Brightwater Weddings & Events is a beautiful wedding venue in Oregon City, OR. Located near Portland, this event space offers stunning views across 10 gorgeous acres. Between the four-acre lake, pathed forest, and two charming barns, there are plenty of photo opportunities throughout this picturesque venue.
Owner Mark designed Brightwater Weddings & Events with love and care, taking years to meticulously craft a venue that seamlessly blends with the idyllic natural landscape. There are indoor and outdoor options, allowing you and up to 300 guests to celebrate however you’d like. Ceremonies can be held out on the expansive fields overlooking the lake. Afterward, head inside the lower barn, a rustic and elegant location for dinner and dancing. Indoor ceremonies can also be held in this inspired space, which offers impressive views of the lake. With a designated area for a food truck and a catering prep area, you can create a meal to remember. The upper barn is well-suited to smaller parties or can instead be used as a gathering place for your wedding party and guests before the festivities begin.
At Brightwater Weddings & Events, the team works hard to personalize every celebration to meet the unique needs of every couple they host. They’ve built a network of suggested vendors, offering a range of services to bring your specific vision to life. Rental pricing varies depending on the day of the week and season of your event, while private event and off-season rates vary. Above all, they aim to create one-of-a-kind events that your guests will be talking about for years to come.

- Mark HerkampOwnerHello! We are Mark and Kristina, owners at Brightwater Wedding & Events. We not only operate and maintain the property, but we also live on-site, so you can ensure the best of service leading up to, and on your big day. Mark is your first stop. He manages the tours, contracts, and events overall. While I manage the website, social media accounts, wedding expos, and the bar services. Either way, you will only see and or be in contact with either of us. It's a two-man show! Outside of the venue, we enjoy camping, hiking, chasing waterfalls, and exploring this beautiful home state of ours!
