I planned a backyard wedding and was immediately drawn to Britt’s style when I was looking for photographers. I wanted photos that conveyed the nostalgia and sentimentality of host...
ing a wedding in my parents’ backyard, and that were shot in a relaxed, documentary style. Everything I was looking for was reflected in Britt’s portfolio, and she has done many backyard weddings, which made me feel very comfortable hiring her. As I looked through the different weddings Britt shot, her pictures evoked so much emotion, even though these other couples were strangers to me. I couldn’t imagine how it would feel to have my own wedding photos taken by her. Now that we received our gallery, the first word that comes to mind is “breathtaking.” She did such incredible work. While her talent speaks for itself, Britt was also such a pleasure to work with and was very communicative throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was also such a kind and calming presence on the wedding day. My husband and I don’t usually take great pictures together and we feel unnatural in front of the camera, but somehow, Britt was able to manage, make us feel comfortable, and took incredible photos. Britt, thank you again, we will treasure your pictures for the rest of our lives!
Britt could not be more wonderful to work with!! She instantly felt like a friend the minute we met and delivered insanely beautiful engagement and wedding photos. We continually g...
et compliments on her photos from our wedding day, and on how she was able to disappear into the background of the day and yet still able to capture even the smallest moment. Her photos bring the day to life again and again for us. If you are looking for a photographer who is thoughtful, talented, and has an eye for capturing the most special moments, Britt is the perfect choice.
BOOK BRITT! She is a phenomenal photographer and an equally amazing human. I must have reached out to 30 photographers during my initial search, and she stuck out to me right away....
Britt is so easy to talk to, provides honest advice on all aspects of the wedding planning process, and was so professional the day of our wedding. She took charge to make sure everyone was where we needed to be, but she also kept such a calm demeanor the entire time. And her photos? Incredible. I told her initially that I wanted photos that made me remember what I was feeling when the picture was taken, and she 100% delivered. I can’t believe how lucky we are that these photos get to stay with us for the rest of our lives. You absolutely should book Britt Hill Photo; you won’t be disappointed.

t we did with her (highly recommend doing one of these to get comfortable in the setting of being photographed and that extra time with her, since you end up spending more time with your photographer than anyone else at the wedding!) Her style is the perfect blend of unique yet timeless and traditional yet creative. She made the pictures feel effortless in the moment and completely stress free and FUN!! They turned out gorgeous and she was able to finish them so quickly. I will never be able to say enough good things about her - I’ve already had friends reach out after seeing my pictures saying they want to book her too!!

She has such a creative eye when it comes to details and composition, and her photos capture emotion and movement in a natural way. Britt was amazing to work with, so attentive, professional, and her kind and fun demeanor was wonderful. It was very important to us to have candid shots and Britt absolutely nailed it! She captured every moment of our day in the most beautiful and NATURAL way!! Going through our album we don't even know where to begin as far as choosing our favorites, there are endless amazing shots to choose from.
If we could give her 100 stars in this rating, we would!! She has given us the most amazing way for us to relive that incredible day for the rest of our lives. Thank you Britt! We cannot wait to work with you again in the future!

ID but she was also extremely professional & quick to respond to my emails. We did both our engagement pictures and wedding ceremony pictures with Britt and both times she managed to put us completely at ease! For people who hate having their pictures taken, she made the entire process a breeze! Literally all we had to do was show up and she takes care of the rest - poses, lighting, background, etc. The pictures are beautiful and so natural-looking! Nothing about them looks staged! She somehow managed to capture all the best candid moments! To top it off she is also one of the most friendly, down-to-earth people I've ever met!! I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again! She is simply the best!!

could’ve gone bad or really well. I took a chance but it was worth it. She was extremely easy to talk to and very laidback. I had mentioned what was important to me and my family, everything was captured perfectly. I can’t even begin to describe how looking back at our wedding pictures makes me feel. Unbelievable. Brittany is so talented, puts her heart and soul into the pictures and endures 100 degree weather with extreme humidity and you wouldn’t even be able to tell ! She will definitely be my go to for any pictures from now on!!

hey were everything I wanted and what I envisioned for my wedding. She was fun and creative which was great (because I am not). She got us to come out of our shell a little bit and I’m so thankful for that. Her prices are beyond reasonable and she came through every step of the way. I can’t wait for her to take our maternity photos one day because she will be the first I call.

ions and was so professional on our wedding day. Britt was really good about capturing moments organically but also directing poses to ensure certain special shots were perfect (like with family and groups). She sent us our album within a few weeks of our wedding which was so much quicker than we anticipated and they are GORGEOUS! The editing is so beautiful and we were blown away by how intimate our photos look. My mother cried looking through our album! These are truly photos that we'll treasure and I'm so excited to display in our home. I would recommend Britt to anyone in CT looking for a wedding photographer with a natural and romantic style! Thanks Britt!!
