own visiting. We were planning our July wedding when COVID 19 hit, and Peri reached out about our cake order. She was incredibly kind and professional when we had to change our cake order from 150 guests to 24. She is accommodating to our needs and still gave us the most beautiful and DELICIOUS cake! Her work is of the highest quality. The flavors are consistent and not overly sugary like some, the cakes weren’t dry or tasteless. Peri provided us with several flavors without an up charge. Our guests especially enjoyed the cookie dough filling and chocolate cake. I was so impressed with the final product, and especially thankful for her support through the revising process due to COVID.

She nailed the look and it turned out better than I could have ever anticipated. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got on our cake all thanks to Brooklyn Girl Bakery. oklyn Girl Bakery with a unanimous decision for Peri. The other bakeries we visited made cakes that were too fluffy and generic-tasting. Cake taste and flavor variety was important to us because we decided to use domed glass cake stands with individual cakes of different flavors as centerpieces on our tables, instead of flowers. Yes, we spent more on cake than most people (we had 14 individual cakes and one larger cutting cake), but we saved a ton of $ on flowers. The cakes Peri created for us were beautifully decorated to look like wrapped packages or band boxes. Guests had a great time going from table to table tasting the different cake flavors, and there was NO CAKE left at the end of the wedding. The cakes were so pretty that when we started cutting them people were startled; a number of guests told me they were sure the centerpieces were fake cakes for decoration purposes only. We had four different flavors of cake, and every one was so delicious that they were all equally gobbled. Peri's cakes are moist, dense, and bursting with flavor. Ask her to show you pictures of how the tables with the cake centerpieces turned out - people literally oohed and aahed when they walked into the reception room, and the cakes were as tasty as they were lovely. Peri was professional and easy to work with. She is a cake artist. Thanks, Peri!
