’ve been to plenty of weddings where the DJ thinks it’s their show and can try to make it about themselves, Matt does an incredible job of making sure the day stays solely about you. He does a great job keeping the pace moving according to your specified timeline, he plays any and all songs you tell him to (or not to), he has great sound equipment and lighting, uplighting included in his cost, and his price is beyond reasonable. If you’re reading this review and are at all worried you’re going to “get what you pay for” because his price is so reasonable compared to most other DJ’s, I can assure you that with Matt, you will not be disappointed in your decision to go with him. Definitely highly recommend.

The planning was super thorough and straightforward, Matt gave good suggestions and asked about little details we didn't even consider. Matt was also communicating with all the other vendors in advance. The day of, he did not disappoint! The sound for our outdoor wedding was great, even with an impending thunder storm. He was very communicative with the caterer and with us to make sure everything kept moving. He absolutely got the vibe with our music, and the lighting on the dance floor was INCREDIBLE. I really cannot stress how great our experience was, and the value of services for what you pay is pretty unbelievable. If we could, we would hire Brite House to DJ our life.

e during the planning process. The packages he offers are really great and BEYOND affordable, but the low cost really doesn't impact the quality of his service. It just goes to show that things don't have to be pricey to be amazing. My husband is a certified audio engineer, so the quality of sound was really important to us. Too many times we've been to weddings where the speakers are just pushing out music and it feels aggressive. Matt's setup was professional and well put together. There was no feedback, no distortion, the music wasn't too loud or too soft --- it was absolutely perfect. Matt creates a GoogleSheet for you to work off of and all all your "must play" and "do not play" music and he stuck to it for our big day. Even the songs we did not specifically request matched the vibe of all the songs that we did. He was amazing at reading the crowd and giving us what we wanted. There were no cheesy gimmicks or silly games to get people involved -- just good quality music and a well organized DJ was enough to get people dancing. We had a ceremony site that was hundreds of feet away from the reception site, and did not have any power hookups. This was no problem for Matt as he was still able to get sound and power out to our site. Our JP had a lapel mic and the speakers were placed so that everyone could hear. Our cocktail hour and reception were pretty much in the same space, but Matt had 2 setups to ensure the music would be heard wherever the guests were instead of just relying on upping the volume in one space and hoping it would travel to the other. We have ZERO complaints about how Matt and his team worked and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ. Thank you Matt for making our day as special as could be!

He spoke with us multiple times throughout the process and helped us to customize the songs for our ceremony and reception. He also provided uplighting for the ceremony AND background music before the ceremony and during cocktails, all at the same low price. Matt took our tastes into account and perfectly timed all of the music, even starting the song for my entrance at the exact second I requested! He was never overwhelmed or upset, always friendly. He was also great at the reception, where he was great with our guests, taking requests and keeping the party alive. I'd highly recommend anyone using Matt, as he's a great and non-cheesy option that you won't regret in years to come!

he guest have a great time. We used Brite House DJ for both our ceremony and reception and they really made it wonderful. Both the ceremony and reception was outdoors, but with their impressive equipment everyone was able to hear the music and any speaking that was done. They provided speakers, microphones, and lights (all of which is setup/taken down by them). On top of just standard DJ services, Matt really personalized it for us. He had a document we went through together and helped us see what we needed to figure out. He has a link that you can send your guest where they can request songs before the wedding and he'll try to fit them all in. He also had a huge selection of songs, was able to customize a song for us to make it long enough to do the whole dance, and was even able to find foreign songs that the Russian/Ukrainian side of the family wanted to hear/dance to. It was awesome :) We don't know of another DJ with as much experience and as much to offer for such a great price. If you're thinking of hiring Brite House DJ we would definitely recommend it!
