I've been to a small handful of "Barn Weddings" , however the Bridle Barn and Gardens takes the cake. I had the privilege of attending their last event of the year today and it was great despite the colder weather. Staff was extremely friendly, funny and most of all helpful throughout the entire day. They have golf carts to help move guests who might otherwise have an issue getting from point A to B. The views are tremendous especially at sunset and when the sun goes down you can see every star. I highly recommend.
Love the layout of the property, and aesthetic of the barn. Staff was so kind, and everything was so pretty.
I don’t usually leave reviews. But this place is worth it. Beautiful setting and so pretty at night.
Had so much fun! Beautiful venue and the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. Owner pam is so kind and helpful.
10/10 amazing! Attended an event here and everything was amazing. The staff were professional, super friendly, and extremely helpful. Venue is stunning with all the gardens and views. Pam and Robin are amazing as well. 1000% recommend you have an event here.
Couldn’t say enough about how impressed I am with this venue!!! Just stunning and the owners were beyond accommodating in hosting such a special evening for our family. The grounds are so well maintained and staff helpful. I see the only negative reviews are about rules which is surprising because this is set by Dane County and was well communicated to us beforehand! If you’re looking for a beautiful barn in the country look no further!
Truly, a one-of-a-kind, special place. Cannot recommend enough. We attended two separate events at The Bridle Barn - and everything was beyond perfect. From the staff to the immaculate physical spaces and gardens.
Important to note: while the staff work hard to ensure all needs and wants are met, the owners are incredibly responsible when it comes to abiding by Dane County rules for outdoor events. We really appreciated the direct guidance and their hands-on approach to helping wrap everything up in a timely fashion so that we didn’t receive noise complaints or worse. Unfortunately, some parties may not understand normal state ordinances/local rules and end up taking advantage of the staff.
We hope to come back soon!
Not a very good experience. Staff was intimidating and while the dance portion of the reception was suppose to be done at 10:45 which seemed very early, the owner made the DJ turn down the music significantly at around 10 making it hard to dance with such quiet music. Owner was very rude to myself and other guests. Venue also threatened to throw away belongings of the bride and groom while they were getting ready for their big day.
Pam and Robin are absolutely wonderful and worked with us through all of the changes and uncertainties 2020 brought. They made our tiny ceremony feel perfect and we're so excited to host our party with them next year!
Bridle Barn was a beautiful venue. It is well kept and such a wonderful place to get married. The whole staff is on top of it and is super helpful. They have everything you need. My only problem with it is that it's not heated. I assumed it was heated because it was never mentioned before, and that should be something disclosed on the website. However, there isn't any, so be aware of that if you book an October wedding, your guests might be cold!
Very nice setting, pretty at night, well kept gardens, and spacious barn. However, there were too many rules regarding what you cannot do during set up, the day itsslf, and tear down. All are designed for the convenience of the owner and staff, and with little consideration for the family and what they have to cope with on the day, and value for money. Many of these things are not clear during the sales process or the planning.
We were married here this July and had a fantastic time with the BBG staff and location. They really know their stuff and they made the day go flawlessly. They helped us coordinate with our vendors on timing and where things were go. They were great with guiding our guests where to go and when to be there. I was completely at ease with the timing of our events because the staff just knew what to do! They were incredibly great to work with and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an outdoor wedding in the Madison area. :)
Everything about this venue is pure perfection! Not only is the property jaw dropping but the owner and staff are phenomenal, they are personable and do everything in their power to make your day go flawlessly. The best part is that your guests will also enjoy the venue. Bonus- they offer a ton of decor at no charge!!!
Living out-of-state, my husband and I selected BBG after reading online reviews and sending my parents out to view the venue in the dead of winter. They toured a few other similar venues in the area, but were completely won over by Pam's personal passion for this gorgeous space. My husband and I finally had the opportunity to view the space that spring and Pam went above and beyond to validate our decision to select BBG as our wedding venue. With a 21-month engagement, we had a long planning runway and Pam was incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions about preferred vendors, ideas about setup on the ground and in the barn, and was accommodating to our wedding weekend needs - with vendors, bridal party, etc. making multiple trips out to the venue. With unpredictable weather on the day of our wedding, her staff were incredibly flexible - moving our ceremony indoors. And when our catering company was short staffed, the BBG staff was more than happy to lend a helping hand. I can't imagine how challenging it is to maintain such a beautiful venue, and Pam does a great job in ensuring all the details are squared away before your big day. BBG not only provided a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and reception - but allowed us the flexibility to choose our own vendors that best suited our wedding day vision.
