She remembered many little details that I mentioned about my wedding even though she’s currently working with so many other brides. ry beautiful. We were impressed with the delicious hot hors d’oeuvres and the cold drinks that we served near the gazebo. The Willow trees and curved bridges were a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. As to the indoor reception, we were pleasantly surprised how hot and flavorful the dinner meal was. The servers were professional and very helpful. The bartenders were courteous and made excellent drinks. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone! Thank you Bridges staff! You helped make the evening special.

gets an A+ from us in terms of communication. He was in correspondence with us immediately after we toured the venue. She allowed us to come in a few different times to take measurements of the space and discuss decorations. As soon as she knew information regarding restrictions on large gatherings, she called my cell and we discussed options. She gave us different ideas and said that there were willing to work with us whatever option we chose. We chose to reschedule our wedding for 2021. A lot has happened in the last year. Jennifer called me last week again to discuss options. She said that we could go ahead and continue with our scheduled event, we could change the event to be less formal if we chose, or we could cancel and would be refunded our original deposit. Communication is huge for me. I felt like they were willing to work with our needs and budget. I love that Jennifer kept in contact with us and ultimately met our needs. Even though we will not be able to have our event here, I highly recommend!

She is incredibly responsive and communicative and was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. When we originally decided to move our date in the early days of the pandemic, she was so flexible and easy to work with, and when the continuing COVID crisis meant our plans would continue to change, she remained as kind and quick to respond as ever. We had a great experience working with her and would recommend this venue to other couples looking for a kind and communicative vendor with a beautiful outdoor ceremony location and indoor reception space (the new wood floors are beautiful!)

ends tell us that for their wedding at a different venue, they were still going to be charged the minimum amount even if there were only 50 people, I was so nervous about what was going to happen but then we got the call. Jennifer called us from Brides of Poplar Creek and assured us that they understood what was going on and that they would do whatever they could to accommodate us with what we decided to do. They allowed us to maintain our date for 2020 but then also offered to hold a date (at no cost) for 2021! My fiance and I hit the lotto with this place. Jennifer is up to date on the guidelines they are mandated to follow and continued to support us as we took our time deciding what we were going to do. We have finally decided to move our date and Jennifer drew up the new contract and got it to us in no time. Honestly, she made it so much easier for us to make this decision because it definitely was not easy. If you have not seen this venue in person, you need to go check it out. I am very picky and was looking for a place that did not have carpet. If you look at their old photos you see what the upstairs used to look like, it was beautiful but it had carpet. I was going to not even check out this venue but my mom saw that they updated their floors and now it is wood flooring. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Having both inside and outside ceremony options, you could not ask for a better place. I cannot wait to continue working with Jennifer and her crew as the countdown to our new wedding date continues. I will post a new review after our wedding happens next September. CHECK OUT BRIDGES OF POPLAR CREEK, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

nervous. From the moment I walked into the outdoor area I was warmly greeted and I instantly felt more comfortable. One of the buttons on the grooms suit fell off and Jennifer made sure that it was sewn on. I had some free time and I walked around. Let me tell you, this outdoor area was impeccable. They even had coy fish in the pond! The ceremony went by with ease. Soon after we all were invited upstairs for the reception. I'd consider myself an amateur foodie and the meal that I had was the best I've EVER had for a wedding! I can't tell you how mouthwatering it was. The room was beautifully decorated and lit. My water was always being filled and my dirty dishes were instantly cleaned away. The bartenders were amusing and even introduced me to a new cocktail. Would I ever consider having my wedding and or reception at The Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club? You bet! Would you be satisfied by having your wedding and or reception here as well? I guarantee it!

The food was delicious, drinks were good, and the ceremony space looked beautiful in mid-September. This was our favorite vendor to work with . you may recall the wedding ceremony was due to start at 5:00 pm. At 4:50 a thunderstorm swept through but passed quickly. We thought the ceremony would have to go indoors. The wedding ceremony resumed outside at 5:20 and we started cocktail hour at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00. Well done!!!

The day went so smoothly and Jennifer made sure everything was taken care of and our day was everything we hoped for. We were also so amazed of how quick they were to pack up all of our stuff to take home the next day. We barely lifted a finger for clean up. Best place ever to celebrate the best day of your life!!! As all weddings do, we ran into some problems such as it began to storm right before the ceremony and all the staff was so accommodating to make sure that my sister still got to have her dream wedding outside and after the storm passed quickly they cleaned up all the chairs like it had never happened . We also forgot the flower petals for the flower girl and Jennifer the wedding coordinator was beyond a goddess and helped us solve that problem as well we had nothing to worry about because Jennifer and the staff did everything to make this day perfect for my sister. There are two rooms for the bridesmaids to get ready as well and both were very nice there were bottles of champagne fruit and cheese platters waiting when we got there to get ready . The food was amazing from the meatball appetizers to the 8oz. Filets (which they graciously accommodated me by cooking mine well done- because I’m that person lol) to the late night pizza. The service was excellent. The bartenders were friendly and quick & did a great job & made excellent drinks. The wedding photos that we took on the golf course for the bridal party look like a vogue magazine photo shoot because it is just so naturally beautiful - the greenery, plants, flowers & on a bridge over water. The venue was easy to find for out of town guests being close to highway and 2-3 hotels, I hop & chilis, less than 5 minutes away. Even after the wedding there was a large staff that helped us collect all sign boards, extra wedding favors, gifts, etc and packed it all up safely to pickup the next day. I couldn’t say that there is anything that could’ve done better. My sister is still glowing to this day with happiness. Thank you Jennifer and the staff at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club for making this a perfectly special day!!!

She is very good at her job and always managed to put us at ease. The other staff members were friendly and did their jobs well. The bartenders were fast in providing drinks for the guests. The food was good. We had a wonderful experience!!

It ended up raining the time frame I was supposed to walk down the aisle, Jennifer encouraged me to wait it out for 15 minutes until it passed. Her and her staff dried off all the chairs outside and made sure everything looked perfect. I was so grateful for all the hard work their entire team put into my special day. They let us take the golf carts by the bridge to take pictures, those pictures ended up being my favorite with the beautiful scenery. I would defiantly recommend using Popular Creek to get married at. Thanks again to Jennifer and her staff members making our wedding day so perfect!

address any concerns we had. The ceremony area is perfect for an outdoor wedding and well maintained. The kitchen staff and Chef Sergio were able to accommodate the dietary needs of our guest without issue. To this day everyone says how great the food was. The best part for me, was that they are able to host a full 8-piece band in the reception area. I can’t thank the staff enough for helping to create a perfect night for my wife and I.

Anything we needed, she did for us, and she was always prompt in answering all our emails, and most of all she was pleasant..Our guests loved the outdoor ceremony and thought it was gorgeous as well as loved having the cocktail hour outside. We were blessed with great weather that day as well. Our bartenders, Kathy and Sharon were fun! The staff was great to work with and Jenny didn't miss a beat on the day of the wedding or setting up for it! Our guests loved the food and we were very impressed with it as well. We had chicken and steak and the steak was cooked perfect! I am so glad we chose the Bridges of Poplar Creek for both our ceremony and reception. The pictures came out beautifully and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a romantic and beautiful ceremony and a wedding coordinator who is very attentive to your needs.

Jennifer was instrumental in shaping our day into everything we wanted & more. We had initially planned for our wedding to be outside but booked the Fairway Room as our indoor backup. Due to cold/rainy weather we had our ceremony inside and our cocktail hour in the reception room, but every single detail was so incredibly beautiful so I really didn’t mind. My guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful and elegant everything looked. All of the food was amazing (I’m still dreaming about the chicken poulette) and our banquet captains and bartenders went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. I also loved that we were able to drop off all of our props and decor used for the ceremony and reception a few days before our wedding and pick them back up the day after our wedding. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough and wish I could give them 10 stars.

From the very beginning of the planning stages, Jennifer was friendly and accommodating. This only increased as time went on, as she quickly and willingly answered the many, many questions of a bride-to-be. The Poplar staff set the ceremony space and reception room beautifully to our floorplan. The spaces themselves are lovely, especially the outside ceremony area. We really appreciated their flexibility, as we had the option to relocate the ceremony and cocktail hour inside in case of weather up until just a few hours beforehand. Nothing but wonderful things to say about Bridges of Poplar Creek. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, accommodating, low-stress ceremony and reception.

She worked with us from beginning to end with quick responses to emails and questions, helpful input and other planning from our cake to our rehearsal. Our wedding day was more beautiful than either of us expected. We had our ceremony outside and the setting was perfect. Jennifer also had a backup space inside ready to go in case of bad weather but luckily we didn’t have to go that route. The grounds made for amazing photos with the bridal party. Our reception was held inside with plenty of space for roughly 160 guests and decorated beautifully. I would highly recommend future couples to have their wedding here.

We were able to bring in our decorations the week of the wedding and the room was completely set up upon our arrival-not one thing out of place. Our ceremony started promptly at 5pm without any missteps from the staff. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful with no need for additional flowers or decorations. Throughout our cocktail hour and reception, Jennifer and the banquet captain were outstanding. The food was served piping hot with generous portions. We had a split menu and each guest got served exactly what they ordered! At the end of the night we were told that we could come back the next day to pick up all of our things-that made the night so much easier and stress free. Overall our day was absolutely perfect, all thanks to Jennifer and her staff. If I could I would give Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club 10 Stars!!! From the pricing to Jennifer, the banquet captain, and their entire staff to the venue overall...it was the most perfect day!!!

Bridges of Poplar Creek is also very accommodating with dietary restrictions, which was very important for our wedding as we had many guests with food allergies. The food at our reception was delicious and many of our guests commented on how good the food was. The only reason I am not giving Bridges of Poplar Creek 5 stars is because the staff threw our cake topper away after they cut the cake. Fortunately, my maid of honor noticed that we did not have the cake topper and demanded that the staff dig through the garbage to find it. We did get it back, but I was upset that it happened in the first place. If you get married here, definitely assign someone to keep track of your cake topper, cake cutting set and toasting flutes! Otherwise, you might not get them back. I understand that mistakes happen, but the cake topper is typically a keepsake and the staff should have asked if we wanted it before making a decision on their own to throw it away. My husband and I had our cake topper custom designed and had no intention of throwing it away. Other than the cake topper incident, our wedding was great and we would still recommend Bridges of Poplar Creek!

I think I emailed her hundreds of times leading up to the wedding and she always responded promptly and was always willing to help. It was unseasonably HOT for our wedding and Jennifer did everything she could to make it more comfortable for everyone. They are reasonably priced and all around just great. From day one she made me so comfortable, at ease, and worry-free about my special day. Jennifer made sure we had planned both an outdoor wedding as well as indoor back up plan in case of unfavorable weather. Even as the wedding day was fast approaching Jennifer made anything and everything, no matter how difficult or extravagant a change, possible. As far as the food, service, atmosphere along with the entertainment, I would give it all a 5-star rating. I was actually so impressed with this venue that I forwarded and recommended it to three of my friends that were soon to be married within the next year. Hands down the most impressive, elegant and wonderful venue in the northwest suburbs. Without Jennifer my big day would not have been possible.

One thing I loved was the waiters brought in food and champagne to the bridal suit without asking! This place is beautiful and they really try to make your day the best they can! e. We bothered her for a few tastings and many different add-ons to our special day. She was courteous and flexible to make the requests possible. We asked for a special red wine and she worked with their vendors to find it. We were able to bring in special Italian pastries (from local licensed bakeries) that helped make it a special day. Pictures were taken around the golf course and at the stunning gazebo. We couldn't have had better weather for our outdoor cocktail hour. This place is a hidden gem. Food is amazing! People are still talking about the food. Book them. You will not regret it.
