I do not recommend booking with Brittany Sorrow as she would not comply with the contract we both signed. I paid a deposit on January 9 to reserve her services for my wedding on October 12. Unfortunately due to difficult circumstances, my fiance and I are no longer getting married. I let Brittany know this on June 19 and asked about a refund. She responded the next day to say that she was working all day, but would get back to me the next morning. I told her to take her time, as I was hoping the situation would change. After I had not heard back from Brittany for a few weeks, I reached back out on July 8 to follow up. She responded back on July 9 stating that she was sorry about everything and that normally deposits are non-refundable, but that she was "sympathetic" of my case and would give me half of my deposit back. A non-refundable deposit has been the case with the majority of my vendors, however Brittany's contract specifically states the following: "I agree to the scheduled appointment times given (attached), and the price listed above. I understand and agree to the deposit of $X of the total package price at this time to secure appointments. I consent to having the deposit processed 2 weeks prior to the scheduled appointments. I agree to pay the balance due on the day of the event. I understand that the deposit will not be refunded upon cancellation unless TWO WEEKS NOTICE is given. I understand that no refund will be given for members of the wedding party who miss their appointment on the day of the event." With that said, I believe I was 100% entitled to receive my full deposit, as both Brittany and I signed the same contract. At the end of a back and forth text conversation that went on for entirely too long about why she thought I should not receive my deposit back, I ended up with half of my deposit returned and a bad taste in my mouth about this entire situation. Although what I am going through with my now ex-fiance has been incredibly difficult, I do understand that business owners need to look out for themselves in these types of situations. That is why they ask customers to sign a contract. I abided by the clear language of the contract when I gave much more than two weeks notice of cancellation. Brittany did not abide by her own contract when she refused to return my full deposit.

From day one Brittany was so amazing! When my sister and I meant her for the trial run she was so sweet and kind. She walked us through how she would do my sisters hair. I knew I had nothing to worry about. Day of the wedding she drove almost 2 hours to come to my sisters wedding. She got to the venue super early to make sure all the girls would be ready on time. Brittany was so cute and friendly the whole time. Most importantly she made us all so beautiful! If you’re looking for someone to be friendly and caring to your girls while you get ready for your special day, Brittany is the girl to go with. Her work is beautiful! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help with my sisters special day! Thank you Brittany!!

Brittany is absolutely amazing. She takes her time to listen and make sure she knows what you want and then performs way better than you could ever ask for. Highly, highly recommend her!

I booked Brittany a day in advance for NYE for me and my bff. She arrived early, she was SO much fun and she styled our hair exactly as we wanted. She was super laid back and easy to work with plus she is great at what she does. I would 100% hire her again to do my hair. She is amazing!
