I highly recommend Bridge & Bow Music for a wedding day or any function with strings. The ensemble had impeccable tuning and can play classical to modern contemporary music. The ensemble had great organization skills and follow up leading up to the wedding day for peace of mind. The ensemble played at the church ceremony and cocktail hour at my wedding at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts. As a classically trained soprano who wanted perfect and beautiful music they exceeded my expectation. The ensemble is ideal for the musician bride. Bridge & Bow were so lovely to work with! We booked a quartet for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were incredibly accommodating with song requests and had a wide variety of songs in their arsenal. They added the perfect elegant and classical touch I was looking for to my day. Bridge & Bow made our Nantucket wedding so special! Lauren is a beautiful violinist and expert at helping craft a beautiful ceremony. We came to her with very specific ideas about the music for our ceremony, and she was able to advise us on what would sound best. Lauren was flexible with our many special requests (which turned out beautifully), and she has a fabulous repertoire that helped us make other great selections. Lauren and Elliot have an impressive list of songs to choose from. In our call before the wedding, they were super detail oriented to make sure everything went exactly how we wanted during the ceremony. They played stunning music. Plus their prices are quite reasonable :) would highly recommend!

Bridge and Bow is fantastic, everything you're looking for in a string quartet to play weddings or events. We hired them for our wedding music for the pre-ceremony, ceremony and cocktail hour before dinner and they were fantastic. In particular, Lauren was really great in helping us decide the music for walking in and out of the ceremony, which is usually the most complicated decision. She was patient and responsive, despite some hectic scheduling on our part around the last two weeks before the event. Their repertoire is also huge, including classical, jazz, pop and even some rock music arranged for string quartet. That kind of range means tailoring the music to your event is easier, and you can even just given them some basic guidance and let them fill-in from there.

We are SO happy we booked with Bridge & Bow. We booked a string trio for our wedding ceremony, and it was one of our best decisions for the wedding. Lauren was so accommodating with our song selections, responsive throughout the planning process, and most importantly, the music was beautiful! If you are thinking about booking with them, definitely do it!

Bridge & Bow: What a spectacular quartet to have play at our daughter’s outdoor wedding and cocktail hour - we couldn’t have asked for more! We were impressed by their fun celebratory song list, performance skills and professionalism. They had a substantial repertoire as well as they welcomed song requests and beautifully arranged them, even when they were less traditional pop songs and bluegrass songs. We were delighted and charmed! Multiple guests shared what a highlight it was to kick off the wedding this way, and several people asked how they could see these musicians perform outside of a wedding setting. We were also very impressed with how well the musicians dealt with fluctuating temperatures and unpredictable rain. We are a family that appreciates excellent music and could not recommend them more. This was one of the best part of our wedding! Lauren was so easy to work with, she was able to answer all my questions, accommodating to our tricky schedule with a gap in between and two locations, AND working with the church's organist and our family friend who was singing. The music was INCREDIBLE. Walking down the aisle to a string quartet was perfect. Everyone was thoroughly enjoying them during cocktail hour, they even played Game of Thrones theme song. The array of music was perfect, we had a little bit of everything! Would definitely book again!!

Lauren was a pleasure to work with on our wedding ceremony music! She responded timely, was extremely professional and accommodating of our preferences! We used Bridge & Bow for our daughter's wedding on July 6th at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge. They played for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them for your event. Lauren Cless was the owner who I worked with to set everything up. From our first contact last fall she was always professional, prompt in her replies and completely accommodating. I emailed her several times throughout the year to discuss where they would be seated to accommodate any special needs for them and their instruments. (It was an outdoor wedding in July) She also was open to including any type of music for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. This included broadway musicals , classical, disney themes and many more. They actually schedule an hour long call about one month prior to the ceremony to confirm all the details including processional and recessional music, the times, the dress codes and any other special things you want. Everyone at the wedding was very impressed and complimented us on our choice of string quartet for the music. So, we are very happy to have worked with them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

Lauren and Elliot played for our outdoor ceremony in Colorado. My husband and I are also musicians, so we cared a lot about the quality and selections of music for our ceremony. We chose a mix of traditional and unconventional selections, and we also asked Elliot to play one of his original compositions. In a nutshell, we didn't worry one bit about the music once we knew that these two were going to play for us. They handled the logistics of finding the correct arrangements, were happy to learn the music we had selected, collaborated with a friend of ours who also played piano during the ceremony, and played beautifully (of course!!). In addition to being fantastic musicians, Lauren and Elliot are lovely people to interact with. Having them as our musicians definitely helped to make our day special.

Bridge and Bow was outstanding! We needed a versatile musician, because our music included a Norwegian wedding song, bluegrass music and an adaptation of modern pop music. Bridge and Bow played it all beautifully. Since we planned the wedding ourselves and were dealing with a lot of vendors and requests, it was nice how professional and easy the communication was in the lead up to the wedding. Of all the musicians we were considering, Bridge and Bow was the most responsive and flexible to what we needed. Most importantly, on the wedding day, Bridge and Bow was timely, didn't need to be reminded of anything, and played the music perfectly. Our guests loved it too!

Music is such an important part of the wedding. We wanted a mix of traditional and personal music in our wedding, and Bridge and Bow was perfect for our day. Not only are they amazing musicians (so the music they play on the day is beautiful) but they are talented consultants who have the ability to arrange your favorite songs. For our wedding, they played while people sat down at the church, while the wedding party walked down the aisle, a special arrangement of “All You Need is Love” as part of the ceremony, the recessional, and during our cocktail hour. I couldn’t have imagined working with anyone else or using prerecorded music. We loved working with Bridge and Bow and highly recommend them to any other couples!

I commissioned a trio arrangement of the Postal Service's "Such Great Heights" from Elliot for a close friend's wedding in New York. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the arrangement. It was incredibly special for the couple to have their favorite song incorporated into their ceremony. The musicians who performed it later told me it is among their favorite arrangements of a popular song. I am a music professor, so friends often ask me to assist with recommendations for their wedding music. I always refer them to Bridge & Bow. I know that Elliot and Lauren will provide them with a personalized experience and exceptional musicianship.

Bridge & Bow Music was AMAZING to work with for our wedding. We honestly had no idea what we wanted to do for music for our ceremony. We had a small ceremony at an outdoor venue and basically just wanted to make sure we had great music to help create a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Lauren was very quick to respond at all times and extremely professional, while still being really easy to talk to. We did not want traditional music and Bridge & Bow Music was able to do pretty much whatever we wanted! My fiancé and I each got two choices. Our favorites-I Melt With You (my choice) and a song from the Rocky soundtrack (my fiancé’s choice). They played both flawlessly and everyone loved the unique music. I am so glad we will always have that memory of my new husband throwing jabs like Rocky and both of us laughing as we walked by our friends and family. It really was one of the highlights of the day. Bridge & Bow played before and during our wedding ceremony, and the music was incredible. It greatly elevated our ceremony; having a DJ would have paled in comparison. Throughout the planning process, Lauren and Elliot were easy to work with, accommodating, and very clear about the timeline and the specific music they would perform. They sent us samples to review and their professionalism was encouraging; we knew we were in good hands for our ceremony music! I love the movie "Little Miss Sunshine," and had the idea of walking down the aisle to its theme song. Lauren and Elliot completely embraced this idea and brought it to life!
