With all the care I give my own photos, I tie the blue velvet ribbon around your wedding prints, nostalgia washing over me as I dream of the day your granddaughter will hold these gingerly between her fingers. I have poured my heart into these photos, a tangible remnant of your wedding, as you have poured your heart into his, as you have joined hands to become a family, as the ephemeral moments of your wedding will outlast us in these heirlooms that are more than just ink on paper.
On the outside, I am a wedding photographer. But really, am I your personal historian, documenting the moments that will be cherished by your family for generations to come. I am the wedding photographer who will start your history book.
