for me, all of which were great. I love that they do sizing to your measurements so very little tailoring was needed.

Going in to look for dresses, I was beyond nervous thinking I wouldn’t find anything I liked. The Women who helped with trying on dresses and picked out the dresses not only picked out the dress my sister wanted me to try on, but listened to what everyone with me said would look best. The dress I said yes to, I kept putting it off to be my third dress to try on. When I put it on, everyone in the building stopped and looked at me. And just were at a loss of words. This place was a true blessing when it came to dress shopping. No reason to be stressed at all lol

My consultant Haley was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome. She listened to what I said I wanted and knocked it out of the ballpark with her choices. I found the most beautiful dress that looks perfect on my body. Emmaline was my main stylist with help from Kate. I traveled all the way from South Carolina and found my dress!
