Based in Greenville, SC, Brooks Dixon Band is a live music entertainment group that consists of up to five musicians at a given time. In addition to a wide variety of cover songs, they also have a wide catalog of original music, meaning that hosts of wedding events can avail of something truly unique to their occasion. Brooks Dixon Band can bless the crowds’ ears with a variety of popular songs from every decade from 1950s all the way to modern-day.
Brooks Dixon, the band frontrunner, first performed his own music live in 2012. Since that time, he has gone on to release an EP in 2014 and a second EP in 2016. His signature singer-songwriter style was given an Americana persuasion through the addition of a band, adding a robust sound to his performances. As a fully formed group, they released a single in 2017 and another EP in 2018. An album released in 2019, showcasing the band’s upbeat and fun style throughout its soundtracks.
Couples can request a specific song to be played at their wedding and Brooks Dixon Band will learn it especially for them per request. The group is able to accommodate clients throughout the southeast and they look forward to adding to their over 500+ performances as a group. Depending on the hosts’ needs, the band can be set up as a solo performance or a full five-piece ensemble. we cannot think of a single negative to say about Brooks Dixon or his band mates. They were fun and upbeat throughout the entire event, encouraging the guests to come out and dance with their own charismatic energy. Each and every member of the band were fantastic musicians. We had many guests wanting to know who they were and how we found them and some even asking if we knew where else they might be playing in the future so they could go to those performances as well. My brother has become a huge fan of the band, adding many of Brooks Dixon's originals to his main playlist.
