Very limited selection unless you’re a size 4…. I know it’s a resale and they only get limited inventory but really? Maybe a total of 10 dresses above a size 16. And the prices are laughable for already altered and used dresses. And just in case you wanted help getting into a dress, this is not the place for you. Will help bring them to the room but you have to dress yourself so bring a friend. Never seen so many dresses with self tanner still smudged on the inside. I gave it a two cause the girls were nice.

Absolutely amazing bridal shop with beautiful gowns and an even more amazing mission. I am so glad I purchased my gown here - it was absolutely beautiful and I received so many compliments. I would recommend ALL brides get their dresses here and support the cause!

I came here 2 months before my May 2021 wedding since I could no longer fit into the dress I had bought for my eventually-postponed 2020 wedding. The ladies here are so kind, positive, and helpful! I was adamant I didn't want a deep V neckline but they convinced me, not in a pushy way at all, to try one on since they thought I'd like good in one. My jaw was to the floor when I loved a BHLDN gown that had the deepest neckline I've ever worn! The ladies also helped me with accessories and gave me the confidence I needed during my dress shopping. Although I didn't get that specific BHLDN dress, I had another appointment with the Seattle BFAC salon right after where I did end up purchasing a BHLDN gown - a dress with a deep V neckline!! I wouldn't have even given my wedding dress a 2nd look if I hadn't gotten input from those ladies in BFAC Tacoma. Overall, best dress shopping experience ever.

This wedding shop is an absolute dream! Not only do they have an insane amount of choices but their dresses are priced SO well. The shop was so well decorated, very easy to shop in and try on dresses. Also, the girls working there were so knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of working with Chelsea in the Tacoma store and she truly helped me see the potential for the dress my sister picked out for me. The dress was 3 sizes too big so I was very iffy at first. I said yes to the dress, got it altered and it was absolutely perfect! Thank you Brides for a Cause and staff, you all are passionate for what you do and it shows! Strongly recommend visiting and purchasing your dress with them!

I went here over the weekend, (November 2019), and found my dress! The shop was clean and easy to navigate. I came on a Friday morning since I was bringing six guests with me and wanted to not hog a lot of the dressing area seating. I picked a beautiful dress from La Soie Bridal that was a sample from one of their salons. The original price was $1600 at the salon and the sale price for this shop was $550! It was in like new condition. The workers there were also helpful and constantly brought dresses to the room for me to try on. Go here first before you spend more on a new dress elsewhere because the money goes to charity and you’ll get a steal of a deal for a quality dress!

I loved shopping for my dress here. It was the first place I looked and I ended up buying the second dress I tried on. My dress was 50% off of its retail price and actually had never been worn. The women working were very kind and helpful. While I can’t compare it to any other wedding dress boutique, I do know I wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m so glad I got such a great deal and was able to support a good cause.

What a great store!! I found my dress here!! There was a huge variety, the salespeople were so friendly and helpful, and I really liked their large dressing/changing area. On the one hand: They gave us the brief spiel at the beginning, that they didn't do one-on-one consultations and we would be pulling and trying dresses by ourselves (which is fine); but on the other hand, they checked on us a dozen times, performed small fixes while I was trying stuff on (my dress had a very tiny stain in it, that they pulled right out with a bleach pen for me), and were always right there. This is a great place to go with a team of friends/mom/sisters who are willing to pull you in and out of dresses. We had a total blast and I love my dress!

I was so excited to go to this store because of what it does. we got there and were greeted by the very friendly staff. They let us get started and showed us the different sizes. After trying on some very small dresses they asked me how I felt in the dresses and when I said they were too small they told me the size that would better fit my upper body and that I needed to size off of that and then get the dress sized to me. The staff were so helpful and would take the dresses back to my dressing room and clear out the dresses I didn't like. I ended up finding the perfect dress after one of the staff told me we could shorten the torso. My dress was 2000 dollars new but I only paid 300. my groom was so happy that it was right on budget.

Such an amazing concept and mission. My sister and I went to Brides for a Cause and found the perfect wedding gown for a fraction of the cost anywhere else. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They treated her like a queen and made her feel so special. We had so much fun and enjoyed our experience. The shop was really fun to look through. I highly recommend any bride to stop and take a look here first and see if they can find their dream dress for an affordable price.

I had a wonderful time buying my wedding dress here. They had a great selection of dresses in a variety of sizes and styles. The prices were also reasonable. It was a beautiful showroom, very clean. The sales people were very friendly, not pushy, and were as hands on or hands off as you wanted them to be. I would definitely recommend this store to any bride shopping for her wedding dress.

It helps to go in with no expectations, because you very well might walk out with the PERFECT dress that is well below your budget. If you're in the market for a dress, I 100% recommend at least looking here first. You never know what you're going to find, and who doesn't want to give back in the process?

I bought my dress here! I went to 4 different shops and this one had my favorite selection and the best prices, by far. At the end I had two amazing dresses to pick between and I'm so happy that the money I spent goes back to a good cause! You can find a gorgeous dress here for $500 or less. These are "used" dresses but in many cases the dresses were sample dresses donated from other boutiques and never left a dressing room. I was able to look up the designer of the dress I bought and it was originally around $1,500 -- and I got it for $600. You can drop in at any point and browse. Do it!

Brides for a Cause offers a great selection of beautiful dresses for a fraction of the price of your typical bridal shop. I found a perfect dress for me there that was ridiculously inexpensive and didn’t even need to be altered! I love that my purchase contributed to a good cause and that a bride before me could enjoy it, and hopefully another one after me!

Went in early on a Saturday morning and had the shop to myself for about 20 minutes so we could grab dresses! I tried on about 30 dresses before finding the one. They had a seamstress on site who gave me ideas on alterations and potential costs. I got a $2500 dress for $250. Can’t beat that. The dress was comfortable and was absolutely stunning

I had so much fun trying on dresses here! They let you browse and try on however many dresses you want. Their dresses are all well cared for and in bags. Also they have a huge variety of styles and flavor which I found to be the best part. Have Fun!!!

I am so happy I bought my dress at Brides for a Cause. Of the 3 shops I visited, they were by far the friendliest, most laid back, and most helpful. I would highly recommend starting your search there!

I honestly didn’t expect to A. Find my dress so quickly, B. Have my dress PERFECTLY altered to my body as if it were custom made. And C. Be able to afford the dress of my dreams (bought a NEW sample $10,000 designer gown) for my $1100 budget. I looked at several other salons and nothing compares to the individual selection at brides for a cause! Buying a dress I knew not every bride would have meant so much to me and truly made my day so special! By the way, Rainie at Heathers Alterations, was able to meet me at the Portland Brides for a cause location and helped me customize my gown with her expert eye for design!!!

Brides for a Cause was amazing! I found both my Wedding Dress and Veil ! The selection of dresses was wide in sizes, styles, shapes and trends. I was able to try on all kinds of dresses to figure out my favorite silhouette. We went first thing in the morning and the shop was tidy, organized and the staff was ready to help explain the process. I brought my Mom and sister with me and would recommend bringing someone to help you get into the dresses and offer support. The Staff offered suggestions and showed where in the shop to find the best lighting, sizing clips, undergarments etc. I was able to visit both the Tacoma and Portland shops and thought both were well stocked and gorgeously decorated. For a company that does so much good, I was incredibly surprised at the reasonable prices of their gowns (and veils and shoes!)

I do not regret getting my dress here. They had a good selection and the prices are very cost effective.

My experience here was a dream. It’s as simple as that. The Portland shop had so much charm. So many dresses to look through and accessories to try on. LOVE LOVE

Found my dress here! What’s more to say? Nice prices, I got mine half the retail price. A heartmelting experience because of all the variety and the attention from the personnel.

I love this incredible organization! I'd done the rounds at the traditional wedding dress boutiques, and wasn't loving the experience. Enter BFAC; they provided such laid-back service, and were super accommodating. The selection is diverse and if you don't find something the first time, follow their Instagram for ongoing updates of their inventory. Saying "yes" to the dress was so much easier due to a lower price point, friendly/no-pressure service and the knowledge that my purchase would benefit other women. I heart BFAC!

Walked in with no appointment on a rainy Saturday with just my mom. I'd never tried on dresses before so I figured it would be a nice low-pressure way to dip my toe into trying on dresses and figuring out which styles I like/work on my body. I probably tried on 12 dresses varying in size from "not even close to zipping up" to "I can fit another person in here" just to wrap my head around different styles. One lovely gal hung back up all my dresses after trying them on and she was so sweet and patient. I was getting tired of playing dress up when my mom insisted I go out and look one more time--and I'm so glad I did! I found an adorable strapless dress with a high/low hem and a sweetheart neckline that was an absolute steal--$50!! It was by far the least expensive dress I tried on--I think most of the others were ~$150-800. After $56 for dry cleaning (yes, more than I paid for the dress!), the dress looks like new. I like it a lot but I don't think it is THE dress for my beach ceremony. I plan to use it at the courthouse or another wedding related event. I highly recommend stopping by the shop since you'll never know what you'll find! I would not recommend bringing more than one or two people though, as they're a smallish shop, so there's not a lot of room to have a fashion show with every outfit especially if it's busy.

This should be the #1 place to look for your dress! They have great deals and amazing wedding dresses and bridsmaid dress!❤️

Loved my experience shopping at Brides for a Cause - Seattle! I went on a whim one Saturday, not expecting to find much and walked away with my dream dress at an AMAZING price! I can't praise this store enough. The staff was great, helpful when I needed it but gave me space to browse otherwise. I'm also a super tall bride (6' 3") and the dress I found is so long I might even need to get it hemmed. So I highly encourage people of all shapes and sizes to give this place a shot - they really do have dresses for all body types. Plus the money goes to a good cause! Everyone should at least give Brides for a Cause a look - they're amazing!

I found my dream dress at the dress dash! The seamstress's were so helpful and the staff kept coming around to check on us and see if we needed anything! It was a lot of fun, and great to see all the other brides rushing to find their dream dress!

These ladies were a dream to work with!! Not only did they help me find gowns in my correct size and price range, they made me feel welcome and at ease! I loved the atmosphere and whole heartedly recommend you look here for your dream gown.

I can't say enough good things about this shop. Chelsea went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. They have so many amazing dresses that are samples from other stores, this bridal shop saved me so much money and made me feel so welcomed in their shop, even when Chelsea knew I had fallen in love with a dress (It was out of my price budget). I have never had so much fun in a bridal shop! I walked out with a stunning dress and a smile on my face. This shop is amazing and I highly recommend them to any bride!

I participated in their annual dress dash not expected much but walked away with my dream dress. We got there at the second half of the day which may have helped, but for me it wasn't nearly the "Black Friday shopping" type experience I was expecting. Yes, there are a lot of people; but everyone- staff, volunteers, and brides I spoke with were so kind! So grateful to have gotten my dress here to have my money to go a good cause and such a great deal!

I recently bought my dress at Brides for a Cause and had such an amazing experience! Their entire staff was so friendly and helpful especially to brides who are on their very first wedding dress shopping trip. They explained the process of how each dress was labeled and how wedding dresses are typically sized. They’re constantly receiving new dresses so if you don’t find “the dress” on your first visit, I highly recommend going back to look again. That’s exactly what I did and I’m so glad that I did. Their mission is so wonderful and I’m so happy they’re raising money for charity. I will definitely be recommending Brides for a Cause to friends and family in the future!

I found my dress here at Brides for a Cause and I had an excellent experience! The time I spent here was stress-free and made me feel so special! From the start the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. They were hands-off, but always around if I had questions or concerns. I will recommend this boutique to all my friends!

Right when we walked in we were welcomed and helped right away. They were really friendly and had a positive attitude. It really helped me feel comfortable. I was able to browse through the dresses without feeling any pressure from the staff. I didn't expect to find my dress on my 1st boutique visit but I was lucky and fell in love with one! The price also made it hard not to buy. The dress was in good condition and they also provide alterations from one of the staff. Overall I loved this place, their mission, the positive attitude, and the variety of dresses.

I went to the boutiques and every sales associate treated me like they needed a sale desperately and hounded me after trying on dresses. Brides for Cause was absolutely no pressure!!! They had the biggest selection and the prices cannot be beat. I would never recommend going to a boutique and wasting money. I even went back and picked up my perfect veil!!!

I only have great things to say about Brides for a Cause. I wish I had started my dress shopping here, instead I started by trying on about 10 very uncomfortable dresses somewhere else. I found THE dress within 30 minutes at Brides for a Cause. The dress I chose was significantly discounted from the retail price stated on the tags. My total was $350 for a Matthew Christopher wedding dress. Brand new, with tags, no flaws, and only needing one small alteration. I was given a list of reputable businesses to use for my alterations. Every person I encountered was kind and helpful. I absolutely would recommend Brides to a Cause to anyone. Based off of my experience and the fact that the proceeds are for donation this is a MUST on the list. One thing that may deter some brides is the fact that some dresses are donated used and some are donated already damaged. Keep in mind there are plenty of new and undamaged dresses if you take the time to look. Happy shopping, ladies!

I found my dress second visit there. I fell in love with it. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Being able to go in without scheduling an appointment made the search for the perfect dress easy and fun. I highly recommend them.

Location was an hour away, but well worth it. I found their website online and fell in love with the cause. I walked in with the mentality of just looking since I just got engaged three weeks ago. I've been dressing shopping with a friend who I was the maid of honor for and it was fun, but dresses were expensive. She paid almost $2,000 for her dress to only wear one day. This was the first place I tried dresses on and it was an amazing experience. Not only were the dresses high quality but priced amazingly! I put a dress on hold to think about it, but think I'll purchase the ONE! The price is just amazingly low for amazing quality! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! I felt like a million dollars on my wedding day all thanks to Brides for Cause. I spent minimal money on a designer gown that I would of never of been able to pay retail for. It was a wonderful experience shopping there at the store and they were more than helpful during the process. I cannot say enough about the shop and my experience I had there. What a fantastic store! I was not enthusiastic about spending several hundred (or more) dollars on a dress that I would be wearing only once, but I was not having any luck at regular stores finding a dress that felt sufficiently bridal (Macy's, Nordstrom, etc.) Brides for a Cause had an excellent selection of dresses at amazing prices. There is no pressure to buy a dress, and you don't need to make an appointment in advance. Taking advantage of the freedom to browse, I was able to try on dresses that I might not have considered trying on otherwise, and I got a better sense of the styles that I liked best. Eventually I found a beautiful dress that fit perfectly off the rack, and I received many compliments at my wedding. Thank you, Brides for a Cause!

AMAZING! Went to the trunk show in Seattle and was in and out in TEN minutes! No joke, I knew exactly what I was looking for and there it was! I can't recommend these guys enough!

I got my absolute dream Sarah Seven dress for $200!! I also love that the profits go to charity, I think I'll donate my dress back to them so that someone else can have the same experience!

Came in to the shop a week after I got engaged just to get an idea of what I might like. I ended up finding my dress, it worked out perfectly! They were able to hold it until I could figure out when I'd have the money to come back. I highly recommend them!

I had a wonderful experience at this sweet boutique and I was lucky enough to find my dream dress here! For being a discount bridal like shop, I was much more impressed with the airy and dreamy environment and kind staff than any other local upscale boutique in the Tacoma/Seattle area that I visited in search of my dress. Each gal working was so sweet and genuine, and they perfectly walked the line of being helpful, and also respecting my time with my mom and future mother-in-law. To top it off, much of the money that I spent on my dress goes back to helping girls and women in our community. My dress needs a little bit of love, but nothing that a good seamstress can't help adjust, and the dress is truly one in a million. I'd highly recommend this shop for any bride-to-be! I waltzed away swooning!

I visited Brides for a Cause to look for my wedding dress and was so impressed! My two aunts, mother, and I came on a Saturday morning right when they opened. We were greeted warmly, given instructions, and treated so well throughout our time there. I felt so special every time I tried on a dress - the staff is so attentive and helpful. I highly recommend looking for your wedding dress here. The prices are unbeatable.

I had originally bought my dress online, it was a designer knock off that I could afford. Big mistake, HUGE. It fit me well, but was falling apart. There was no way I could wear that on my wedding day. I went to Brides for a Cause in Tacoma this last weekend and was blown away. My only criticism is that they make it seem like the dresses are completely clean on their website, whereas in real life there was makeup galore on some of these gowns. That could be from getting tried on at the boutique though. I tried on about 15 dresses, none priced higher than $800! I went to DAVID'S BRIDAL and couldn't find a better value. I ended up with the PERFECT dress that fit me like a glove. It was well within my budget and made me cry tears of joy. I can't wait to wear this dress on my big day, thank you so much Brides for a Cause!!!!

Amazing! From the second we walked in the door, we had a staff member helping us. The dresses were well organized by size, and all of the staff was eager to give advice, help find a dress that would be flattering to me and the style that I had in mind. A member of the staff was always right there to help with clamping the dress to see the right fit and to add any extra detail (sashes, belts, straps..) that would look good with the dress- every time I came out of the dressing room! I am extremely happy with all the help and opinions I received from all the girls there. I went on a Saturday and Heather (from Alterations by Heather) was there volunteering her time to give advice and ballpark estimates on dress alterations and cleanings- I am so happy she was there! With all the help and accommodations, I picked THE dress in just a couple hours! On top of the amazing service I received, the dresses were all donated and all proceeds go to charities that improve our community, and that makes all the difference. Good prices, good service, good cause. THANK YOU Brides for a Cause!

What a wonderful place! I found my perfect wedding dress here for a super affordable price in under three hours. It was more fun and less stressful than shopping for a pair of jeans! The atmosphere was fun, the sales attendants were super helpful and knowledgeable and helped me see all the possibilities with each dress, including potential alterations. I never felt rushed or pressured in any way, just free and encouraged to find the right thing. The selection is of course random because it's donation-based, but that's part of the magic. They also gave me great seamstress and cleaner recommendations. I'll be back for a bridesmaids dress for an upcoming wedding where I'm not the bride!

What a great store! I came in on a whim after striking out for the perfect dress at several bridal shops. The staff was extremely helpful and assisted me as needed but was not pushy even once which is what I found to be the one common theme while wedding dress shopping. I not only found a dress that is perfect it was cheaper than I could have imagined and they offered a fabulous military discount on top of that. I loved the experience so much I brought my best friend who is also getting married the following week and she too found the perfect dress, much cheaper than expected and without the pressure to buy. Love this store! Please give it a try. I hope you love it too!

Everyone MUST start their dress-hunt at Brides for a Cause. The shop has an inviting, warm atmosphere and plenty of dress options to choose from. I found my ceremony dress within 40 minutes of entering the shop and plan to return to look for a reception dress.

I had a really hard time deciding on a dress but when I came here I found an amazing designer sample dress in great condition so I had to buy it! (And it was so well priced that I drown down to Portland and got a second dress for the reception!) The employees were great, very knowledgeable about wedding dresses, accessories and alterations, and she even helped style me! I cannot recommend this place enough, whether you don't have much in the budget or even if you do, they have some amazing designer dresses for unbelievable prices.

I had my eye on this shop from the beginning of my wedding planning journey because of their great mission. I had stopped into the boutique on a whim one day when my MOH was in town. I didn't have time to try on any dresses, but I was very impressed by the amount and variety of dresses, the cleanliness and order of the store, and (of course) the prices. So when one of their dress dashes was coming up, I decided to give it a try! All the volunteers at the event were very nice and helpful. They kept things flowing well, and it never felt like a crazed bridezilla type event like what you'd see on TV. There was a variety of dresses - all sizes, styles, and even a few non-traditional colors! I ended up falling in love with the first dress I put on (although I tried on a few more just to be sure). The volunteer seamstress gave me a realistic idea of how it could be altered. Some of the dresses were in better shape than others (for example: small rips, some staining along the bottom), but the seamstress was 100% upfront about what could and could not be fixed. I ended up getting a $3,600 dress for only $150, all while supporting a great cause! I highly recommend it.

This was the only place I wanted to get my Vow Renewal Dress no matter how long it took to find the right one. The first day my daughter and I went I had a hard tim selecting between 4 dresses, but finally bought the right one. A dress that they were hesitant to show brides, but it was BEAUTIFUL on!!!! Everyone was so nice and no pressure. A bride came in just looking and didnt expect walk out with her perfect dress and a style she would have never picked out. A wonderful cause!!!!
