Y’all. This is not a drill. Brittany is seriously the bee’s knees, and I’m not the kind of gal that normally writes reviews. If you are wondering how she can have so many perfect reviews, I’m here to tell you it is because she is THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. My elopement was just a few weeks ago, so I haven’t even seen all of the photos yet, and I can already tell you she is worth every penny. We didn’t meet in-person until the day of, but she made me feel at ease from the moment she arrived. I felt pretty unprepared for wedding day - my junk was spread out all over our hotel room and we weren’t even close to ready, but Brittany proved to be a true professional… collecting all of my special pieces and creating little sets on the fly. I was also feeling a bit insecure (huge bandaid on my leg, shape wear that kept peaking out), but Brittany made me look and feel like a million bucks. I mean, she even helped me apply my boob tape when my own mother couldn’t get it to stay. Talk about a photographer who goes above and beyond! In the end, our day was a dream come true and felt like such a breeze, and I think Brittany played a huge role in that result. My husband was low-key dreading having a photographer follow us around for 3 hours. He hates having his photo taken. He told me the next day that he thought Brittany was so comfortable to be around, and he didn’t even realize she was taking so many pictures of us. He said she genuinely made the day more fun. And did I mention that she gave us a good number of sneak peeks THE VERY NEXT DAY?! That kind of turn around is rare in photography world. I couldn't be happier with Brittany’s interpretation of my vision for the day, and I plan to hire her for any and all of my photographer needs in the future. I can’t wait to see the rest of our photos because this lady is SO TALENTED. Not to be a weirdo or anything, but I kind of want to be her new best friend. :) Seriously, contact her now and get on the schedule. You won’t regret it.

Brittany is incredible. We actually never met in person until my wedding day because I was living in another city from where we got married. The second we saw each other in person, it was like I had known her for a long time. She makes you feel so comfortable, listened to, and beautiful. My husband, who dislikes having his photo taken, states he was so comfortable with Brittany and actually enjoyed taking pictures with her. My bridal party, family, and guests could not stop raving about her. Her photos are beautiful. Her technique is unique and her eye to capture real, authentic photos is impeccable. Brittany is both a beautiful human and an amazing photographer. Her vibe and energy are unmatched (but also not over the top) and immediately feels like a friend. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and how to prompt you into your photos. We had multiple people in our wedding party as well as our guests say how much they loved her and felt comfortable with her. She is a wonderful communicator and will answer any question from engagement picture outfits to timeline questions. I always received a prompt response. I had already created a gallery wall in my home that was just waiting to be filled with the images (a total of 16 frames) because I knew I would easily love that many images so much. I recently got our pictures and they are breathtaking. Now I’m stuck with the decision of how to limit it to only 16 images that get to go on that gallery wall. I’m so happy I chose Brittany and would choose her all over again. My only regret is that I don’t live closer to her to do bookish things with her.

Brittanny Gilbert was made to be a photographer!!! She has an amazing personality that just makes you feel like you have been friends your entire life. I don't even know how to put into words how amazing Brittany was both during our wedding and throughout the planning process. Our original date was June 2020, and we did engagement photos with Brittany ahead of that. We were the type that truly had no idea what to do in front of the camera, but Brittany made it so easy. And two years later (after many postponements that she graciously accomodated), she did the same for our wedding. She captured the essence of who we are both as people and as a couple, in a way that wasn't staged. I will treasure our wedding photos forever. We're going to need to find something else to celebrate soon so that we can take photos with Brittany again ASAP!

Brittany was awesome! From boudoir, to engagement, to wedding-day photos, she did amazing all throughout. Brittany Gilbert is hands down the best decision you can make when choosing a photographer! Brittany is an amazing photographer who is creative, talented, timely, responsive, professional, down to earth, and fun! She made my family, myself, and my entire wedding party feel comfortable and have a great time! Her shots were amazing and she was able to think on the fly! Brittany is an absolute joy to work with I am so happy we found her. She was the first photographer I contacted when I was searching for vendors. She was so easy to communicate with and her responses were amazing after I sent her my inquiry and my pinterest board made me even more ecstatic for our wedding. Brittany shot my Bridal Portraits a week before the wedding and her shooting style was so fun and effortless and she is the ULTIMATE hype woman- you want this person on your team. Brittany made the timeline of photographing every detail- to every dreamy shot- to every family member on the day of so seamless. My groom and I snuck away twice for some gorgeous couples portraits and it was so swift and I am happy we did. These photos are incredibly beautiful and Brittany's style completely captured my ideal wedding photos. We are SO thankful for her!!!

Where do I even start with how amazing this experience was. Brittany was above and beyond expectations. The quality and artistic aspect of her photos are undeniable (and stunning). But what really shown through to me was her attitude and professionalism with us, family, and friends while maintaining this high level of quality in her work. I had so many comments on how much my family and friends loved her and were impressed by her. She even helped me keep an eye on my dog during the reception. She is one of a kind and was such a joy to work with. She answered all of my questions in a very timely manner (even adjusted my timeline last minute while she was out of the country!). 5 Stars | 10/10 | 100% recommend | Love this woman! We had a mid-pandemic backyard wedding with 17 guests and Brittany made an excellent 18th. Aside from being a funny, thoughtful and gorgeous soul, she made everyone (ages 2-72) including our dogs, feel comfortable in front of the camera. We are so thankful for the ridiculously beautiful and creative images she captured with the limited venue space/subject matter. She's organized, super-quick to respond, and her editing is on point. I will forever treasure our wedding pics!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this human is. What initially drew me to her work were the candid photos she captures so beautifully. I am a strong believer that the best photos are the ones where you can see/feel the emotion of the moment and Brittany knows how to do just that. But what convinced me to book her for both my engagement and wedding photos was her vibrant personality! She will be your hype woman from day one!!! She has a unique ability to make anyone feel comfortable in the spotlight. I especially loved our engagement session because she had funny prompts for my fiancé and I to talk about while she photographed us, which resulted in beautifully natural photos (rather than being stiffly posed). On our wedding day, I can’t even begin to count the endless compliments we got from our bridal party and family about how amazing our photographer was. Everyone fell in love with her personality and was so impressed with how easily she was able to wrangle our large bridal party. Not to mention she SAVED my dress!!! She noticed one of the straps was crooked and we were able to sew it properly with multiple hours to spare. I loved working with her so much I even booked a boudoir photoshoot (which I HIGHLY recommend if you have ever considered it) and had such a blast! She brought a bottle of champagne, some hype music and a client closet with tons of beautiful pieces. And the photos turned out so much better than I imagined!! If you are still reading reviews, you should stop and just book her now. I PROMISE you will not regret it!

We found Brittany by happy accident when we were looking at other weddings that had taken place at our venue. Hiring her was the best decision we made. She is thoughtful, fun, creative, and incredibly talented. There's always a fear that you will feel (and look!!) awkward in photos like these but Brittany makes it so easy to be yourself and capture authentic moments of joy, love, silliness, emotion, etc. We could not be any happier with our stunning photos and our experience with her.

Brittany is AMAZING!! I would say that I am a little camera shy and she made our engagement pictures and wedding pictures such a fun and magical experience! Do you need an amazing photographer who will take BEAUTIFUL photos, AMAZINGLY edit, and be the hype lady of your dreams??? Look no further than Brittany! Brittany is the absolute best. She made our engagement photo session so much fun! I also did a boudoir shoot with her and have never felt so confident or comfortable with myself taking some super hot, subtly suggestive, and classy photos. I cannot rave enough about Brittany and how much FUN she is to do a photo session with! Of course you'll get your classic poses and angles, BUT Brittany also gets in a few (or more if you want!) super creative photos that end up looking absolutely unique. There is no doubt about getting amazing photos and have a very memorable time.

Brittany is an incredible photographer. Our family and friends all mentioned how awesome our photographers were during our wedding day. She's literally a wizard at what she does! We cannot express how much we LOVE our photos and will be using her for all of our photos for any occasion from now on. If I could leave 100 stars I would! She and her photography assistant went above and beyond for our wedding day. Not only did she make the entire engagement time so exciting by sending a sweet little gift the month before the wedding and sending a sweet treat the day of the wedding, but she was raved about by everyone in our families and caught all the special moments of our wedding on camera. I felt like a princess the entire night and she caught the sweetest candids on camera. We will forever have the most beautiful photos to reminisce over with our future families. Brittany was the vendor that made my wedding dreams come true. YOU MUST BOOK WITH HER IF YOU CAN! Also, I did have to reschedule due to COVID19 and she was the one I scheduled my new date around because she is just THAT AWESOME! She was super understanding about it.

Not only do her photos show how talented she but she is also so down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable and hypes you up like she’s known you forever! an I rave about Brittany enough?? Probably not, I don’t have the words, nor the time. Finding her by chance thru a friend in common, she has now taken every photo of myself I plan to use for the next decade, for anything from social media to linked in. Brittany is not only a talented photographer & graphic artist her casual but professional “camera side manner” has had me in stitches every-time over worked with her. She has also managed to get my shy significant other to smile on camera, a feat worthy of noting in an of itself. If you have the money, hire her. If you don’t have the money, sell something- kidney is far less valuable.

Other than marrying the love of my life, having Brittany there to capture our day was the best part of our entire wedding weekend - and yes, it was an ENTIRE WEEKEND. Because of COVID, our 200 person wedding we had originally planned and hired Brittany for quickly turned out to become an intimate elopement all the way in Big Bend National Park. Brittany was a champ and rolled with the freaking punches. She braved the 8-hour drive with us, endured the 100+ degree weather, put up with our crazy family and friends, and then hiked into a freaking canyon with us to take (what I believe to be and I'm only kinda biased) the MOST BEAUTIFUL pictures I've ever seen. She quickly became a part of our family and meshed so well with our friends. So not only do we have incredible pictures to look back on, but a friend for life as well. I can't speak her praises enough and I will forever do all I can to get every single one of my friends to hire her because she is that AMAZING. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also just a joy to be around. She is funny, charismatic, personable, and will make you feel like a million bucks the entire time she's taking your photos. I never once felt awkward - everything was so natural and a dang good time. So stop whatever you're doing and BOOK HER NOW. You heard me! BOOK HER NOW! Brittany is the most energetic, passionate and talent photographer I have ever met. From the first time we met her over a beer before our engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable and at ease. She made us a strike a pose, she told us what to do and where to place our hands and she ALWAYS makes sure to get your best angle through the camera lens. We recently used her again for our small wedding ceremony, and she captured our story perfectly in a series of photos. We love Brittany and beat of all she's become a good friend of mine. I wish I knew more people who lived in Texas so I could refer everyone to Brittany. Hoping the powers of the internet can spread my word. I am NOT a wedding person at all. I did not want tons of posed and fake pictures. I hate all the staged wedding nonsense and had no need for 30 pictures of me "putting on" lipstick that was already on. I spoke with Brittany, and instantly clicked. When we talked more about Disney than the upcoming wedding, I knew she got me and was the perfect fit for us. She listened and laughed when I told her what I valued and what I really didn't care about. I wanted pictures of the special people that were at our wedding to look back on ten or twenty years from now, not ones of my shoes or jewelry. The day of the wedding, I barely noticed that we had two photographers in our room getting ready. It felt like they seamlessly were two extra guests just hanging out, casually taking some pictures. Nothing was forced! Brittany and Heather took beautiful candid shots of my bridesmaids, my gown, all the details. They went to the room where my husband got dressed. She captured us exchanging our day of gifts (which was something I didn't think was important but I'm so glad she made that decision for me). This was Brittany's first ceremony shooting in a Catholic Church, but you would never guess that. She took the most amazing and stunning shots of our church. Every color in the stained glass windows was captured beautifully! Upon arrival to our reception, Brittany and Heather told us all to chill and hang out while they scoped out the perfect spots for the bridal party portraits. Nothing felt forced or intrusive, it was fun and natural. We had so much fun and laughs when they were shooting my husband and me. Our reception was a total blast and Brittany was able to capture every table of guests and all the fun everyone was having. We will treasure that for many years to come. The night of the wedding, before the reception was even over, she sent me the most amazing picture. (Turned out being the one we used for our thank you card) The next morning she gave us a massive "sneak peek" of about 30 pictures. During our honeymoon our webpage of photos kept growing. Within 3 weeks, we had tons, and I mean tons, of pictures. Christmas gifts were easy this year - everyone got beautiful, framed pictures from our special day.  Everyone at our wedding commented how much they loved Brittany and how much fun she was and how naturally she worked. Brittany is unbelievably talented and just has an eye for the most perfect shot. I can't wait to work with her again for maternity shoots, newborn cuteness, family photos and whatever else life brings us! We've got our photographer for life!

Brittany is a magical person, akin to a Disney fairy godmother. She has such talent for photography and her love of life makes her so much fun to work with. Her photos are beautiful; the best mix of moody, artsy, classy, sexy. She takes care of the subject, she takes care of business, all with ease and power that you feel so at ease. She felt like my best friend in our meetings and the whole day of our wedding. My family and guests LOVED her. She was everywhere but not intrusive, polite but assertive, and a heck of a lot of fun to be with. Brittany is genuine and vivacious, this makes a huge difference between okay photographers and fantastic photographers. I was sad when our time came to an end. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her for any of your photography needs. Her photos are GORGEOUS. Seriously, book her ASAP.

Um okay, five stars are simply NOT enough for this gem of a human!! We need 500! Or 5 million! I'm a wedding vendor in Austin and I've worked with Brittany for multiple weddings. She also photographed my ~golden birthday party~ AND we did a mini boudoir sesh together. SHE. IS. AMAZING! She is so fun and joyful to be around, so she will make you feel 100% comfortable and at ease, whether she's shooting your wedding, event, or intimate boudoir! I love my boudoir photos oh-so-much that I literally just sit and look at them at least once a week. (It's fine, I'm fine, I promise.) I just love them so much. I highly recommend Brittany for all of your photographing needs! :)

Honestly, there aren't enough characters allotted to me for this review for me to explain how AMAZING Brittany is. 10,000 million stars. Before we booked with her we grabbed drinks and we were instantly sold. I mean, where do we sign, take all of our money, please. She is so bubbly and sweet and you never feel awkward or uncomfortable around her. For me, this was really important because I've never been comfortable in front of a camera and kind of hate having my picture taken. Our engagement shoot with her was SO FUN. It felt like hanging out with a best friend who happened to also be taking some of the most important pictures of your life. I felt like we were all skipping around and I loved every minute of it. After every picture she took she hyped us up and loved every shot and I think that made me feel so much more confident and comfortable through the entire shoot! I just got our pictures back and LET ME TELL YOU. This is the best photography I have ever seen and I'm literally looking at pictures of me. She captured our playfulness, our sassiness, and all of the love we have perfectly. I actually teared up looking at them and seeing us in this way. Oh and I literally sent her a selfie of me with said tears, getting back to my point that she feels like such a good friend and makes you feel comfortable enough to do or say anything! I stopped in the middle of saving all of our incredible engagement pictures to write this review. I couldn't make it through all of them without expressing how amazing she is. Please please please do yourself a favor and book with her. I'm SO excited for our big day and to know we will have her there to capture it all. Having working with her for a fun photoshoot with my girlfriends I knew I’d be an idiot to not book her for my upcoming wedding. So much stress and concerns are gone now knowing my dream day will be caught by my dream photographer. You absolutely must book her !

Absolutely best photographer and sweetest heart I could have found!! I could gush about her work forever but those pictures speak for themselves! What I can say is how comfortable and calm she had me not only on our big day but the entire process. I’m an introvert with major anxiety and from the very beginning she felt like a close friend. I didn’t want to feel awkward around a bunch of strangers on my wedding day and I definitely didn’t with Brittany or her crew! To top it off, my husband had an accident early on in our wedding planning which killed our wedding budget. Brittany was so sweet and understanding and worked with us to make sure our day was perfect. She’s professional but REAL. If you’re thinking of booking DO IT!!

If I could give Brittany 100 stars, I would. From the engagement session, to the boudoir, to the 10 hour long wedding day; Brittany honestly knocked it out of the park. If you're like me with an aversion to lenses, she has such an authenticity about her that makes it easy to forget you're being photographed. We got SO many compliments on both her professionalism and enthusiasm. My mom even told me she was one of the best things about the wedding- thanks, mom.. Her being a fantastic human being aside; have you seen her work!? I cannot sing enough praises for this fantastic human. Going through my wedding photos actually makes me cry every time. BOOK HER. HIRE HER!!! It was by far the best decision I ever made, and I looked at so many photographers before deciding Brittany. She made me comfortable and captured just the most amazing shots and made us look so good. I am constantly just reminding myself how blessed I was to have her capture hands down one of the best moments of my life!

We were so excited to work with Brittany! The day of she was PERFECTION. Sometimes it’s awkward having your photo taking by someone you don’t know so well and Brittany makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. The finished product was more than we expected! Brittany was wonderful! She showed up early and did extra things that I totally did not expect her to do. She was so fun and lively and made everyone laugh. My partner and I were both very nervous about hiring a photographer mostly because we dreaded the thought of having to do engagement photos for our families and then couples photos during the wedding. We were psyched about reception photos and pictures where we wouldn’t be the focus but anything else made us both...very uncomfortable. Brittany was amazing from the get-go. She was enthusiastic and friendly and made both of us feel at ease about having our photos taken. I had concerns about angles and perspectives since I’m chunky and she listened to me, was super kind and made adjustments in how she shot my face and body so I was comfortable and that was SO refreshing and validating. The day of the wedding she and another photographer assisted in shooting the wedding and they were both so funny and great to have around beyond being our photographers! We are both SO happy with the photos from our wedding. There’s a great balance of artsier photos and traditional so there’s something for every family member 😂. Her turnaround is bananas; I didn’t expect anything for awhile since October is such a busy time in the wedding world but she had beautifully edited preview photos she sent to me that week and then the full album followed less than a month later. She’s SO talented and dedicated! She also just really understood the spirit and aesthetic of our wedding and captured how much we love our family and friends and how much they love us. And what more can you ask for?

Brittany is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I found her on the Knot and hired her first for our engagement photos. Once she did those, I knew I had to have her for our wedding! Her work is beyond beautiful and she has an amazing eye. Our wedding pictures perfectly captured our special day and for that I am forever grateful. Most importantly, she is a nice, sweet person! Our wedding was October 5, 2019 and she already sent us our photos! I could go on and on, bottom line, Brittany just gets it! Do not hesitate to book her ASAP!!

She was there when I got proposed to, she was there for our engagement shoot, and she was there for our big day. Having her through the whole process was such a magical experience from day one! She captures such candid moments and knows how to take charge when needed. Her process is very organized -- from payment to final photos -- and she goes into your big day very prepared. I actually used Brittany for my Boudior photographer, and I loved her! I was feeling a little nervous because I have never done anything like that before, and that easily went away because of how chill and easy going Brittany is. This shoot was a surprise for my husband, so she was able to work with my schedule and found a time I would be in town and my husband would be at work. She hyped me up and made me feel so confident. And the pictures came out amazing! She was great. Definitely recommend doing a Boudior shoot (so worth it and so fun) and I would recommend Brittany as a photographer!

Brittany was the best photographer! My husband and I were so nervous to do our engagement pictures, and Brittany was so great with making us comfortable and laugh. We’re the couple who needed to be told what to do, but she made it so easy and helped us be ourselves. Her energy is contagious! On the day of our wedding, I wasn’t worried at all about how the pictures would turn out, because her creativity is beyond words. When Brittany sent us our wedding album, we felt like we were reliving our whole day to the tee. We loved that she was able to capture moments we even missed. The professionalism, the quality, the emotion captured, how she makes everyone she interacts with from behind the camera feel COMPLETELY at home - I could not speak highly enough about Brittany's work. My wedding was my third session with her and I'll book her for every major event we have from now until forever. Both of our families loved her and the way she was able to turn the stigma of wedding photos turning in to "awkward family photo sessions" in to a comfortable experience. Brittany and her second shooter (Heather) did an absolutely wonderful job. We had Brittany for our engagement photos and fell in love, so we also hired her for our wedding. She made us feel super comfortable and does everything she can to get the perfect shot of your big day. Brittany is amazing!

We were so lucky to have found Brittany randomly on The Knot. Her beautiful editing skills caught my eye. We loved her ever since the engagement shoot and how she made us (2 awkward picture takers) enjoy the process so much more. Also, our wedding day did NOT go as planned but she helped ease the nerves and make it as relaxing as possible. She has become a staple in our lives and can’t wait for her to capture many more of our special moments in years to come!

We’ve worked with Brittany twice so far and there are not enough words to describe how amazing she is! Besides her photos being stunning, she’s able to capture the best candid shots. Photos that are able to pull you back in to the memory. I’ve always been a little shy being in front of the camera, but Brittany was great at making me, and everyone else, feel at ease, and even better, she makes it fun! Brittany pretty much became an honorary bridesmaid for me. She stuck by my side all day and even though the unexpected 20 degree weather on our wedding day didn't phase us one bit, she was ready to do whatever may have been needed. She also meshed so well with our family and friends. Even from the very beginning when we first met Brittany, we discussed what we both envisioned for our special day over some wine and cliqued immediately. Brittany is SO AWESOME. Not only is she SUCH A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER with amazing creative ideas, but she is also such a fun and awesome person to be around. She immediately made us feel so comfortable and like we could really just be ourselves!! S/o to you girl, we're homies now. After the first shoot I couldn't wait for the second!!! Cannot recommend Brittany enough!! She was such a good time and captured our wedding perfectly. What I love most about the photos is that she had captured all the moments so candidly. Nothing seems too posed. Its all very authentically us. She knew exactly when to make us smile and also when to blend to let us have our moments. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Brittany is AMAZING!!! Like - THE. BEST. EVER. Besides her God given talent for photography and incredible ability to capture "those moments", she is genuine to the bone. Brittany is hands down the most amazing photographer EVER!!!! I could not imagine having anyone else there with us, she was truly like part of the family. She went above and beyond the call of duty as a photographer. The amount of insight and advice she had to offer was the best. She was in constant contact with me for several months before the wedding making sure I had everything just right. The weeks before she did follow ups, and made me feel so comfortable and stress free going into the big day. Brittany did our engagement photos, and a boudoir shoot for me to surprise my husband with. Her pictures left him speechless. There is no other photographer like her, she is definitely one of a kind. Brittany was great to work with. We loved her energy and how well she worked with everyone at our wedding. Once we got our photos back, we were even more in love. They are so great. Her ability to use whatever background and lighting is around to create great photos gave us some really special memories from our day. We chose Brittany because her photos are natural and not just pose after pose. She captured the emotions of the evening perfectly. I loved how she also pulled my groom and I aside when the light was perfect to do another round of portraits of just us. I never would have thought to do that, and those are some of our favorites from the day. I'd recommend Brittany to anyone who wants genuine pictures from their milestone. Brittany's creative talent is undeniable and she is fabulous person as well!
