Hire her for whatever your needs are and I promise your expectations will be exceeded and then some. My expectation for her as a wedding planner went above and beyond what was asked for. What you get with Brooke has everything to do with how great of a person she is, in addition to her experienced skill set. Hiring a wedding planner requires a great deal of trust; you have to trust that they are reliable, can get the job done efficiently and smoothly leading up to and day of, and ability to see your vision. Brooke exceeded this and so much more and I will tell you why. I hired her for month of coordination, as I generally knew what I wanted/needed but having a destination wedding I needed the extra help to coordinate not to mention coordinate day of. She was helpful from the get go an entire year out from our date and her help with little details prior to was my literally my second brain. I can't emphasize enough how much Brooke is a literal mind reader/magician. Which was SO helpful. In addition to this, Brooke is one of the kindest, thoughtful individuals I have ever met and is very easy to get along with. I knew instantly after our first conversation, reading careful reviews, and browsing her thoughtful and well planned website that she was the right person for the job. Brooke was able to coordinate with my vendors from afar (where I couldn't), understand what I needed on day of, and flawlessly execute what was asked. I am a little bit of a type A girl, and I can't communicate enough because of Brooke's attention to detail, effective communication skills, expertise and experience, how easy it was for me to let go and let her do what she does because she is trustworthy and just that good. Our wedding day went off without a hitch! Furthermore, at the end of the day it was nice to be able to get to know someone as sweet as her. I would shout it from the roof tops if I could, but if you need a wedding planner hire Brooke! I recommend at least doing month of coordination as I did as there is so much that goes into a wedding, that last month of coordination is crucial and it was great to have someone I could trust help me with it. The world faced a pandemic. Our family faced loss of my father. When things finally started to turn around Gov. Northam placed new restrictions on the state just one week prior to our big day forcing us to go into complete panic and come up with an on the spot plan B. How did we get through it all you may wonder...? Well, Brooke. She was so much more than a wedding planner for me this year, she has become like a dear friend. When she reached out to share her condolences it felt sincere and as if she had known me for years not a few months. When the heartbreaking news came about the new restrictions she reached out immediately. She consoled me, empathized with me, contacted all my vendors, she became my voice when I couldn't form words if I tried. Again, her warmth shines through and truly made us feel so cared for, not just a vendor to client relationship but one human being caring for another. It didn't stop there...she continued to deliver the impossible. Wedding plan "B" immediately went into play and Brooke didn't skip a beat. She poured herself into all the details and coordination of a 6 day notice for a new wedding solely so my husband and I could have the most magical day...and let me tell you...it was FABULOUS. I am still in such shock at how amazing everything turned out and am wondering if she has real life magical powers. Brooke is generous, kind, warm, the sweetest and cutest, caring, professional, compassionate, organized, an amazing listener, and she is client first 100%. She will go above and beyond for you and your husband/wife to be. She will make you feel like you are her #1 client, like you are her only client and your wedding is as important to her as her own was. She is without question the worlds greatest wedding planner. She made us feel like we were the only couple in the world getting married; she made us feel like a priority. Since we weren’t local to the area, we didn’t know any vendors. Brooke was able to recommend multiple vendors – and never pressured us to go with anyone specific. We did use some recommended vendors by Brooke and they were amazing! She was also able to work perfectly with our other outside vendors. She provided detailed vendor specific timelines to everyone and managed contact with them. Our DJ was a relative, who told us specifically how impressed he was with her timeline. Brooke’s vast wedding experience is a true gift because she was able to predict where potential problems could occur on our wedding day, and allowed us to be prepared and avoid all the typical wedding day stresses. I can honestly say our wedding was perfect. She was incredibly patient and detail oriented when we discussed the vision of our ceremony and reception décor. When the Wedding Day came, Brooke made our vision come to life! Our wedding was unique due to Hurricane Florence forcing us to delay out original wedding by 2 months, and Brooke stayed with us through it all. Brooke reached out to all our vendors and kept everyone in the loop with the date change. In a way, she planned 2 weddings for us! The week before our new wedding date, Brooke was on her own personal vacation but still found time to e-mail with us regularly. She truly cares about her couples. Bottom line: Hire Brooke! She’s a talented and professional wedding coordinator – but even more, she’s a genuine wonderful person who wants to give every couple their happily ever after.
