Hi! My name is Julian Smith and I am your go-to guy if you are wanting to re-live your wedding day through a short film. I have been filming weddings for 5+ years now and I think it is safe to say I am only getting better as the years go by.
I have a very unique and creative style of film and something that has really sets Brighter Light Media apart from everyone else is the Digital Gallery that is included in the Romeo and Juliet film package.

We highly recommend hiring Julian for your wedding day! He was amazing to work, professional and FUN! Leading up to the wedding, he took the time to understand our needs and what was most important to us. When we met Julian in person on our wedding day, it felt as though we have known him for years. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, gave direction while also allowing us to be ourselves. Our video(s) turned out amazing and captured our day perfectly. We love having the raw footage to look back on too. 10/10 experience working with Brighter Light Media!
We hired Julian as our videographer for our Wedding on June 7th and we can honestly say it was the best decision we made! He was on time and professional from start to finish! Prior to the wedding, he really took the time to get to know our vision & really cared about making it come to life! He made not only us feel comfortable in front of the camera but our entire bridal party as well. They raved about him! When we had some unforeseen timeline hiccups, Julian remained professional & calm and kept the good vibes going, which is exactly what we needed! He truly cares about the couple beyond just providing a video and we couldn’t be more grateful for his part in our special day!
Our highlight trailer was so incredible and we are still getting so many compliments! If you are looking for a videographer who not only knows what they are doing but also genuinely cares about your happiness & vision, he is your guy!! It was truly the best day ever and we cannot thank Julian enough for bringing our vision to life through your work and making us feel so special on our day! There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Julian’s work is. He blew our wedding video out of the park. Every person who saw our wedding video would tell me it was the best wedding video they have ever seen. To me, the video was just as important as our wedding pictures if not more important. I feel like I am re-living our entire wedding day every time I watch it, and if you had a beautiful day like we did this is a HUGE blessing to have. I recommend Julian Smith to be your photographer, he’s also an awesome videographer. He’s great in any aspect in photography/videography. I would not go back to change anything, he grasped every moment pretty much in every single one of our photos. He’s excellent at his expertise in videography/photography!! If you’re looking for a wedding videographer Brighter Light Media is it!!! Julian was the perfect choice for our day. We met him at the Wilmington wedding expo and from that point forward he communicated with us monthly throughout the planning process and kept us so excited and motivated. A few days before the wedding we had a call where he solidified all the day of details and helped us feel so at ease going into our wedding day. He worked so well with our photographer and never stepped on any toes, they complimented each other perfectly. He’s a great hype man, helped us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and had a full preview to us just a few days after our wedding. Can’t recommend him enough!!!

Julian is as talented as I’ve ever seen in this space. He is creative and has a unique style of editing that truly captures the day. Julian is amazing, talented, organized and is filled with great opinions on what to capture and when to capture it. We had a phone conversation with Julian 2 days before the wedding which allowed for fresh ideas, last minute questions and full of laughter through the conversation about what we expected and ideas Julian had. The day of the wedding, Julian was on time and started working immediately. He would walk in and out while the girls got ready along with the guys and he just made himself feel apart of our wedding party. I recommended only booking with Bright Light Media if you want only the best because he gives his whole heart through these videos. We are blessed to have had him on our wedding and hope to work with him in the future.
