David was an amazing DJ for our wedding! He was easy to communicate with, had a great app where we could upload songs and plan out the timeline for the night, and kept the party going. Loved the extra touches like a hidden microphone for the bride and recording the audio from our vows and speeches. We highly recommend David!

Highly recommend Bring on the Night Entertainment! David was amazing. We originally had three different meetings scheduled with different DJs during our planning and we met with David first. We knew he was our guy from the beginning! Didn’t need to meet with the others and signed the contract that night. His process and system is very user friendly — there was an app where we built our playlist for different parts of the evening. He communicated frequently and was always easy to get ahold of. During wedding planning there’s a million things on your mind and working with David made this so much easier. He thought of things we never did, and anything within the general duties or responsibilities of a DJ/MC he was on top of. Transitions throughout the night were flawless. The party was going so great after we extended our time at the venue. He covered everything from dealing with guests trying to make speeches to people trying to play songs we didn’t want. Super personable, professional, and a great guy to help celebrate your big day!

David was extremely accommodating to our needs and flexible when we asked him to make last minute changes like extending our wedding an hour and moving the dance floor. He is very professional but also maintains a calm and fun demeaner. I highly recommend David for any dj'ing event.

David is so much fun to work with, and he was the perfect DJ for our wedding! The first thing we said to David when we met is "we want a dance party at our wedding", and he delivered! He's able to read the room and see which music should be played, or not played! He worked with us for many months leading up to the wedding, and has an app to upload our specific songs onto so he knew exactly what we wanted. He is so wonderful!

David was a blast to work with. He made my husband and I feel truly special, despite having a full summer season of weddings booked. I most appreciated his friendly, easygoing personality and flexibility. He felt like a friend right away, and happily adapted to wedding day changes — like my dad (who is extra, God love him) requesting a 3-song mashup for our father-bride dance. He offered the ideal balance of working with our song requests and making his own helpful suggestions. Everyone commented on how much fun they had dancing. I would definitely book David again!

David was Wonderful giving us ideas and songs on our Ceremony, Cocktail hour, Dinner and then dancing the night away!! He was right on time from our first Dance to the dinner toasts he even recorded my Daughters toast that touched everyone’s heart! We didn’t even have to do anything but enjoy our Special Day! David was awesome from our first contact to post wedding. He was responsive and communicative, as well as up front about pricing, his process, and helpful when we had questions (about anything, even if it wasn’t music related). He gave good advice and worked seamlessly with our coordinator. We did a venue visit and he came with us, he had never been to our venue and wanted to ensure he knew what he was walking into WAY in advance of our wedding. David also stood out because he has a microphone that the bride is able to wear at the ceremony to ensure the sound from all ceremony participants can be heard. Additionally, he recorded the sound from our ceremony and our speeches which was very special since we did not hire a videographer. The dance floor was full all night long and selecting music from the app he uses to plan was super easy. HIRE David if you want a great, well priced DJ and who is a helpful voice in your planning process and keeps the dance floor going late into the night.

Bring on the Night was recommended to us by Gray Bridge Venue as we were looking for someone that was familiar with their venue and would handle sound/audio well. David was communicative with us the entire time from booking to the wedding to post-wedding! He had some great tools that allowed us to easily build our timeline with the music we wanted and/or recommended. We also had a wedding that included a sword fight and he explained, quickly and clearly how we could best utilize the mics so that our voices would be heard through the performance. Before finalized our playlists, we especially loved that David encouraged us to add more personalized music (as we are geeks!) to add to our dance playlist. During the day-of wedding, David was organized, calm, and helpful in keeping things moving alongside our day-of coordinator. He MC’d without issues, played the best of the best of our selected tracks, and made sure we had fun. We could not have imagined our day without him!

David truly went above and beyond to help make our wedding a well-planned and special day. He reached out several times ahead of the wedding for check-in sessions and helped us to plan the day. If I have to summarize David in a phrase, I'd say "above and beyond". Hiring a good DJ was important to us from the start, because one of our priorities was having everyone enjoy the dance floor – and David definitely did that for us. One of our guests said she's never seen such a packed dance floor. We even had songs in other languages that he's not familiar with, but he played them at the best times and everyone loved it. But more than that, he has been friendly, calming, communicative, quick to respond, organized, humble, accommodating, and incredibly hard working throughout the entire process. In addition, he guided our guests before the wedding, led our shoe game and napkin game (both of those were a hit), and brought amazing lighting for the dance floor. I know it's hard to choose a DJ to hire without seeing them perform before, but trust me, he's one of the best ones out there. You won't regret it. Thank you so, so much, David! David is truly an amazing DJ/MC. I was hesitant on having a dj, because I didn’t know if it was important. I am so happy that we hired him! I can now see how crucial he was to our planning, ceremony, and reception. He is professional, talented, and an overall delight to work with. Cannot think of enough good things to say about David. David is a true professional that has passion for making sure every detail you want to address for music and sound at your wedding is exactly how you want it. He is a true veteran that knew exactly all the parts of what our wedding might have, and organized all those parts perfectly, allowing me the freedom to really represent our musical tastes throughout the different parts of the ceremony and reception. His equipment setup was also such that he doesn't rely on any special hookups at a venue, just a power outlet!

It was an awesome experience having David DJ our wedding. From the first meeting through all the meetings in between, David was there checking in on us. He was full of wedding information and incredibly knowledgeable in his field. He was the only DJ we met with who mic’s the bride during the ceremony (which is a great asset to videographers and your guests), it was super easy and discreet. Due to covid times we never met David in person before the wedding, yet we could tell from our meetings that he was someone who cares about us as a couple and would make sure our day goes off without a hitch-which it did. Three wedding dates. A ton of second guessing everything about the wedding. David was supportive, knowledgeable, and professional. The dance floor always had people on it and it was our dream wedding. I highly recommend David for your wedding!

David was great communicating before and during our wedding. He was timely and worked well with our other vendors. We had a last minute change with our dancefloor and ended up wanting it outside. He was able to accommodate the changes without any issue and everyone loved the switch! He played great music all night long and ran microphones/audio. He even sent over audio of our ceremony and speeches, which was great when we didn't have a videographer! Highly recommend Bring on the Night!!

Our music went off without a hitch on wedding day. He made sure the party never stopped and guest were always dancing! He made sure we had the key songs picked out in advanced and had a few check ins throughout the lead up to the wedding. He even has tiny little mics for the bride in groom during ceremony so you won't even notice the mics in pics. I hope to go to a wedding he is dj'ing at so we can dance some more!

BOTN worked very well with us, being a stressed bride with fiancé on deployment, with less than 60 days before the wedding, I was able to somehow instantly trust that David had our best interests in mind. A major thing that stood out to me was the amount of work he put in behind the scenes to make the day go by SO smooth. He arrived before catering and any other venues!! I have heard stories of DJs coming and doing their job and leaving but David made an IMPRESSION. My guests and family all saw the seamless work that happened. We cannot thank him enough!!! You can tell he LOVES what he does and he has a gift for this!

David was fantastic! He showed up super early to get everything set up and going. He made sure to have multiple locations setup for the whole day as the dancing location was not where the reception took place. We got so many compliments and comments about the how awesome the sound was for the ceremony. I’m so glad we didn’t have to hold mics and everyone still heard us. David was outstanding! He was really fun to work with throughout all the planning and enthusiastic about our ideas and vision. We made last minute changes and he rolled with it and ensured that everything ran smoothly. He worked with my mother and my bridal party on surprises, checked in on is throughout the day, and kept people dancing all night.

David was AMAZING. I cannot brag about him enough to everyone. He was in constant communication with us prior to the wedding to ensure we stayed on track with songs. He MC’d the wedding and ensured all guests knew where to go and when. For not having a day of coordinator, this was a tremendous help. For the dance floor, he had lights set up around the tables to “up light” them and lights in his set up. I had a backyard wedding so this made the dancing area feel “real” rather than just out in the field. David kept checking in on us and giving us reminders when tasks were coming up and worked amazingly with our photographer. He even helped us with our processional to ensure the right people came down in the correct order. We don’t have a lot of dancers in either of our families or friends but that didn’t stop him! He was able to keep the music flowing with so much diversity it was great! He even was taking requests from the kids who couldn’t leave the dance floor!!

David was simply amazing! He thought of things my husband I didn’t even think of, was professional and organized, and made the wedding flow perfectly. We had lots of compliments from guests! Couldn’t recommend him enough.

There is honestly nothing we would/could improve about our experience with Bring on the Night Entertainment! David (DJ Protégé) was so great about making sure our ideas/opinions were heard and also gave the greatest insight for how to plan, coordinate and organize our wedding day. Not only did he make sure things went to plan on our wedding day, but each meeting/planning session prior to that was easy to schedule, and most importantly made us certain we had made the right choice from day one! He had a shared google document that allowed us to enter in all the info and details for our day and pick and choose what song were played when-also allowed us to make changes and gave helpful suggestions without taking away from our choices and preferences. As a bride, the organization was SO unbelievably helpful and eliminated any anxieties that typically arise with wedding planning. Not only did David create a kick-ass set list for our whole day, he was a fantastic MC and made sure to get the guests up dancing, engaged and entertained. We would recommend him again and again to anyone who wants to have the most memorable night ever. We were HONORED to have him as our DJ at our wedding!

David is tremendous! Look no further for the perfect DJ. David is personal, professional and will bring your venue to life with lights and his state of the art equipment. We planned our wedding during covid and had to change venues a month before our wedding. He was flexible and extremely helpful on the day of! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

David was a complete professional from start to finish. We had to reschedule because of COVID and David didn’t miss a beat. He was with us every step of the way and when we weren’t sure exactly what music we wanted, he took our preferences and had the perfect playlist. We had multiple guests tell us how they loved every song! During the wedding itself, David was constantly ensuring we had everything we needed. Not just in terms of music, but keeping the evening moving along. He’d check in with toast-givers, making sure they knew when they’d be speaking, showing them how to work the microphone, and so much more. David has perfected his craft and we couldn’t recommend him more! He is the best!

From showing up to the rehearsal with less than 24 hour notice, to parking out front of the venue to save us a spot for the limo, he did absolutely everything he could to make our little pandemic wedding everything we hoped for. He went above and beyond. He responded quickly to every text and call from the anxious bride and was always encouraging. He made sure our day was special! We couldn’t recommend him enough!

Booking the music at a wedding is one of the most important decisions you can make during the planning process. David is someone who you can definitely count on not letting you down. He is punctual, flexible, and most importantly listens to what you want. I'm definitely a hands on bride who had a very clear vision of what music I wanted to have on my wedding day. His online planning tool is perfect for a Type A personality like me. Also, David never told me no. Planning a wedding is hard enough, let alone during a pandemic. Dealing with David never became a burdensome or onerous. David was nothing but supportive during all the set backs during phase restriction changes. While others could have taken advantage, David worked with us to make sure we followed all health guidelines. While he couldn't provide music for a reception (which we had to cancel) he made sure the sound for our wedding was spot on. With social distancing we needed to make sure everyone could hear our vows. Also, I had a very tricky vows that required multiple sound clips to be played. Prior to the wedding, David practiced with me. Come the day of the ceremony, my vows were a big hit. I am SO looking forward to having David DJ our reception when gathering and dancing is safe again.

I hired David at the last minute (about 2 weeks prior to my wedding) because my grandfather insisted we have a DJ and helped us pay for one. It was just good fortune that David happened to be available and helped us pull together a great event, even suggesting an anniversary dance during a planning call that was an adorable touch to the day. He also provided us with recording with all the important audio (ceremony & speeches) which I'm so grateful for. All the music was perfect, and once the dancing portion of the evening began the floor was nearly always packed lulls mostly caused by desperate needs to catch ones breath. All in all I couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Working with David was absolutely fantastic. It was a personal meeting, a real feeling out process, not a sterile pitch session with a sales manager. He coordinated with the other vendors so well that I literally didnt have to worry about him at all, he had everything done and perfect. David was great, he gave great music recommendations for down the aisle and kept us on each cue. He mic-ed is for our ceremony so we were easy to hear and was able to move his set up easily from the ceremony space to our dance floor. He was great at reading the audience and knew exactly what songs to play at what times. As the bride I kept asking “just one more song!” Because we were having so much fun and didn’t want to leave. 20/10 recommend David, he’s kind and accommodating. Ps I never write reviews but this guy is easy to rave about.

David was the best DJ/MC I have ever experienced! I got to know him from my friend's wedding. He is very personable, easy to work with, and knowledgable on all types of songs. David started me with a package of recommended songs, so that I can easily navigate through the songs we want. I contacted him a year before my wedding, from beginning to the end, he has been working with us closely, and tirelessly. David always show up early(meetings, rehearsal, wedding), prompt on answering questions, always working above and beyond for our wedding. I don't know if I can have any better DJ/MC experience than David. Even after the wedding, we felt like we become friends. If you are looking for someone reliable, friendly, professional, and always exceed your expectation, I would highly recommend David as your next wedding DJ/MC.

From start to finish, David was nothing short of amazing! He was excellent at communicating with us, answered phone calls and e-mails promptly, and was a wealth of information along the way. We did not have a wedding coordinator and David was gracious enough to step in and advise us on decisions we weren't confident about-which was a lifesaver! We worked with David Baker (DJ Protege) and I am so happy that we chose him to DJ our wedding. He always had a positive attitude and you can tell that he truly cares about his clients. He always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and everything was going to plan. On our wedding day, David mic’d me up with a super thin microphone the size of a grain of rice (so cool!) and also mic’d up my husband so that he could capture the audio from our big day which he sent us about an hour after our ceremony which was really awesome. He made sure to play all the songs we wanted to hear and got everybody dancing. David was one of our favorite vendors to work with and we absolutely made the right choice!

David Baker, Bring on the Night Entertainment, was a hit at our wedding. Seriously, we received compliments regarding his work and music. In addition, he was very, very easy to work with in the prep and planning stages prior to our event, and in particular, made suggestions to me that I might not have thought of myself -- suggestions that definitely enhanced the success of our wedding. I highly recommend him!

First off, let me say his price is totally all inclusive. There’s no hidden fees and that sticker price he has on there Is not deceiving. You will get more then you pay for. I’ve looked at others in the past to help friends at events and often the cheaper price doesn’t include the little fees they like to charge later on. Lol. Dj Protege is totally a good deal. His price is way fair and undercharged in my opionion. My review : I’m lucky, because I knew David BEFORE I got engaged. As soon as I was proposed to I Messaged him right away to secure him. I reached out over a year and a half to make sure my date could be saved! I was desperate, lol, because I wanted to specifically use him. If you knew him, you would do the same! He’s HILARIOUS! And intuitive and gets you and gets what you want and he’s just on it. He was pretty much an addition to my wedding coordinator, honestly he worked side by side with my other vendors like it was meant to be. You don’t want a boring ass DJ for anything. You are hiring someone because you want it done right, you want it done good and you want everyone to have fun... his equipment is advanced and so are his skills. You hear every crystal-clear. When it comes to hearing the important stuff in your life ( like wedding vows and speeches, you know.... the important stuff ) later on, you will be so grateful. I got all my audio recordings before I was even able to take my dress to the dry cleaners. Honestly, this guy is on top of it and I can’t recommend him more. His picture is all chill looking, but he gets all dressed up in wedding attire in a beautiful white shirt and tie and looks super sharp ( if that’s the occasion) and he’s just so good. I’m not biased, I’m just educated and I know he’s so good! Happy wedding or whatever you are planning in your life! I hope all goes well.

David, AKA DJ Protege, was everything we could have asked for and more. First off, he's a hilarious guy, and it's really easy to like him, which is just icing on the cake. David is very well organized, and everything about the day that needs music, a microphone, or MC-ing he has detailed in a planning document. If you need suggestions for music or if you have general questions about how something should work, he has excellent recommendations. He really sold us with examples of what he's done for other weddings and events, giving us tips on what order makes sense to help ensure the flow of events made sense. And the wedding was absolute perfection! He had mic'd up our officiant, my husband, and myself, and everyone heard us perfectly during the ceremony. The dinner and reception music was spot on - we had specific requests in there, and he catered the rest to match our music preferences perfectly. He also helped decorate the venue with uplighting and it looked fantastic! David made planning a breeze by being so organized and having answers to all of our questions. If he asked us questions that we didn't have answers for, he'd offer helpful suggestions. He absolutely delivered, ensuring we had a perfect and beautiful ceremony, and making sure we and all of our guests had one hell of a night.
