Went for my girls bridesmaids dresses today and had such an amazing experience! The owner Leslie is such a sweetheart and really takes the time to make sure everything is perfect for everybody. All the other workers were helpful and so sweet as well especially Concetta. The place was so clean and in order and they work with you on pricing to make sure you get everything you want. I would recommended this place to anyone looking for bridesmaid dresses

I just have to share the amazing experience I’ve had so far at Here Comes The Bridesmaid in Bethpage. One of my friends found it and I took 4 out of 5 of my girls there for the first time last week. They have great late hours Tuesday through Thursday until 8pm. For someone who works 2 jobs, that is so appreciated! I was lucky enough to meet Ashley our first time there and went back with my bridesmaid (the one who couldn’t make it last week) last night and had such a great experience again! Ashley is very knowledgeable in the bridal industry, as she’s been apart of it since she was a teenager. She even told me I was overpaying for something with my wedding dress and advised I say something to my bridal place! My friend purchased the dress she loved last night and the other girls will be doing the same on Sunday 2/17. YES, they have Sunday hours once a month, also AMAZING! I just can’t say enough great things about this place and the wonderful staff. It truly is a hidden gem in the industrial area of Bethpage and I’m so glad someone told me about it! If anyone is on the fence about where to go, start here and you won’t need to go anywhere else. They have a bigger selection than other places I’ve seen and are more personable as well. This is one of the best decisions I’ve made so far!

When I found Here Comes the Bridesmaid, little did I know it was SO close to my parents’ house! I went with my sister (MOH) to try on dresses first. We narrowed it down to about 3-4 different styles. A few weeks later, my girls met up there, and we decided on a dress. The prices were reasonable and the measurements were good. A lot of my girls had to get theirs taken in and altered. Part of me wonders if the measurements could have been more accurate, but I’m much more grateful for them to be too big than too small. Overall, a great place to purchase a dress.

I am writing to let you know about the wonderful experience I had while shopping at Here Comes the Bridesmaid yesterday with Ashley as our consultant. My sister got married a few years ago and used Here Comes the Bridesmaid for her bridal party, and after she had a great experience working with your company, I knew I wanted to do the same for my bridesmaids. I came shopping with two of my bridesmaids, and Ashley was immediately so warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Whereas one of my girls found her dress right away, the other was having difficulties finding a dress she liked with her new post-baby body. Ashley did an amazing job (with so much patience!) of finding a variety of styles to fit her needs and help her find a dress she now loves! Ashley was also extremely helpful and accommodating to help me organize the current and future orders for my bridal party of 11 girls, who live all across the country. Overall, Ashley helped make the entire process smooth and pleasurable. I will be sure to recommend Ashley and Here Comes the Bridesmaid to all of my future friends once they become brides!

Are you a bride? Bridesmaid? MOH? Do you want to be angry, upset, pissed, cheated and lied to!?! If so you have picked the best store to goto in Long Island!!!! I live out of town and the bridal party 7 total went to this store and placed an order. I got sized by a seamstress at Nordstrom’s and Bloomingdales and I was given the same measurements so I knew they were correct. I am 130 lbs and 5’0. Normally wear a size 6-8 depending on the dress. Well this store decided the best size for me would be a size 20. Yes a size 20!! They promised the dress would fit at least 1 area of my body and it was big all around like a trash bag. Here is a picture of how horrible of a fit this was. I could fit another person in this dress! When I called the store and when the bride went to the store rather then trying to be helpful and trying to figuring out how to resolve the issue the employee was rude getting loud with me on the phone. At first she said she’s not a seamstress but then acted like she knew it all and said everything is fixable. She even went as far as telling me how another customer had a miscarriage and was able to get a dress fixed. First off that was the trashiest thing I’ve ever heard to share someone’s personal experience with someone else. That’s when I knew this store has zero class. I told her I visited two places that said if the dress was to be altered the seams would be compromised I told the store this and they didn’t care. They are heartless and rude. I am considering disputing the charge with my credit card company as my card was charged and as the cardholder I never agreed or was disclosed it’s a final sale, no returns. I never signed anything agreeing to that. I ended up talking to another store that sells this dress who was happy to help me figure this out and confirmed this store clearly doesn’t know how to order the right size. I plan on purchasing another dress from a reliable store, because clearly this is not one of them. It’s worth spending extra money to get the job done right then work with inexperienced people who don’t know what they are doing. I do not recommend this store to anyone!!!!! Wish I could give them zero stars!

I went to 3 other bridesmaid dress shops before finally ending up at Here Comes the Bridesmaid. I was able to visit their showroom on Long Island, which I highly recommend. The staff is so sweet and helpful and encouraging. Some shops only have enormous sizes; some shops don't let you clip the dresses to fit correctly; some shops have torn-up, ripped dresses; some shops told me they had certain styles when they didn't. That is SO NOT the case here. Everything was clean and beautiful and in stock as promised! I went first with just my MOH to try dresses on, then went back with the rest of my bridesmaids (4x girls total) for them to try the dress on themselves and order. The staff gave us a bit of a discount on the dress without me even asking, and the ordering process was so seamless. They don't do alterations, but that was fine, because once the dresses shipped my girls were able to do it in their hometowns upstate, in the city, or in other states on their own time.

My friend had us order our dresses here for her bridal party. Picking something out there went fine but they measured us all wrong. She told me to order a 2 and I went with a 4 to play it safe. When the dress came I couldn't get it zipped. Turns out, 5 of us were not able to get our dresses zipped and everyone ordered based on THEIR measurements - not one girl sized down from what they advised. Now we all have to feel like stuffed sausages and self conscious about ourselves at our best friend's wedding because they did not measure any of us correctly. One of the girls was told she had to spend hundreds of dollars to order more material because of how far off the sizing was. Then after her complaining to the store for so long they happened to have an extra dress in a bigger size. My seamstress took it out as much as was possible on the dress and it still barely zips. If you do go here, go up AT LEAST TWO SIZES from what they suggest.

What a disaster! So I finally found a bridesmaid dress that I loved at a bridal store where I live. The price at the bridal store was steep and I was excited to find the same designer dress on Bridesmaids.com for a much better price. What luck! When I received the dresses however, they were NOT the same color! My beautiful fall slate blue wedding just became a spring time baby blue and I'm so sad. My dress is blush so now it looks like we're all going to a fancy baby shower. And bonus, none of the dresses fit my bridesmaids, they are all too small! We used the sizing guide by the dress designer Bari Jay which was listed on their website. Despite the bad reviews of their terrible customer service, I went ahead and sent the email with pictures to them, hoping they would help. Of course they came back saying that it was an issue of screen resolution and offered no recourse. Needless to say, unless you have personally put on the exact style, color and size of the dress you are ordering and are ok with not getting what you wanted, I would stay away from this company! Trust me, its not worth the disappointment and anxiety.

A bit hard to find, but definitely worth the effort. They carry dozens of designers, with samples in many different sizes and colors. Because they have so many different colors, you can actually see what a dress looks like, as opposed to just looking at swatches. They will match or beat competitors prices. If you go during the week you will get very personalized attention. We will probably either go with Watters or Mori Lee.

Amazing bridesmaid dress shop in Bethpage. Bought 4 Christina Wu from here after 2 visits. Prices and service were great - and it's really not crowded if you avoid the weekend. They have hundreds of samples in a dizzying array of colors and materials.

If you're looking for Bridesmaid Dresses, look no further! Here Comes the Bridesmaid is a hidden gem on Long Island. I have a large bridal party (2 maid of honors and 9 bridesmaids). Not only did I have multiple personalities, but also had to work within a tight budget. I went to 4 other shops before Here Comes the Bridesmaid and was ready to give up until I found this place. The store is small but the selection is huge. They have hundreds of dresses with notable designers such as Adrianna Pappell, Bill Levkoff, Allure, Bari Jay, and Hayley Paige (just to name a few). The sales consultants are not pushy and they are excellent with working with your vision. I loved their honesty when I asked for their opinion. I was there for less than 45 minutes and found the perfect dress for my bridal party. They were able to work with my budget and bring the dress price down (due to my large bridal party and price matching online). They made the ordering process a breeze. One of my bridesmaids lives out of state and they have worked seamlessly with her. Leslie, communicated with her via email and she was able to go to a local seamstress and get her measurements to Leslie that way. Although I would strongly recommend getting measured by the ladies at Here Comes the Bridesmaid (so they can show you the measurement chart and you can see exactly where you fall and what size to order), they understand everyone has busy lives. They allowed my bridesmaids to come in on their own time, when it was convenient for them, allowed them all to try on the dress OR gave them the option of sending their measurements like my out of state bride. The payment process was a breeze. They allow you to pay in multiple forms of payment (Ie; if every bridesmaid wanted to pay individually for their own dresses on their own cards) OR you were allowed to put it all on one card. We opted to put it all on one card. I will warn that they require 100% payment up front HOWEVER, there is no need to fear. These ladies are professionals and handle their business as such. Dresses were ordered in late February-early March and were delivered to the store in PERFECT condition by May 24th (one week earlier than was expected). Upon pick up, the dresses were labeled with each bridesmaids name and size and hung meticulously in a plastic dress bag. If I could dress shop again, I would have skipped all the other places and just come here. Highly recommend and will continue to recommend to all my family members and friends!!

I came in on a VERY busy Saturday and the staff bent over backwards to help me and my eight girls. The selection was amazing. the prices and service were better than the many shops I visited prior to this. We knew right away this was the store for us. It was a little hard to find, but well worth it! Dodjie and Concetta were the sweetest and made our shopping experience so easy. I would highly recommend Here Comes The Bridesmaid.

Started looking for bridesmaids dresses and I found Here Comes the Bridesmaids. Such a great place with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tons of styles to choose from and they carry all the best designers. Also got quotes for the styles I like and the prices are amazing. Definitely getting all my bridesmaids dresses from Here Comes the Bridesmaids.

This store is a hidden gem. The service is amazing. Every girl who works there is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The selection was great. I have 10 girls ranging in all different shapes and sized. The girls there made them all feel beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend all Brides buy their bridesmaids here!!

Their customer service is horrible. I tried to call them to speak to someone about my order and three different times were told "she's on vacation". No one ever called me back. I corresponded through email with them and they were extremely RUDE telling me "this would be the last contact they would have with me". It would have been nice to be able to speak with someone over the phone about my issues...They also claim the dresses are custom ordered and can't be returned...do your self a favor and buy from Nordstroms instead. Free shipping and RETURNS.

What a joke. These dresses are not "made-to-order". I received a dress that is about 5 sizes too big and will cost double what I paid to have it altered. This is a scam.

Dress arrived in an envelope, not a box. Completely wrinkled and needs to be steamed. Dress has stain, which will hopefully come out with dry cleaning. Issue with zipper not zipping even though it fits, need to take dress to seamstress.

Amazing experience. We had a manufacturing issue with one dress. We sent back the dress to bridesmaids.com, within a week we received a response saying they were replacing the dress. Great to work with. I have been recommending the site to friends.

Here Comes The Bridesmaid is one of the few locations where you can try on dresses from bridesmaid dress designs, such as Bari Jay. That is the store's main benefit. It is more like a warehouse, with very little staff to help. And each dress is only available in one size and color. I went there on 2 occasions, and had an ok experience in both. You really have to find the dresses yourself, and the staff was very unclear on the sizing charts (a very key part of ordering a bridesmaid dress!) We ended up ordering the dresses online, which took almost 4 months! And many of the sizes were incorrect, even though all of the bridesmaids measured themselves based on the sizing charts provided. If you can, I'd recommend ordering a bridesmaid dress from somewhere like J.Crew, and avoiding this type of bridesmaid store.

I bought a corset top (part of the bridesmaids separates line) to wear for my wedding. I had tried on a similar style from the same designer at a salon, but since they didn't have the ivory color I wanted, I ordered from Bridesmaids.com. No price markup, and it shipped directly to me. The fit was perfect. The only thing to keep in mind is that it does take 9-12 weeks to ship, so order early!

The prices are great and the customer service was awesome. Every time I called to follow up they pleasantly answer any question I had.

Unsure at this stage as I am still waiting for my dress but prior to placing the order, staff were helpful.

The website offered me the option to order designer dresses at about half of the store prices. The dresses arrived a about a week later than originally expected, and about a month after I was notified that they had shipped already. When I contacted the company on the date they were expected to arrive, they responded immediately and explained that they were waiting on part of the order. I am pleased with my purchase and the overall customer service experience and looking forward to seeing the ladies in the dresses.

One of the other bridesmaids in our party sent us the link to Bridesmaids.com saying it was the cheapest she could find our various dresses. Early on, my bride new I could become pregnant, and sure enough, 6 months before the wedding, I was expecting! I hesitated to buy anything initially to ensure 1) we made it through the 1st trimester, 2) my bride didn't change her mind about having a pregnant bridesmaid, and 3) I wasn't sure about sizing. FYI Preggie Bridesmaids - Everything I read online suggested adding length and ordering 2 sizes up. I didn't add length, but I did order up (5'6" and 135lbs, I'm usually a 4, but I went with an 8), and so far so good! Won't be trying to make adjustments until August during the wedding, but it seems pretty accurate and I've already set up times with the person altering it in August. Best part about my order came about a month after my purchase (on May 2nd) when I checked in for an update. Rush delivery was listed at 7-8 weeks and I didn't choose that as my option to try to save money, yet in their response they indicated it would come in by the end of June! What a relief! Great customer service in the little time I needed to interact with them. Highly recommend.

I was worried about ordering my bridesmaid dress online but it was a smooth experience and I love my dress. My emails were answered by Brenda right away and all of my questions were answered. I highly recommend.

The dress came in exactly as expected and came WAY sooner than I was initially told which is awesome. I had emailed their support email address asking a couple questions and they were very responsive which I appreciated. The ONLY downfall is that when I received the dress, the post office would not deliver at my house because the sender (bridesmaids.com) did not include enough postage. I had to pick the dress up at the local post office and pay $5.24. When I made the purchase, it said $0 for shipping. I would have rather been told about the shipping cost and I would have paid it up front. Otherwise, very happy with this gorgeous gown and I cannot wait to wear it as my sister's MOH!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with an online retailer. My bridesmaids tried on the gowns at Dessy-approved stores (Desssy style 2844) and the dresses were all lovely - Very well-fitting, perfect fabric, etc. We received the *same* dresses from bridesmaids.com and they were completely different - the material was different, the color was different (and all the bridesmaids colors were different shades, even though we went through their instructions to order from the same dye batch), the dress itself was poorly sewn and manufactured, the boning was warped and sticking out at inappropriate places, the sleeves didn't allow the ladies to raise their arms more than a few inches, and the fit and overall design were not similar to the dresses we had seen previously at all. I reached out to bridesmaids.com to see if I could exchange / return the dresses and they were incredibly rude - Telling me they aren't responsible for me "changing my mind" and "not liking the items" and that because I ordered 7 dresses (I have 7 bridesmaids...) they could do nothing for me. I understand they have a strict return policy, but the rude and insulting manner they treated me with were completely uncalled for. I will never work with this website again - there is a reason they are cheaper. Don't risk it for your wedding day!

Visited the actual store and also had my out of state girls use their website. Great experience and probably the lowest prices anywhere. Very seamless easy process.

I had a wonderful experience at Here Comes The Bridesmaid. After going bridesmaid dress shopping at a traditional bridal store, finding the PERFECT dresses (I chose two different dresses in one color for the girls) and then finding out the price tag (the store wanted to charge the girls over $300 – alterations not included - a dress which I thought was outrageous considering I have 6 bridesmaids and already purchased my wedding dress there) I was in search of a more affordable option for my girls. I came across Here Comes The Bridesmaid via a Google search, as I was on the hunt for the dresses the girls loved at the more pricey store, and was pleasantly surprised by their prices but skeptical given how affordable they were. I work close to store in NYC though so thought I would go and take a look on my lunch break. This is not your average bridal store – the dresses are hung on countless racks around the perimeter of the loft and are packed together by designer – the store is down and dirty though – no frills, no nonsense which I actually didn’t mind given I didn’t really need much help in the dress selection process, I knew what I was going for. The consultant was pleasant and helpful when it came to trying on the dresses (wanted to make sure I was 100% set on the dresses before ordering), pinning and ordering. The girls were able to place their orders via phone and email (they needed to send populated order form via email and follow up via phone with the credit card payment) which was great given most of them are out of state. Only complaint was that the girls sometimes had a tough time getting in touch with the store given there’s typically only one-two people working a time. I personally did the majority of my communication with the store via email which I love since I hate the phone and everything went very smoothly. The consultants were very prompt in their email responses though which I’m a big fan of! I was promised that the dresses would be ready for pick up within 3 months and to my surprise, they came in a full month early! All the dresses were the same color – which I was worried about given the fine print attached to the contracts from the store that the dresses may not be – since we held off on placing the order though until ALL the girls had their forms in, I was more confident that the color would be the same. The quality of the dresses is exceptional (ordered After Six and Dessy dresses in Rose). And I can’t wait to see the girls in the dresses on my wedding day! Thanks again, Here Comes The Bridesmaid – job well done on getting beautiful, affordable dresses for my girls!
