ake sure our day went off without a hitch. We had our wedding on our family farm, imagine backyard wedding but huge and many moving parts. We wanted advice on where to position the ceremony site and Brittney came out to the property to help us determine what would work best for lighting on the day, and go over details and timeline. We knew after our amazing engagement photos that we would love our wedding photos but we never could've imagined the magic images we would be sent so soon after the wedding. At sunset, Brittney and her assistant helped us escape our 200 person reception and walked into the middle of a knee high field of buckwheat with us to capture positively dreamy images that we will cherish forever. From getting all formal photos done before the ceremony to a group photo with 40+, nothing phased Brittney. Her calm demeanor and sense of humor will keep you laughing and relaxed on what can be a high-stress day, and her organization will keep you on track to capture all the memories you want from your wedding. We cannot recommend Brittney enough to anyone!

What we didn't realize was by capturing every raw, real emotion from the day, we would get the perfect wedding photos! own skin is something that is very important to her. Brittney was so helpful and patient with us as we dealt with the stressful process of postponing our wedding from last year. We ended up having Brittney capture our intimate ceremony on our original wedding date at an AirBnb on a lake in Pennsylvania and the photos turned out better than I could have imagined. We then had Brittney join us for our larger reception a year later on a beach in New Jersey. As expected, her photos were incredible and captured the day so beautifully. She even put herself at risk when helping me pick thorns out of my dress that I had picked up while photographing on the beach, ha. We selected our wedding date to ensure we could have Brittney join us and it was the best decision. On our wedding day, she made me feel like a queen and her team was amazing - from holding my dress off the ground, fixing my hair, and blocking fountain spray like a human shield. ustive internet search. We wanted someone who we felt could capture the emotion of our day, and how it felt to be there. We wanted to look back on our photos and not just remember how we looked but to see how we felt. Brittney's work spoke enough for itself - every wedding that she has done is stunning and she's clearly so talented. But on top of all of that, she is just a lovely person. Before we booked her, we videoconferenced with her and instantly felt at home - like we were fast friends. Brittney took the time to get to know and understand my fiance and I, who were not traditional wedding people. In fact, we had never gotten professional photos taken together and were unable to do an engagement session. Brittney was understanding and accommodating, and really spent a lot of time explaining her process to us to make sure we felt comfortable. This was all pre-pandemic. Once it became clear that we were going to have to scale down our micro-wedding, Brittney worked with us to change up our contract so that she could photograph our wedding safely. She worked with us to set up the timeline for the day and helped us with tricks and tips to make the day go smoother. With all of the chaos of pandemic wedding planning, we were so happy to have her in our corner to provide some much-needed calm in the center of the storm.  On the day of, Brittney showed up PREPARED. Prepared to get things done efficiently, prepared to have a good time, and prepared to take some sneaky stunning photos. I was so worried she'd have a hard time getting me to relax so that I could look myself in photos - because I tend to tense up whenever I see a camera around. But I never felt tense with her or, when I did, she was always ready with something to lighten me up. She knew when to step back and let me be my strange self, and knew when to step in to remind me to be a bride ("you might want to take your hair tie off your wrist", "let's have your entourage step away for the first look so that you can have some privacy"). My husband felt the same way - said she had an absolute blast photographing the guys. And surprisingly, despite there being only 20 people at the wedding, she took photographs largely unnoticed. My family was so shocked by how many moments she captured ("I didn't know she was there for that!"), and when they did interact with her, they adored her. Finally - and most importantly- her photographs. did. not. quit. I never thought I'd want to look at my wedding photos over and over again. She did EXACTLY what she does best. She captured so many moments, big and small. All of them were so meaningful. I know that 10, 20, 30 years from now I will look at them and remember how I felt to be finally marrying my best friend and how happy everyone was to be together after an extremely difficult year. Hire her and you will not regret it!

when we had to reschedule everything and made herself really available for our new date and micro wedding date. Logistics were a breeze! On 7/30, Brittney was wonderful. I was so nervous and her energy was exactly what I needed. She was also great at handling some overbearing family members! That was an added bonus! We received our photos in an online gallery about 1.5 weeks after our wedding which I think is a really quick turnaround! The photos are stunning! I felt all the emotions looking at the photos as I did on our wedding day. I was really impressed with how Brittney captured so many different moments and people. It was a pleasure to look through our album. I've probably looked through them all 100 times since receiving them. I would recommend Brittney to anyone getting married. She is professional and also fun to spend the day with!

I mean, she absolutely kills it at candid shots. We really prioritized the photography for our wedding, because we wanted to have beautiful photos to remember our day by. But Brittney gave us so much more. First of all, she flew to us in Boston for our engagement shoot. She was very accommodating and did this at a surprisingly reasonable price. We were feeling nervous about the shoot, as we are both a bit camera-shy. But she immediately made us feel at ease. She is just a fantastic person and a joy to be around. At the wedding itself, she was kind and reassuring when necessary and inconspicuous when necessary, such that we felt we were really able to relax and be ourselves on our big day. We just got our photos back, and we could not be happier with them. Our wedding day was wonderful, but it was also a blur. Now we feel like we get to re-live all of these beautiful moments thanks to Brittney, and we are so, so grateful.

one of the most important places to spend your money on your wedding day is your photos - these are what you'll go back to year after year; and Brittney has such an amazing eye where she is able to capture real moments (but also capture you in you at your best). She is also such a down-to-earth, hilarious, and open person. This was all evident from my first contact with Brittney which was quickly followed by a FaceTime chat (that included, me, my now husband Greg, and a cameo appearance by our dog Zoey - at Brittney's request). We immediately felt at ease and comfortable after this FaceTime and knew we made the right decision. When we met up with Brittney or our engagement shoot we felt like we were hanging out with a friend. What could have been a truly awkward and draining day (from running around all over San Diego to take photos on what seemed to be one of the most busy and crowded days) instead was a comfortable and easy experience thanks to Brittney. At the wedding, I was so happy to when Brittney arrived and excited to see her work her magic. Because one of the only truly quiet moments you have during your wedding day is when you're taking your portraits, it was such a relief to spend that time with Brittney; it felt like we were hanging out with an old friend and, again, as a result we felt so comfortable and relaxed. She also brought along a second shooter, Ashley Randall, who was also amazing and a delight to work with. Fast forward to receiving our photos and, honestly, we were blown away. She managed to capture us in what felt like a genuine and raw raw while also managing to capture us in our best light possible. As an aside, Brittney is based out of Philadelphia and we are located out in California (Orange County specifically). Not only was Brittney very accommodating with travel (and very reasonably priced in this respect) but I also had ZERO concerns about logistics; she was a super professional about planning ahead and having contingency plans in place. In summary, I love Brittney and, if you decide to book her, you will love her too (and the photos she creates for you).

, the first vendor I hired was Brittney! She is all the things you want in a photographer -- professional, great eye for a photo, timely, courteous, fun yet discreet. However, here is where Brittney EXCELS. She has the gift of being able to capture the day’s events, the guests, and the venue perfectly and uniquely to your day. When I compare my photos with my daughter’s, despite common pictures (first look, wedding party, ceremony, etc.) and common guests, the perspectives of the photos are totally different. I am in awe of how she memorialized our events so beautifully. I think this is because Brittney does not overly pose her subjects. She lets things flow and as a result, the photos are a true recording of how your special day looked and how your guests (and you) felt. Even your wedding party pictures will look more like someone captured a great time versus someone posed you to take a photo. She is simply awesome. The only problem you will have in hiring Brittney is choosing which photos to put on social media, send to family/friends, and to put on your walls because each shot will be fabulous!!

It was our first time working with a professional photographer so it was hard to imagine how that would translate for us, but we liked the sound of it, the look of her very impressive portfolio and she was just SO NICE - so we confidently decided to move forward. It’s safe to say that we’ve been absolutely blown away every step of the way. Brittney is all the standard things you’d expect in a photographer (professional, organized, punctual, etc.) and so much more. When you’re with Brittney you feel as though you’re hanging out with a long-time friend instead of a strange person following you around all day. We definitely don’t consider ourselves comfortable in front of the camera, but the more time you spend with Brittney the more you realize how invested she is in you and your story that you never feel like another subject. When Brittney delivered our wedding day pictures we were speechless. Our eyes were immediately filled with tears as we were transported back to the best day of our lives. Given our experience with our engagement pictures, we had high expectations for the wedding. Brittney beyond delivered. She goes above and beyond from a business side, answering any of our questions by hopping on to a phone call, being flexible and honest with us around what package to buy, and even coming to meet with our wedding planner on site a few months before the wedding (which just happened to be in the middle of a blizzard). On top of capturing each person, activity and detail beautifully, Brittney also captures emotions. You can feel the pictures. She has an eye for highlighting what makes each person and moment unique. Brittney puts an incredible amount of care and effort into her work and it shows. I cry (happy tears) every time I look at our photos. We rave about her to anyone who will listen – and if you’re lucky enough to have her shoot your wedding we know you will be doing the same.

From detail shots, to candids, to larger group and posed shots, the range in Brittney’s style really comes through and all of the events she photographs. She’s able to make the unique aspects of each wedding shine. On our wedding day, she was organized, punctual, scouted beautiful locations for our portraits beforehand, and ran a tight ship – we finished our requested friends/family portraits with time to spare before the ceremony and were able to get extra shots in. She was so stealth throughout the evening, too. We don’t know how she managed to take all the photos she did – it’s as if she cloned herself. People look so comfortable in her photos – none of the rigidity that you often see in wedding photos, especially those that are posed. She’s so creative -- The perspectives of the photos are beautiful – some were so artistic, we loved her black and whites, and each image felt so special. It’s clear she puts a huge amount of thought and work into selecting and editing the images. Brittney is exceptional. It was such a pleasure getting to know her. We’ll treasure her photos for the rest of our lives and we’re so grateful to her.

lly wedding blog I knew she would be perfect. After looking through her website I could see that she perfectly captures moments and not just poses. My husband and I were screaming from joy when we went through our sneak peek pictures. Every single photo she sent us was beyond amazing. Not only are Brittney's pictures fantastic, but so is her personality!! She was so easygoing and spent the whole day complimenting us, and come on, who doesn't love that?!!? We can't wait to look at these pictures for the rest of our lives!

I knew that photos were something I did not want to skimp on, because after all, when everything is over, photos are the one thing that is left and allows you to relive your special day. Having Brittney photograph both our engagement session and our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made during the entire wedding planning process. After we first met her, we instantly knew she was the one - no thinking necessary (which for me is unheard of!). Brittney has a way of making you feel as though you are reconnecting with an old friend, which I found to be one of her most prized traits when behind the lens. During our entire 12 years together, my husband and I are not a very sappy PDA couple, so I was nervous what it was going to be like in front of the camera. During our engagement shoot and on our wedding day, boy did we feel comfortable around her, which allowed us to shine and her to snapshot our love and personalities in the most authentic way. She does not force poses or make you feel like you time traveled to your senior prom photo days; rather, she really focuses on candidly showing your relationship through her lens in the least obnoxious or intrusive way. When we received our photos, I could not stop tearing up. I am in LOVE with them and how much they encompass myself and my husband (and our family and four-legged child)! She did a phenomenal job documenting our day and all of the emotions that stemmed from it - I didn't even realize she was there for many of the moments! Lastly, from start to finish, Brittney was beyond organized, on top of things and responsive, even providing great suggestions for other vendors when I was as usual, overthinking things. Brittney, we cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING!

. We wanted those little special moments captured- my brother wiping a tear, our niece sneaking a kiss from her Dad, our friends laughing around the table. Brittney just gets it; she made us feel so at ease the day of; it didn't even feel like cameras were there and that we had to pose and be stiff- we were just having fun, being natural and she was somewhere in the distance creating her magic with her camera. Brittney also went out of her way to send us a sneak peek of a few photos the day after the wedding which HAD US IN HYSTERICS. If someone can tell a story with just photos- you know they have done a good job; we were blown away. Brittney was available, consistent, patient, open, talented and most of all a good human from the first meeting all the way through to when the photos were finished. It's not so easy being LGBT and trying to find vendors who are accepting and loving; and she was all of those things. We just couldn't have asked for more; Brittney- you deserve every bit of success, you're a dream!

Our photos are natural, genuine, and beautiful and we've been asked countless times who our photographer was. If you are thinking of hiring Brittney, all I can say is yes, don't wait, do it now.
