Our charity bridal store wouldn't be possible without our donors from around the country who generously donate wedding gowns and to our brides who choose our bridal store to shop for their wedding dresses! have a horrible time finding regular clothes that fit me let alone a wedding dress. the girls working were so kind. We walked in, checked in and got a tour of the store while being shown the ropes. this store has everything!! I was warned that they would maybe not have many in my size. but they did! I did not feel pressured. to buy anything. my mom was able to help me get in and out of the dresses and it was A very enjoyable experience. the store is clean and very organized. and-I found my dress!! 4 months before my wedding. Lost way too much weight and had to find a new one 2 weeks before our day. I went 3 times trying to find my dress. I went by my self on one occasion, the staff was so accommodating…even when I had a bit of a panic attack. They brought me water, let me site, talked to me. I came back again the following week and found the most perfect dress. They never made me feel silly for constantly coming back, even trying the same dress on over and over. You must come visit this store!!!

I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted, without being hassled or tricked into buying something I didn’t want. The customer service was absolutely amazing, helpful, and supportive. They helped me throughout the entire process and I was able to find “THE DRESS” at Brides For A Cause !! My absolute love my dress..! I cried when I walked out and saw myself in it..it experience was great and I highly recommend this boutique to any and everyone looking to save while finding the wedding dress of your dreams!!

ive, and helpful! I was adamant I didn't want a deep V neckline but they convinced me, not in a pushy way at all, to try one on since they thought I'd like good in one. My jaw was to the floor when I loved a BHLDN gown that had the deepest neckline I've ever worn! The ladies also helped me with accessories and gave me the confidence I needed during my dress shopping. Although I didn't get that specific BHLDN dress, I had another appointment with the Seattle BFAC salon right after where I did end up purchasing a BHLDN gown - a dress with a deep V neckline!! I wouldn't have even given my wedding dress a 2nd look if I hadn't gotten input from those ladies in BFAC Tacoma. Overall, best dress shopping experience ever.

anted to not hog a lot of the dressing area seating. I picked a beautiful dress from La Soie Bridal that was a sample from one of their salons. The original price was $1600 at the salon and the sale price for this shop was $550! It was in like new condition. The workers there were also helpful and constantly brought dresses to the room for me to try on. Go here first before you spend more on a new dress elsewhere because the money goes to charity and you’ll get a steal of a deal for a quality dress!

ne hand: They gave us the brief spiel at the beginning, that they didn't do one-on-one consultations and we would be pulling and trying dresses by ourselves (which is fine); but on the other hand, they checked on us a dozen times, performed small fixes while I was trying stuff on (my dress had a very tiny stain in it, that they pulled right out with a bleach pen for me), and were always right there. This is a great place to go with a team of friends/mom/sisters who are willing to pull you in and out of dresses. We had a total blast and I love my dress!

fter trying on some very small dresses they asked me how I felt in the dresses and when I said they were too small they told me the size that would better fit my upper body and that I needed to size off of that and then get the dress sized to me. The staff were so helpful and would take the dresses back to my dressing room and clear out the dresses I didn't like. I ended up finding the perfect dress after one of the staff told me we could shorten the torso. My dress was 2000 dollars new but I only paid 300. my groom was so happy that it was right on budget.

so happy that the money I spent goes back to a good cause! You can find a gorgeous dress here for $500 or less. These are "used" dresses but in many cases the dresses were sample dresses donated from other boutiques and never left a dressing room. I was able to look up the designer of the dress I bought and it was originally around $1,500 -- and I got it for $600. You can drop in at any point and browse. Do it!

I brought my Mom and sister with me and would recommend bringing someone to help you get into the dresses and offer support. The Staff offered suggestions and showed where in the shop to find the best lighting, sizing clips, undergarments etc. I was able to visit both the Tacoma and Portland shops and thought both were well stocked and gorgeously decorated. For a company that does so much good, I was incredibly surprised at the reasonable prices of their gowns (and veils and shoes!)

dresses and figuring out which styles I like/work on my body. I probably tried on 12 dresses varying in size from "not even close to zipping up" to "I can fit another person in here" just to wrap my head around different styles. One lovely gal hung back up all my dresses after trying them on and she was so sweet and patient. I was getting tired of playing dress up when my mom insisted I go out and look one more time--and I'm so glad I did! I found an adorable strapless dress with a high/low hem and a sweetheart neckline that was an absolute steal--$50!! It was by far the least expensive dress I tried on--I think most of the others were ~$150-800. After $56 for dry cleaning (yes, more than I paid for the dress!), the dress looks like new. I like it a lot but I don't think it is THE dress for my beach ceremony. I plan to use it at the courthouse or another wedding related event. I highly recommend stopping by the shop since you'll never know what you'll find! I would not recommend bringing more than one or two people though, as they're a smallish shop, so there's not a lot of room to have a fashion show with every outfit especially if it's busy.

can't praise this store enough. The staff was great, helpful when I needed it but gave me space to browse otherwise. I'm also a super tall bride (6' 3") and the dress I found is so long I might even need to get it hemmed. So I highly encourage people of all shapes and sizes to give this place a shot - they really do have dresses for all body types. Plus the money goes to a good cause! Everyone should at least give Brides for a Cause a look - they're amazing!

else. I found THE dress within 30 minutes at Brides for a Cause. The dress I chose was significantly discounted from the retail price stated on the tags. My total was $350 for a Matthew Christopher wedding dress. Brand new, with tags, no flaws, and only needing one small alteration. I was given a list of reputable businesses to use for my alterations. Every person I encountered was kind and helpful. I absolutely would recommend Brides to a Cause to anyone. Based off of my experience and the fact that the proceeds are for donation this is a MUST on the list. One thing that may deter some brides is the fact that some dresses are donated used and some are donated already damaged. Keep in mind there are plenty of new and undamaged dresses if you take the time to look. Happy shopping, ladies!

ar stores finding a dress that felt sufficiently bridal (Macy's, Nordstrom, etc.) Brides for a Cause had an excellent selection of dresses at amazing prices. There is no pressure to buy a dress, and you don't need to make an appointment in advance. Taking advantage of the freedom to browse, I was able to try on dresses that I might not have considered trying on otherwise, and I got a better sense of the styles that I liked best. Eventually I found a beautiful dress that fit perfectly off the rack, and I received many compliments at my wedding. Thank you, Brides for a Cause!

ry and dreamy environment and kind staff than any other local upscale boutique in the Tacoma/Seattle area that I visited in search of my dress. Each gal working was so sweet and genuine, and they perfectly walked the line of being helpful, and also respecting my time with my mom and future mother-in-law. To top it off, much of the money that I spent on my dress goes back to helping girls and women in our community. My dress needs a little bit of love, but nothing that a good seamstress can't help adjust, and the dress is truly one in a million. I'd highly recommend this shop for any bride-to-be! I waltzed away swooning!
