If you're someone who's a bit type A like me, then having carole and mina on your team will be the best decision of your life! They have always responded to my emails promptly and have hopped on zoom calls with me whenever I needed them! Their responses are never vague and are always detailed and well thought out. Everything about their process is very streamlined. And being a bride, you're also constantly making changes, and they have always accommodated me. Where they absolutely really shine is the day of coordination. A huge shoutout to Ashia and mari for helping me get through the day. They were ALWAYS on top of things. Your wedding day is going to be so hectic but they always seem to be one step ahead of everything and they always seem to be right next to you when you needed them. Their EQ is exceptional, always being able to "read me" and know exactly what I need and when I need it. When I'm needing water and food because I may have drank a bit too much, BOOM, I have water and food right next to me. They know when to push you and when to stand back.
Literally, everything went exactly how I envisioned it on my wedding day. I don't even remember any "fires" happening.
But I know with an event this big, there were probably "fires" in the background happening that I wasn't even aware of BUT because they were just ON TOP OF IT .... I never even had to be aware of it. And this is what you want for your wedding day when your mind is going to be so preoccupied with PEOPLE. You're going to want a team behind you that will make sure your logistics are handled so you can jump into being the guest of honor.

up, as they always do with weddings, she solved every single one of them. The best part was that I (as the bride) was never required to spend a single second on any decision making or logistics handling the day of, and was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding day.
She had huge safety pins to fix my bustle when it snapped, she had Tylenol for bridesmaids that had drank a little too much the night before, she thought of everything! When our rehearsal dinner/party venue cancelled on us with only a weeks notice, she personally found a replacement and connected us, even though it was not in her contract to support rehearsal dinner/party needs.

I blame the chaos of the 2021 wedding season, but a couple of issues came up before the big day. ng that really struck me was Carole NOT trying to upsell me (we all know how expensive weddings can be and it seems like someone is always trying to sell you something bigger). I was trying to figure out it I wanted a month of coordination or a little more hands on, and after running through everything, SHE told me that I had so much already figured out that month of coordination would be plenty! Even though I did month of, she was there every step of the way to help me stay on track (and talk me off ledges), send vendor suggestions when needed, and made the whole wedding planning process so much easier. About 6 weeks before, I met, Michelle, who would be my day-of, on-site coordinator and she was equally as nice, professional, and on top of it! If something went wrong day of, I had no idea. Michelle was there to check up on me often, even while pulling everything together. She was fantastic. After the wedding, the whole team also texted me any pictures they took, which I loved! It was such a great experience working with this team, I can't recommend them enough!

Add in the challenges with Covid restrictions (which she was very helpful with), and you have a very stressful situation that Carole made so much more manageable. She was involved from the very beginning by recommending vendors and reviewing contracts before we signed. She was available for calls every couple of months whenever we were unsure about an aspect of the wedding. As the wedding approached, she reached out to vendors and reminded us about vendor deadlines. The day of the event went off flawlessly. Carole handled all vendors, organization of people, the start of the event, the timeline, and cleanup at the end of the night.

When we were undecided between two, she was helpful in detailing the cost differences and negotiate with the venue on dates and booking.
After we secured the wedding, they made sure we were on track for every small detail, from invitations to florals. They helped us select vendors and even helped us negotiate lower prices for our wedding photographer. Our wedding venue required more work with renting chairs, tables, power generators, toilets, etc but Carole's team made sure everything was accounted for with a detailed timeline and vendor walk through. Since we were planning from a distance, they accepted packages for us and Facetimed us when we asked. It was such huge peace of mind.
On the day of the wedding, everything went by perfectly. Carole has such a calming presence and we are so grateful for her even keeled, thoughtful personality. Everything was so thoughtfully planned, including making sure we had some private time after our ceremony to reflect. They helped accommodate every request, and if anything went wrong, I had no idea. Carole directly contacted several of her recommended vendors directly (rental companies, shuttle companies) and placed our order. She met us several times at the venue during the process. Her suggestions regarding the timeline were spot on and she cheerfully revised and re-revised both the timeline and floor plan many times. A week before the wedding she proactively suggested we change Shuttle companies because of a bad experience she unexpectedly had. Carole always responded promptly and fully to all emails. We met with them several times coming up to the wedding to go over details, and Leah was always manning the emails, taking care of every last thing. bunch of friend's weddings I knew what I was looking for in the wedding and had a lot of things put in place already. I got a lot of my vendors prior to hiring Bright Blue and knew that I needed a "month of" planner to carry things the rest of the way.
I found her team through Wedding Wire when my initial planner fell through. I spoke with a few people and after talking to her on the phone, I knew the search was over. I met her in person about seven weeks to the wedding and it was nice to know someone else was looking over things. For the vendors I didn't have, or hadn't thought about - they made recommendations. Carole and Leah were extremely communicative and responsive - we had so many email threads going to make sure that every question was answered and every concern addressed. Even when I flip flopped on an ides or two, they rolled with it.
She also helped bustle my dress so my maid of honour didn't have to struggle with it. She made sure all the vendors were taken care of, and nothing was out of place that I could see, or that I heard of afterwards. Her value was beyond what we gave her team.
At the end of the weekend, when I as looking for random bits - veil, etc or things i had lost track of, Carole and her team had loaded EVERY SINGLE THING into our car or the best man's car. I wish I could have given her another hug just for that.
