, you have found your wedding photographer! My husband and I were lucky enough to snag Brogen as our wedding photographer when planning in 2019 for our August 2020 date. Brogen flew up from San Diego to Sonoma County to photograph a full day engagement session in Bodega Bay. My husband and I hadn’t ever taken photos outside of “okay, smile!” *queue standard couples’ pose* Brogen made us feel and look like the most photogenic people on the planet. She spent the while day with us, grabbing lunch, spontaneously stopping at picturesque spots off the side of the road and ending with a walk on the (freezing cold) beach at sunset, all while keeping things light and fun. She even captured stunning photos of our pup who joined us for the session. Planning a 2020 wedding was tough and Brogen worked with us the whole way through. Of all of our vendors, she was to most communicative and responsive. When we had to change venues from Santa Cruz to more than 2hrs north in Petaluma, she was flexible and assured us that everything would work out. As a planner myself, I was relieved to work with someone who was so on top of her own schedule and making sure that our day of itinerary would run smoothly with her photography needs. On the wedding day, Brogen and her second shooter showed up with exactly the energy we needed and kept everyone on track. She connected with my bridesmaids, my husband’s groomsmen AND our parents in a way that allowed her to capture the memories of that day in a candid yet entirely styled way. The day was HOT. 103 degrees to be exact. I don’t know what magic this girl did, but you would think that day was a perfect 75 degrees. She somehow made us all look effortlessly stunning in every photo. This girl has an eye for light, let me tell you! When she says “let’s go, we have to catch the sunset,” you GO! Our sunset photos were stunning and such a surreal experience to have a small amount of alone time amid all the hustle a bustle of the day. TLDR; Brogen Jessup is a dream photographer and vendor. She will go above and beyond to be sure your day is captured perfectly and provide you with the stability you didn’t know you needed on your big day!

It’s incredible how many details you might not think about on your day that Brogen was really on top of (she made sure we had water bottles off of the tables, and she kept my lipstick handy- dream!). Check out her website and insta for the breadth of her talent- we were more than ecstatic to have her eye on us on our big day. Some other great things- is she so good at styling, trust her and although you may want a few specific shots, just let her do her thing because she comes up with pure magic. Day of- I even rode with her to my wedding because we needed just a few more shots - so believe me she's there for YOU on your big day. Her second shooter was awesome as well - my hubs and his groomsmen were totally not thrilled for pics but they felt super comfortable in the end and the shots were fire. After the wedding, Brogen had our sneak peek shots out to us THAT night! Then she had our other pics to us within 4 months - there was sooo many which is nice because you can pic the ones you think your arm hair looks good if you get picky lol. Also you can download from a website- talk about genius! Then after that we've even worked with her to build our custom album which - wow it is the best keepsake ever. I can't say enough and I know I'm rambling but please hire Brogen you can't go wrong. If you want super basic photos, maybe don't go with her, but if you want the photos that everyone will talk about and you will adore and you want a team player and friend throughout the process- Brogen is your photographer!
