Brooke was the best choice we could have possibly made when it came to our search for someone to capture our special day. We had our first meeting with Brooke a little over a year prior to our big day, and we knew from that meeting that she was the one for us. Brooke’s bubbly personality, and easy going demeanor made us feel as if we’d known her for years, and after our first interaction, we knew we could trust her to capture every special moment of our wedding and keep the mood light and fun, which was important to us for such a long day. Brooke was always available and so quick to answer any and all questions we had. She even helped us make decisions on what to do for our engagement session, and helped us come up with a “Plan B” when our initial plan fell through for our first look. We couldn’t have imagined having anyone else as our photographer, and if we had to do it all over again, we’d choose her again and again.

Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Brooke. She was like a friend and delivered amazing work on top of it! I knew she was the perfect photographer when she drove up to Columbus in the pouring rain for our engagement photos because it was literally the only night that worked for us. She endured multiple hours of rain and the shots ended up gorgeous! We got luckier on our wedding day with great weather and the ability to get some creative shots across Cincinnati. Two days later we had 100 preview photos in our inbox - talk about amazing turnaround! A month later and we have dozens more photos that I can't stop looking at! Book Brooke and you won't regret it!

I have a few things to say about Brooke! Not only is she an amazing photographer, she is just an incredible woman! She did our engagement shoot tonight actually, and we felt so comfortable. And my fiancé is a little camera shy and he even said how amazing she is! She found amazing spots at the farm, including a gorgeous field while the sun was setting! Choosing Brooke as our photographer was the easiest and best decision!! I knew from our first meeting that she was the perfect person to capture our special time. She is so sweet and easy going; and truly cares about making every experience the best it can be! Her experience is evident in everything from planning to execution. While she brought the experience, she was excited to hear our ideas for specific photo locations, poses, etc. We appreciated her flexibility and had so much fun throughout the process! Brooke did the best job capturing all the details of our day, both big and small, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with our total experience and with how our photos turned out. Brooke is amazing, she gave me nothing to worry about the entire day. Before the wedding, she helped me with my day of timeline and helped me pick out the perfect location for our pictures. She was very patient with my family’s crazy requests for pictures throughout the reception! Brooke made two people who are uncomfortable in front of a camera as comfortable as possible. I would recommend Brooke to anyone who is getting married, she was amazing! Her sister Holly, who was her second shooter was amazing as well. They worked very well together and I know they captured amazing pictures together! We are so glad we chose Brooke to take our pictures that we will cherish forever!!

I'm truly not even sure where to begin. I guess I'll start by saying my wedding wasn't exactly traditional. Minutes into our outdoor ceremony, the skies decided to open up and it began to rain.... HARD. I have a vivid memory of glancing at Brooke and mouthing, "I am soo sorry" as she was getting soaked and yet snapping away. She looked back at me with the biggest smile and mouthed back, "This is amazing!!!" and in that exact moment, I knew it would be. Brooke didn't even flinch when the rain came and we all fed off of that energy. She is more than an incredibly talented photographer. AMAZING! We first hired Brooke to take our engagement pictures and I immediately knew she’d become our forever photographer! The pictures were so perfect and we knew we had to have her for our wedding day. Brooke and her sister are not only great photographers, but the sweetest and most laid back girls in the business! OK! WOW! I honestly do not know even where to start with Brooke. She was absolutely amazing. She captured my wedding in words that I cannot describe. I really cannot thank her enough for the time and amazing work she did for us. She not only captured our day perfectly but was the most easy going and fun person I've ever met. I have never met someone so effortless fun and both brilliant in her work. I honestly can say that she made our wedding day the best that it could have been! Hiring Brooke was by far the best decision we made when planning our wedding. She does amazing work, is a bad ass woman in general, and will make you comfortable just being around her. Personality is very important for a photographer, they are with you allllll day on a day when emotions run high and through a spectrum. On top of all of this, she and her sister (who accompanied her as her second photographer) were incredibly professional. Brooke was supportive and prepared. She is also very chill and goes with the flow. This means she's open to integrate your creative ideas and listening to what you need. She often went above and beyond for us on our wedding day- she carried my flip flops and lipstick(s), pulled out something for me to sit on so the park bench didn't get my dress dirty, made me feel so pretty and smart (she's so warm and encouraging!), and was good at wrangling our crazy wedding party. In short: Brooke is amazing. You should book her, if you can get her! She was worth every cent.

When we met Brooke for the first time, we immediately felt comfortable. She took the time and energy to answer ALL of our questions and quickly put us at ease. We knew right away that we needed Brooke in our lives! Brooke took our engagement photos in June for our February wedding. Therefore, we wanted the photos to look "wintry" - even though that day reached 85 degrees! The job was not easy. Somehow, someway, Brooke was able to capture photos that not only express our love, but expressed a wintry vibe! Everyone was obsessed with our engagement photos/save-the-dates, so we knew we had found a winning photographer. The day of our February wedding was sunny and collllddd. Brooke (and her awesome sister!) were fun, flexible, relaxed, wonderful, and above all - great to be around. They created an energy that was comfortable and exciting! I cannot stop thanking Brooke and all of the work she has done for us!

Choosing Brooke to be our wedding photographer was legitimately the best decision I made throughout the wedding planning process. First - Brooke's pictures are absolutely beautiful and the "editing" she does on them never looks like a filter or anything other than really great lighting in the photos... definitely a very natural / "best version of yourself" editing style which I loved. Brooke was so fun to work with and it made the process significantly more relaxed/I never noticed a "camera in my face" on our wedding day because we became so comfortable with Brooke so quickly. She kept track of the timeline (to the point where I admittedly didn't check the time throughout my day because Brooke kept us all moving according to schedule) and helped with anything she could (including figuring out the bustle on my dress etc.). On top of her pictures which speak for themselves... I can't say enough positive things about Brooke!

We heard about Brooke from our close friends, and had seen the photos that she had done for their family. Once we were engaged we both knew that we had to use her for our engagement and wedding photos. We could not be more glad that we had the inside scoop! Brooke was super easy to work with, she was quick to respond to emails and collaborated with my husband and I to figure out the best locations for all of our different photos. We were both a bit worried about someone following us around and photographing us, but she made the engagement shoot relaxed. It was a great way to get to know her better and for her to know what we were looking for in our photos. On the day of the wedding she made everything easy from our first look to our family photos and all of the candids. We are so glad we chose Brooke to capture all the images from the wedding!

Hire Brooke and don't look back. There are a lot of reasons she consistently receives 5 -star, unsolicited reviews, but I'm only going to mention a few. She's been doing this a long time and her experience is apparent! She dealt with scorching heat during our engagement session and rain on our wedding day, but still managed to capture so many sweet moments. She's an excellent communicator, and helped keep everything and everyone moving on the wedding day. She is the perfect balance between classic and creative wedding photography. And best of all, she is such a wonderful person to get to know! She is genuinely interested in learning about her clients and shares just as much about herself. She is THE best!

Brooke is the BEST!!!!! It was so easy to get in contact with her to get pricing quotes, easy to get packages set up, and easy to schedule our engagement sessions. Even for two people that hate getting their photos taken, she made by husband and I so at ease during our engagement sessions and on the wedding day. We had a BLAST on our wedding day, and she was so friendly and didn't miss a beat! She's creative and makes everything natural and not posed. Can't recommend her enough! Brooke is amazing - hiring her as our photographer was best decision we could have made! After seeing her photos and reading her about me page, we knew that it was going to be a perfect fit. Brooke captured the story of our day so perfectly and we have so many real moments to look back on and cherish forever. She truly cares about her clients story and it really shows in her photos. She is organized, great at communicating, and made us feel at ease from the first picture she took at our engagement shoot to the last picture at the end of the wedding night dancing. Brooke was amazing! She was so happy and supportive the entire time from our engagement shoot to our thunderstorm-ridden wedding day. After the ceremony, she kept an eye on the sky and pulled my husband and I aside to get some fantastic sunset shots and we even managed to get some pictures under a double rainbow! During our engagement session, we got some pictures at a brewery that was flooded with people but she made it look and feel like we were the only ones there. She was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. We were so impressed with our engagement photos and we are excited to see the pictures from our wedding. In general, both of us tend to avoid the camera, but Brooke made us comfortable getting our picture taken and was certain to accommodate all of the weird photo requests our families had. I would definitely recommend Brooke to anybody!

The best decision I made during my wedding, other than marrying my husband, was having Brooke as our Photographer. She was nothing short of amazing. Of all the vendors we worked with she was by far the easiest, most talented, caring, and professional- we could not speak more highly of her! Just a truly wonderful person.

Brooke was incredible to work with. She was the first photographer I met with, and I booked her the next day. We had our engagement photos taken in September and it was such a fun and enjoyable session (and I usually dread getting my picture taken). We emailed back and forth about the wedding day timeline, and the day of the wedding she and her sister/second shooter showed up right on time. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. After the emotional ceremony, we did a bridal and groom photo-shoot for about 30 minutes away from all the action of the cocktail hour, which was my favorite part of the entire day. I can't wait to see the photos, I know they will be spectacular. I feel so strongly about that I'm writing my review before the photos are done! Highly recommend this lady. Thanks Brooke!

Brooke is so lovely. Even at our first meeting a few months before the wedding, I felt like I was meeting with a friend! She's so easy to talk with and understood what I wanted. She was very patient! She was a great communicator--she clearly told me what she needed from me, but she was never pushy. I also felt like I didn't need to 'do' much with Brooke. She made the whole process very simple and her portfolios of photos from previous weddings speak for themselves! I was excited to have Brooke at my wedding and just let her do her thing! I had a really fun time taking photos after the wedding. We went to Ault Park to take photos, and she made the experience feel really special. Brooke was really good at giving direction but nothing felt too 'posed' or rigid. She was really great to work with. I'm so thankful to have had her at my wedding!

I loved working with Brooke! She was fantastic. During our engagement session, we never felt rushed. We felt like we could just hang out and get to know her and she got some amazing shots of us! On our wedding day, Brooke and her sister came and they were all over the place getting photos. Brooke is very knowledgeable about lighting and angles and posing to get the best photo. I cannot wait to see our final photos! I know they'll be great.

I could write novels about how amazing Brooke Townsend is! She is kind, personable, organized, and immensely talented. Even though I had only met her once before the wedding, having her as our photographer felt like having another good friend there to celebrate with us. Brooke is nothing short of AMAZING. The moment I met with her, I knew that she was the photographer for us. She is one of the nicest, most personable people I have ever met. I have worked with Brooke for both my engagement and save the dates. I knew from those and her other client work, I had to have her for my wedding photography. She is so easy and laid back to work with. She prides herself on having a personal relationship with her clients and really knowing you and your man as people and not just paying customers. I have only received a few previews from my wedding but I am beyond excited to see everything that she captured. Brooke was easy to work with from day 1. She was extremely timely in returning calls, and emails. Her prices were very reasonable for an engagement photo session and wedding day session. Brooke even voluntarily stayed later than I had booked her, for my wedding day because she wanted to capture every important detail of my reception. My husband and I also received a cd of our engagement and wedding day photos for our use. We were very pleased with her service, quality, and value and would book Brooke again for future photo sessions.

We met with Brooke approximately 6 months prior to our wedding and agreed that we wanted to work with her that day. She is very dedicated to her work and providing quality service, yet also laid back and flexible to what the customer wants. Everything I read while planning said that the most important thing about choosing your photographer is to feel comfortable working with them. I felt instantly at ease with Brooke and loved working with her on our wedding day. She and her assistant showed up exactly on time and went immediately to work. She is a professional and very experienced in what she does, but also open to suggestions and requests. I would (and have) recommend her to friends and family in a heartbeat. She also had finished our pictures within 2 weeks of the wedding...a big deal when you are dying to see them!

Brooke was great and her husband also captured some behind the scenes shots that are awesome! As a wedding photographer myself, I wanted to find someone with the same style and quality as my own work, and Brooke was perfect. I loved that the photos showed the event full from excitement and joy the whole way through. I could not recommend Townsend photography more!

My husband and I were very impressed with Brooke's work. She is very professional. Our photographer that we originally had cancelled on us the week of the wedding and after talking to family and friends we found Brooke Townsend Photography. We called four days prior to our wedding and she had an opening. We didn't have much time to give her any direction but everything turned out great! We were both extremely satisfied with our photos.
