eather was bad. Thankfully, weather was perfect and so was my dream day thanks to Brookside Barn!!

There were hundreds of flies buzzing and biting us and our guests at our rehearsal and wedding… with one of the staff members chuckling and saying, “yup those are bad this time of year” to us nonchalantly. Secondly, we stayed until 23:00 cleaning after the wedding so that there would be no excuse for the owners to not give us our entire $500 deposit back. She withheld $200 for a broken broom (which was not broke when we left) and for her staff having to stay “late” to clean after we spent over an hour doing that… We gave her the opportunity to make that right by calling her out on hiding the fact that they had a severe pest problem that resulted in many guests leaving before the ceremony even started and the fact that it was one of her staff that broke the broom ($200???)… but she ignored our reply and never returned the $200 she withheld… so please be careful when considering this venue for your wedding due to how unprofessional the owner is and the complete disregard for our experience especially considering the price tag associated in renting this venue!

re able to tour the venue multiple times during our engagement season which was so helpful when planning intricate details. The staff is always in contact and easy to get a hold of for any questions or concerns. The staff is excellent and incredibly organized - they were able to recommend vendors, were very timely in responses, were always available for meetings and chats, and did everything they could to make our day as perfect as possible! They are incredibly transparent (you don't see that much with anyone in the wedding business) with what they offer and have a website that is so easy to navigate. I would recommend this venue to any and everyone!

was always responsive to my emails and provided timely suggestions and feedback where needed. Not to mention everyone I worked with including Ashli, my coordinator Christy, and a few others were all super helpful with awesome personalities! They were patient and so accomodating though they were dealing with so many different personalities in my wedding party. Any small preferences I mentioned that would soon slip my mind, Christy or Ashli would retain it and have it handled before my 2nd thought. We also had to move our setup inside due to weather at last minute. But with the help of Brookside staff the ceremony turned out just as beautiful indoors! Everyone keeps asking how I found Brookside and complimenting the venue. I couldnt have made a better choice. The photos online do not do it any justice by the way :-)

ust what we were looking for. We met with Ashli and Dianne and we knew this was the place for her perfect day. She was looking for a rustic barn like setting while I was looking for peace of mind. Since day one Ashli has give us just that. There was no question of what package we needed or that we wanted Ashli as our wedding coordinator. She has been amazing!!! They have been so helpful with vendor recommendations as well other recommendations and advice. Ashli and Dianne have been very reassuring through the entire process. That's exactly what I was looking for peace of mind so that I could relax and enjoy our daughter's wedding day. It's officially wedding week and we are so very excited!! Everyone keeps asking me "How are you so calm?" and I just say "It's at Brookside Barn and Ashli's got this." They have made this as stress free as possible on this OCD mom!

more for the wedding coordinator. We had a small snafu as a result of mixed signals (DJ knew what we wanted, but the coordinators took over during the ceremony, resulting in a sound glitch), but overall it was a good experience. Nothing is ever perfect, but it was certainly close.

venue is, the help from Ashli made this the absolute best choice we could have made. This being my only wedding and only daughter we planned, it was SOOOO nice to have experienced, caring people of Ashi's staff. And the cabins at the site were wonderful! My daughter means the world to me, and watching her smile while walking her down the aisle in this beautiful backdrop - I couldn't ask for anything else. Ashli and the entire brookside staff are very accommodating and will do whatever they can to make your wedding day perfect. ld friend even though we had never met. They worked with me way beyond expectations to get the wheels in motion for Kelli & Kits special day. They helped with vendor lists, suggestions, and ideas and were very accommodating to the visions we had. The weekend was absolutely perfect! Having the cabins on the property made the event even better. Kelli and her girls stayed in one and Kit and the guys in another. We used the third one as a "resting" place for us. This special option allowed the wedding party to be together & celebrate more than just the day of and also solved our accommodation needs since everyone lived far away. We even had the rehearsal dinner on the property which made it even more convenient. I would also like to say that Ashli Hernandez is awesome! She took the reins and coordinated/directed the event with perfect professionalism and southern charm. I had nothing to worry about and was able to enjoy my little girls wedding to the fullest!!

So some of the other Brookside Brides came and worked at my wedding - it was so sweet!! :) I loved using all of the decor, the mismatched china, the curtains and drapery, etc. AND THAT FIREWORKS SHOW IS AWESOME!! Thank you, Brookside Barn, for not only being a fantastic work environment but also an AMAZING place for couple's and our families to feel AT HOME!
