We CANNOT (in good conscience) recommend Brindley Beach Rentals.
Our family reserved and rented the Grande Paradise Beach rental (1903 S. Virginia Dare Trail) in KDH through Brind...
ley Beach. We began our journey by receiving a notification from Brindley Beach) the evening before we arrived stating that the A/C was out on the second floor of the house and no longer cooling that level of the home. We appreciated the notice (albeit last minute), and Brindley Beach stated that they would have someone out to repair it promptly. Thankfully, they did send someone out quickly, but the A/C was not repaired or functioning for 5/7 days of our stay. We would suggest that Brindley Beach ensures the repair of broken appliances (A/C, clothes dryers, DVD player & movie theater equipment, etc.), as well as ensure that cleaning/housekeeping staff actually clean the home prior to new guest arrivals. Upon arrival, there was garbage and wrappers on the floors throughout hallways, countless cockroaches on the floors, in cabinets, closets and pantries, there was old/rotten food in 2/3 refrigerators, and broken glass that was scattered all over around the pool area.
We also paid significantly more ($845.63) in additional to our $6k rental fees for the pool to be heated throughout the duration of our stay in KDH. The pool heater and equipment was not running or operable upon our arrival; a pool repair technician was out at the house after the 2nd day, but did not repair the pump or heater. The poor repair technician came out to work on the pump and heater subsequently, and thought they had repaired it; however, it only worked for part of one day. The pool heater was inoperable for the remaining 6+ days of our stay. To date, we have still not been reimbursed for these “Pool Heat” charges which we did not receive, and that was contractually agreed upon.
**UPDATE (since I wrote a Google review)- Brindley Beach Rentals contacted me the day after I left my review and have now refused to appropriately reimburse our family for the additional pool heating service fees that we did not receive. The pool heater and pump was inoperable for 5+ days out of the 7 days that we paid for.
Will never rent from these guys again. Renter beware. The listing for the house looked great, but when we arrived for our vacation, it was far from good. The house did not have ...
amenities advertised, like a basketball hoop or playground, and the condition of the home was poor in many ways. Specifically, the roof was leaking and dropping drywall and water on the couch, and the railings on the second and third floor decks have loose spindles causing major risk to our children. Unfortunately, Brindley Beach was not proactive to address these items during or after our stay.
We rented a beach house for the week for our guests. There were a ton of things wrong with the place and I spent most of my wedding week worrying and dealing with issues. There was...
mold/mildew in the jacuzzi tub.
I live in Philadelphia and my husband and i are beach lovers. We decided we would do something different other than the Jersey shore and rented a 10 bedroom home in OBX. The house ...
was beautiful and well maintained. The pool cleaners were out 3 times during the week to make sure the pool and hot tubs were clean and ready for the wedding. The staff at Brindley Beach were very helpful and answered all questions i had about finding my way around the area. Can't wait to return next year! Making it a yearly summer vacation!!

und 4pm, we were allowed in the house around noon. Which made us feel like we had the a whole extra day of vacation. The oceanfront house was a gorgeous 8 bedroom, 7.2 bath home. The few minor problems we did have were promptly fixed. The staff we encountered were very friendly, and helpful. Booking the home was easy. Emails were answered promptly. I high recommend Brindley Beach Vacations to anyone. Can't wait to go back next year!

ere not perfect in the house. Many windows or doors missing screens, rust in the dishwasher, stained sofa downstairs. Small details that left me embarrassed and annoyed.

n everything up there. When we had any issues with things with the house we'd call and they would respond immediately. The house was perfect for our wedding in the backyard and was just wonderful all around.
the house and setting were beautiful, there were a few minor things about the house that could use some fixing up.
We hosted our "Pre-Wedding Fiesta" aka Rehersal dinner at Brindley Beach Vacations rental home CD1 A Great Place! They have so many wonderful homes to choose from, but they helped ...
me pick the perfect one for our stay! Great sports bar on Mid level, Beautiful kitchen family room. Friends and family were all very impressed and had a blast. Dogs enjoyed the beach there too! Wonderful home and a great team to work with.
Had my wedding at an event home that I was unable to see before I arrived before the wedding. The home was not in good condition, with paint falling off the walls and most of the ...
things broken in the house. Not very in getting them to try to spray the house either to get rid of the bugs that had infested all of the outside of the house. For the extra money you pay for it to be an event home, the price sure is not worth it.
We rented Ocean Blue in Duck and had the wedding on the beach and the reception in the great room of the house. It was perfect and the rest of the week was relaxing and wonderful!
