I stopped by her studio in Torrance a few weeks before my wedding to purchase a beautiful floral hair clip (which was the ONLY one that perfectly matched my vision after searching for several countless nights). During that visit, she also worked with me on color matching hair extensions to my hair color to better prepare for the big day. On my wedding day, Rena and her team were top-notch! They were punctual and fully prepared, even with our hotel's crazy parking restrictions. Three of my bridesmaids got their makeup done and all 6 BM + MOH got their hair done, and Rena & her team got everyone looking amazing with time to spare! Talk about a stress-free way to start off your wedding day, right? My friends have had prior experiences as BMs in other weddings and they were extremely impressed with Rena and her team's ability to work so efficiently yet do such a beautiful job on everyone's hair & makeup. Overall, Rena did a wonderful job of ensuring that she fulfilled all my hair & makeup needs for my wedding, and I would recommend her and her team to anyone with no hesitation! probably won't cover all of the reasons that I highly recommend their services. The entire team is responsive and professional from the very first introductory call to the very last touch-up. Lily and Yuko were working with a diverse group of women and everyone looked flawless. The bride especially looked stunning and Lily did a fantastic job of working with her all day especially during touch-ups. We never had to ask for anything to be done, Lily would just step in wherever she saw something that needed to be adjusted or touched-up and would take care of it. Her attention to detail really showed in the photos and the bride's styling looked as good at the end of the day as it did in the beginning! I would happily work with Bright Crystal for any future styling needs.

She was constantly checking in to make sure I felt good and asked if I wanted to make any changes, which I appreciated. My bridesmaids and family also loved their hair and makeup! about wedding makeup since I tend to look older with lots of makeup due to my skin texture and face features. I did a trial with Rena before my wedding. She was easy to talk to and reliable to ask for opiniones which helped me a lot since I had no idea what to do. During the trial, she counseled me and only I requested was natural makeup. She first put pink gold based eye shadow since my wedding dress was Champaign pink. I asked her if there is any other color option. Rena was very flexible to let me try orange based eye makeup since my wedding bouquet was sunflower. On the day of the wedding, I decided to do orange based eye makeup and I loved it! As I requested, it was very natural yet it embraced the beauty of what I have. I was also surprised how foundation can look so light but covers skin very well. Hair was perfect as well and it lasted for all day long without fixing! (From 12pm to 12am). My mom also loved her makeup and hairstyle for her Kimono. I highly recommend Rena for any special events!

wedding venues which resulted in changing of times which required the artists to meet with us earlier. Rena was able to work with our schedule without any issues or headache. Her team was punctual and did such a great job on all my family members!

ularly, and went for a half up hairstyle. I did a trial first a few weeks prior, and it came out great - I was beyond happy with it! But on the actual wedding day, it turned out even better than the trial! My hair is thin, extremely straight, and doesn’t hold a curl well, but she made my hair look voluminous, and the curls lasted much longer than I expected. Yuko showed up early, and was very accommodating to staying a little bit to ensure our photographer captured her doing my makeup at the end. I cannot praise and thank Yuko enough for how wonderful she is!

Her prices are fair, the makeup and hair she does is exactly what you ask for, her and her team arrived on time (early actually to get set up), and were insanely nice and understanding of all my girls needs and concerns. The makeup Rena did for me was natural-looking, but full coverage (exactly what I requested) and I never looked or felt prettier in my entire life, but I still looked 100% like ME. That's how everyone should feel on their wedding day. A huge reason I chose her besides her great hair/makeup reviews was things people said about her personality. I knew on my big day I would be nervous so I didn't want anyone with a personality too crazy/talkative to make me anxious or feel like I had to converse for the full 1-2hrs of getting my hair/makeup done. I needed that time to breathe and relax. I also didn't want a personality too quiet to make me feel shy/nervous. Rena is like your long lost friend. Easy to talk to, easy to connect with. If you don't want to talk, she doesn't bug you. If you want to chat for the full 2 hours, she'll chat with you. That was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed just before walking down the aisle. I 100% recommend Rena and her team and will hire her again for any makeup/hair I need done. 6 stars

s and I went to their studio for a trial. The day of, I was honored to work with Yuko and Maki. They both came on time with their own chairs, surge protectors, and tools. They had such happy and friendly personalities! They are so talented too; all my bridesmaids loved their hair. The two mothers are also very picky and they couldn't have been happier with their hair. Yuko did my hair and I was so surprised that NOTHING HURT! at the end of the day, i didn't have any aches or painful bobby pins!!! This is a great team

You're in good hands with Rena - she has a gift of achieving natural looks that are durable and strong enough for photo/video lighting. My family and bridesmaids had the same concern as well, and were all happy with how their makeup turned out. [Concern #2] I'm Chinese, so I wanted someone who knows how to work with Asian features (e.g. not pile eye shadow on top of my eyelids). Rena nailed it. [Trial] Do a lot of research on what you want before the hair and makeup trial so you can use the time to refine the look. If something doesn't look/feel right, tell Rena. She's incredibly patient and will work with you until you're happy. [Day of] Rena and her team showed up right on time and even finished ahead of schedule, which helped us stay on track overall. It was disgustingly hot on the day of my wedding--over 100 degrees and humid--and my makeup and hair still looked great at the end of the evening (even though I had been sweating all day)!

o replicate the hairstyle photos I showed her, and made my hair look even prettier than the photos I showed her :D Her makeup skills don't make you look like a different person with heavy caked on makeup. You still look like yourself, but a more elegant version. My engagement photo shoot was by the water and it was so windy outside. My hair held up so well in the strong wind. Somehow Rena was able to keep the hairstyle looking soft and natural, but tough against the wind! On my wedding day, Rena and her stylist arrived at our venue on time, quickly setup, and got to work! The thermostat was broken in the room where we got ready, so it was freezing cold inside. Rena plugged in a few hair dryers and placed them on the ground to help warm up our feet, and gave me some hot hair rollers to hold to keep my hands warm. Our wedding ceremony was outside on a hot August afternoon but despite the heat and perspiration, my airbrush makeup held up so well! I didn't need to touchup anything all day. She provided me with a little kit with hairspray, extra lip color, and oil blotting paper before she left. Prices are very fair. Rena was excellent with communication/texting/emails, always super friendly and responds quickly. She even sent me a message the night before the wedding to "sleep well tonight!". Thank you so much, Rena!

I also hired Rena to do a touch up after the reception (cause there's a huge chance that I'll cry and ruin my makeup)... But she went above and beyond. When everything was getting crazy, she helped me with my wedding dress and waited until I walk down the aisle (really really went above and beyond). After the ceremony, there was a little time left (and we should leave the chapel), but Rena works very well under pressure. She's very composed and organized. I would love to work with you again and will definitely recommend to my friends.
