Together, we came up with a package that made sense for us and went from there. I needed to push my wedding due to COVID and Brittany was beyond understanding and easy to work with. Which was such a relief. Planning was super easy as well! She has a collaborative document that you fill out with timeline, family names, specific shots/portraits and other preferences. This made day of go super super smooth. (Side note: if you have any strange dynamics or family drama, Brittany is able to navigate flawlessly) I could not imagine having anyone else photograph my wedding. Brittany was so easy going, she brought my stress levels down majorly. You really want to hire a photographer that you personally connect with/get along with on your wedding day because they are with you and your family on the biggest day of your life! To be honest, Brittany felt like family by the end of it all. I am truly going to miss not speaking with her or seeing her! Take a look at her portfolio. When we first rescheduled the wedding, we had no idea what the day would actually look like and Brittany’s expertise helped guide us in the planning process. She was so organized and worked with our day of coordinator on the planning the timeline so all major photos were discussed before the wedding and the day was as stress-free as possible. Our photos are candid, natural and absolutely perfect. We plan to use Brittany for any future occasions and give her our highest recommendation!

On the big day, she was a ray of positivity, making sure we were still able to capture classic moments (like a spontaneous first dance in front of the deserted Metropolitan Museum of Art) while also capturing how unique our day was (like a group of spectators wearing masks and clapping for us after our vows in Central Park). The leather album is very high quality and creating it was a fun and smooth process thanks to Brittany and her sophisticated online gallery and album previews. If my photography experience was this good during a pandemic, your normal wedding will be FANTASTIC with Brittany Sturrett Weddings!

What's especially impressive is that we were having the photos taken overseas in a city we'd only visited once before, so we were a bit useless when it came to scouting out the location. She made everything seem effortless, and we had a blast. 's photos really spoke to me. Her images are bright and cheerful with such beautiful composition. We met on a stormy day in a little cafe and I knew then she would be a great fit for our wedding. I could not have anticipated how phenomenal the choice I had just made was. She is a truly seasoned professional through and through with a delightful to work with personality. In the months leading up to the wedding Brittany was extremely communicative responding so quickly and was very helpful with all those questions that arise. She was very empathetic and understanding when such issues arose such as we had to cancel our engagement photos the night before because one of our pups fell ill and was in the hospital. Her compassion and understanding took so much stress out of the process. She was a great help in planning the photographer timeline, wedding timelines, a questionnaire about scheduling and photo shot list. She was very proactive in helping to manage the day of photo schedule and even let the venue know we were running a few minutes late to the wedding! Our wedding was small and intimate. Brittany did a phenomenal job of capturing our guests and their personalities in such lovely candid shots. She did a dynamic job of capturing the huge list of family and other photos which overwhelmed me just looking at but she had in hand and captured them all. Brittany offers professional opinions and guidance such as taking photos before our Fall wedding would provide better lighting. She answered many questions relating to the flow of the day and worked with other vendors on when the first dance was starting and cake cutting to make sure they were in place to capture photos. Day of the wedding Brittany arrived on time and immediately started working. She and the other photographer on her team mingled among all the family in our apartment and captured photos in a way which everyone felt at ease. Some of my favorite photos are those taking while getting ready. She was proactive and really far surpassed any expectations. She was very communicative such as she was taking these shots are there any others we would like. Can we do this now to get a photo of it i.e. putting my shoes on in my dress. 15-30 minutes before her scheduled finish at our wedding she asked if we needed any other shots taken or if we would like any thing captured. Additionally before she left she checked in with me again and advised on the turn around for the photos. I really appreciated this as your wedding day flies by and it was so considerate to check in to make sure everything we needed was captured. I would HIGHLY recommend Brittany to anyone seeking help for weddings of any size, events or family photos. Her organizational skills are exceptional which is high praise from me! She is an all around lovely person to be around and a true professional who is an asset to any event and she takes the upmost care in preparing your photos of memories that will last a lifetime. (Plus she is a great marriage certificate signer! :))
