Brittingham Farms is an "Open Concept" lavender farm wedding venue located in Millsboro, DE. You can anticipate a classic and upscale farm experience on this vast property. This 350-acre working grain farm is now run by the 4th generation and was opened up to the public just 2 years ago. Brittingham Farms makes a wonderful setting for a country wedding, with a large grass area for your tented wedding reception. Tented receptions in our 5 acre lavender field will be completely customizable for guest counts from 10-500. The lavender field also has an unobstructed view of the evening sunset and a pond in the back field for beautiful photographs during golden hour. The farm offers the largest lavender field in Delaware, 2 ponds, walking trails, European fountain, pavilion and covered pergola in the center of the field. There will be a fee of $3,000 for all off season months (January through April and August through December). We have current availability. We are an open concept venue with very transparent pricing. We do not offer different "packages" at this time. Our lavender field offers a tent space of 60ft by 400ft, with electricity and water for your caterer, band, portable bathroom trailers, etc. Should you choose to rent a tent, there is plenty of space to seat 300 plus guests in the lavender field. We can offer you a list of preferred vendors, but our brides have the flexibility to use any vendors they choose. We do require a day-of wedding planner. Our venue includes parking for a guest count of 300+ if needed, trash removal, the alcohol licensing, access to the farm the day prior for decorating time and rehearsal, tree trunk bench seating for ceremony space is also included (can seat up to 200). The only extras that are an up charge are any retail items from the farm store, such as lavender bundles for bouquets, hydrosol as favors, etc. Dates are not saved until the deposit and contract are returned to the farm.
