Brookside Country Club

My wedding at Brookside was AMAZING! The staff was so attentive and polite, the set-up was exactly what I wanted. Brigid Eisele is the new event coordinator, and started at Brookside about 2 months before my wedding (imagine my anxiety having someone new running the show). Well, she jumped right into my wedding craziness flawlessly. She answered my 1000 emails every day, she paid attention to every single detail of what I wanted & needed, and executed my ceremony and reception perfectly. The grounds of the venue were beautiful, everything was clean and presentable, and the food was SO GOOD. I have ZERO complaints about Brookside, the staff, or Brigid. I had my dream wedding here, I wish I could do it all over again!

November 2021 we were told that the events coordinator was leaving and a new coordinator would be starting. Beginning with our food tasting, I reached out to schedule this because I hadn't really heard anything and the wedding was coming up quickly. My husband and I attended complimentary, and were planning to pay extra for the full meals we were told would come for both of our parents. Besides the fact that we were only served samples of everything instead of the full meals we were told to expect, the food was cooked poorly and was far below expectations, not something you want for your wedding guests. After expressing our concerns and that we were unhappy we were provided a "complimentary" redo of the meals for our full party which meant making the hour drive there and back again, but this time receiving the food we expected. Leading up to the wedding, while, I reached out multiple times to the new events coordinator, Lexi, with details and questions, there was very little I felt Lexi was asking of me even though I was spending a lot of time planning things it seemed she knew little about. But I "trusted the expert" to know. Rehearsal did not go smoothly due to lack of knowledge on Lexi's end. The day of the wedding we had to search to find out where the bridesmaids and I were supposed to go as no one greeted us. We were freezing as we were getting ready with no access to the thermostat and they were unprepared for our hair and make up vendors. Lexi did not check on me and the party once, she did not know what she was doing to set up, my bridesmaids were running around all morning trying to make sure I didn't know the chaos going on (and truthfully still don't know completely), and no one was helping to coordinate pictures to make sure me and my husband did not see each other or help with getting parties moved around at all. The ceremony started 20 minutes late because they didn't open the doors until 5 minutes before the ceremony while I waited upstairs for 50 minutes waiting for direction. It was at this time that Taylor came in and said that she would taking over for Lexi. We later found out that Lexi had dismissed herself into the kitchen for the rest of the night because when asked if she could help us after getting no help from her, she reported she had been "banished from doing her job." During cocktail hour we used 2 different rooms because of rain but no one was telling people to use the other room so hors d'oeuvres were not eaten and there were no forks for prime rib. While Taylor did an excellent job stepping up and I cannot complain about her at all, we had no direction all night. When it was time to cut the cake, no one was there to direct us, late night snacks were announced as being out as per the schedule but they weren't out and we spent so much time looking for someone to help all night it was ridiculous. I also didn't get cake because of this. (not that I could have eaten it because again we were left with no forks) Additionally, we had favors that were meant for children and favors meant for adults. They were clearly different, there were signs addressing this, and Lexi was informed. The youth favors were not put out and I had to call parents apologizing for the kids getting the wrong favors. We were later informed by multiple staff that this was only their 3rd wedding due to the new gm firing everyone. No one has reached out to me in lieu of knowing these things. Not that anything they can do will fix it anyway.

We got married at the end of August 2021 and cannot rave about our experience more! We fell in love with Brookside at the beginning of 2020 and knew right away that we wanted to have our reception there. Abby was also a huge selling point because she was by far the most approachable coordinator we met with. Due to COVID, our ceremony plans had to change. We were supposed to get married at our church, but due to the number of guests invited, we had too many people and it was over the church’s max capacity with their restrictions put in place. After talking it over with Abby in the beginning of June, they were able to make the arrangements and we were able to be on site all day and have our ceremony there as well! The day of went so smoothly and if there were any hiccups, my husband and I would not have known. We had so many different backdrops for wedding photos which was a huge bonus and one of our favorite things about the venue. Abby was attentive the whole day/night and even helped one of our guests during the reception who got injured. My husband’s parents had two kids get married before him and they said out of all the weddings, he said he never saw the coordinator so involved and readily available, even during the reception. Also the food was delicious and some of our guests raved about it to us afterwards! 10/10 would recommend Brookside to anyone!

We had a smaller wedding at Brookside in September 2021. I cannot say enough about how easy Abby and the Brookside team made this day for us. Everything was perfect and the day went off with no issues whatsoever. As well, I was there the week before for a much bigger wedding and saw the same level of service. I would highly recommend this venue, Abby and the staff for a wedding or any other event!

I could not be happier with how perfect our wedding was at Brookside. Abby was amazing to work with, from day one. She is so sweet, so helpful, and really on top of every detail. She was there from the moment we booked, through our covid change of date, to the end of our wedding night. Brookside is a beautiful venue, but meeting and speaking with Abby sealed the deal for us when we were venue searching. The grounds were beautiful for pictures, as well as a scenic background for our ceremony! The ballroom was gorgeous and the bar area is so elegant. All of the staff was helpful, polite, and on top of their game! The food at our wedding was absolutely delicious! Everyone was raving about the Caesar salad. We went with the Filet Mignon Oscar and Chicken Florentine and heard a lot of great feedback! Everyone loved everything! Our wedding was everything I ever dreamed of and I am so happy we chose Brookside for our special day!

After 6372 days, we tied the Knot at Brookside Country Club in Macungie. Abby, the venue manager, has been such a valuable asset to making sure our event would go very smoothly. Her attention to detail and reassurance as we navigated wedding prep and covid protocols were extremely helpful and reassuring. We had a picture perfect Wedding day that showed the beautiful golf course as our backdrop. Our guests were not only impressed with the beautiful venue but were absolutely thrilled with the delicious food and service. Thanks again for a fabulous Wedding Day!!!

I cannot say enough great things about BCC. They hosted our October 2020 wedding and it was everything we wanted and then some. There were so many unanswered questions we had during Covid and Mike and Abby really set our minds at ease about moving forward with our wedding. They really created a magical day for us and helped us every step of the way. I would highly recommend Brookside, especially if you are looking for a fall wedding. The foliage on the grounds really made for some excellent photos.

I've grown up at Brookside Country Club with both my grandparents and parents being members and I always dreamt of getting married here. Brookside made that a reality. From start to finish, everything went seamlessly even with getting married in the middle of COVID. Abby, the coordinator, was always responsive and so helpful. She dealt with me the whole entire time emailing/calling/meeting whenever I needed to. The night of my wedding went absolutely perfectly and everything was beautiful. The whole team was amazing, my guests had an amazing time, and the food was fantastic. I cannot stress enough how much they worked with me to make it the wedding of our dreams despite getting married during a pandemic. We had to move our entire wedding outdoors and Brookside did whatever we needed to make it work. I cannot recommend Brookside as a wedding venue enough!

Abby Tate and her team at Brookside Country Club could not have been more outstanding in helping us plan our big day! From the moment I spoke with Abby on the phone for our consult, I knew I wanted Brookside. Abby was organized and helped us navigate all the ins and outs of wedding planning. She answered my emails at all hours of the day and night and always assured me that our day would be just as we dreamed it would be, and she wasn't kidding! Abby ran our rehearsal dinner, helped us to stay on schedule on wedding day, and coordinated every last detail to make sure I didn't have to. I could go on and on about how wonderful she is and would recommend Brookside to anyone and everyone! When compared to other venues in the valley, Brookside was the most affordable and gave us the most options when it came to adding extra details, food selections, and customizing our wedding to make it exactly how we dreamed it would be! Alex and I can't thanks Abby and Brookside Country Club enough for giving us the day we've always dreamed of and the sweetest memories to cherish forever.

We had our wedding at Brookside Country Club this January and it was phenomenal! We could not have been happier with Brookside and especially our point person Abby Tate. She made our wedding reception turn out to be exactly what we had envisioned for our big day. I can’t say this about every venue we visited during the wedding planning process, but the first time we met with Abby at Brookside, it felt right. She made us feel at home and we knew how important it was to be able to trust someone with our wedding. She was there for every question or concern we had. She made it very easy to make sure our vision came to life on what the food and drink options, lighting, schedule and layout would be. We knew we were in good hands. The country club’s charm really makes it an ideal reception location. It is very clean with an inviting layout. The grounds of the club are amazing also- a long entrance and golf course surrounding the club really enhances the landscape. It was ideal for our wedding pictures in different locations - even in the winter. The grand ballroom has updated floors, beautiful chandeliers and nice lighting. With our winter wedding, we were able to have the fireplaces on inside to add warmth and a cozy feeling. Parking is readily available for guests. The service was excellent as well. We couldn’t give Brookside a better rating for their food and beverage options. Our guests were raving about the appetizers, entrees and open bar. Our wedding was amazing and having it at Brookside made our day even that more special. Having Abby to help us was an added bonus. Wedding planning can be stressful, time consuming and frustrating at times, but knowing you have a contact person at your venue who will be there no matter what happens, is a big relief. We would definitely recommend Brookside CC to anyone!

After calling and touring a couple of venues, we knew that Brookside Country Club was the right place for our venue. They had just renovated their ballroom which was beautiful and spacious! The view and golf course were perfect for pictures and the outside ceremony. Abby, who was absolutely wonderful through the whole process, truly made the wedding experience so much easier. She was super friendly, quick to respond to questions, and extremely helpful with all of our silly questions! I 100% recommend Brookside Country Club for anyone’s wedding!

Brookside Country Club went above and beyond for our wedding! Abby was amazing to work with, and after researching over 30 venues I could not be happier with our pick! The process was so simple with Abby, and she was like a fairy godmother the day of! Every question we could have was answered promptly. Abby and her staff easily accommodated every request/idea we had. They were able to even do a special Indian dish for our buffet for my husband's side. It was the perfect sized ballroom, and the photo opportunities were fantastic! The whole bridal party got ready in the suites upstairs, and I honestly wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you Abby!

My husband and I got married this past June at Brookside. We have nothing but amazing things to say about the venue and our wedding coordinator, Abby. Abby made our already perfect day flawless. She was so responsive and helped us meet our needs and wants of our wedding day. Our wedding guests still rave about the wedding and the wedding food. If you choose Brookside as your venue, make sure you get the Maryland crab cakes (you will not be disappointed!). Brookside is the perfect combination of classical and romantic. The grounds lend itself to a beautiful backdrop for pictures. Overall, our wedding was something we will remember forever, and a large part of that is due to Abby and the rest of the staff at Brookside!

Abby and her team at Brookside are a bride's absolute dream. We had such an amazing day and I didn't need to stress about anything because Abby had everything covered, from decorating and arraigning timelines with DJ's and photographers, to assisting in photos and making sure my husband and I ate during the reception. I was so relaxed and calm during my wedding because I knew I didn't need to worry about anything. Not to mention the venue was beautiful! Having the inside/outside combo for the reception with the patio being right outside of the venue space was perfect, plus the bridal suite and groom room where we got ready were huge and available all day. I really cannot stress how perfect Brookside was. I wouldn't have wanted to have my wedding anywhere else.

Brookside Country Club was amazing and beautiful! We had our wedding at Brookside Country Club the beginning of May. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, the venue itself is gorgeous. The ceremony space, if outside, overlooked the golf course and was stunning. The reception space was recently updated and is very nice as well and comfortably accommodated out 160 guests. The food was amazing and came out in a timely manner. I had a bunch of people come up to me and say how great the hors d'oeuvres were. The venue itself was amazing but, the one thing that really won us over and made our experience fantastic was Abby Tate, the director of catering. She was always available from the date we booked Brookside as our venue till even now, days after our wedding. She did whatever she could to make my wedding everything I dreamed it could be. She helped decrease my stress level and made me laugh when I needed it. She also gave me great ideas on how to make certain ideas come to life. On our wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly and made sure my husband and I were taken care of. She helped with our pictures and made sure everything was perfect. Without her, I don't think our wedding would have been as great as it was!. I 100% recommend having your wedding at Brookside Country Club!

Victor and I can not say enough about this venue. From the moment you walk into the country club you are treated as a top priority. Abby, the event coordinator, was amazing! She guided us through every step of the process from vendors to food selections. On the day of our wedding I was hoping things would flow. Abby made everything flawless! From the food to the facility to the staff simply amazing. Abby was there the entire time of our wedding and treated Victor and I like royalty. She was there to fix my hair and my dress. She made our special day unforgettable. The staff at Brookside was amazing! This was the perfect venue for our wedding! For any couple that is considering Brookside look no further... amazing views, amazing staff, and amazing food!.... it is also the only venue with Abby!

My husband and I just had our wedding at Brookside Country Club this past weekend and it was the best day ever! Throughout the planning process, Abby Tate (coordinator), made everything so easy and fun. Our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be because of how incredible the venue is and how professional and knowledgeable the staff is! I highly reccomend having your wedding day hosted by Brookside Country Club. You will not regret it!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Brookside and its staff. If you live in the area (and even if you don't!) and you are looking at venues stop now, this is it! Abby is their catering manager and the person you will be working with very closely throughout the whole process. Her kindness and understanding was imperative, and she is truly one of the reasons we chose Brookside. The staff itself was wonderful, completely willing to work with our themed wedding and so very helpful with little things that came up the day of. They made extra drinks for the kids without thinking twice, took care of guests without really looking for us for permission or recognition. All of our guests complimented the food, the staff and the venue itself. We actually received thank you cards from our guests because they had such a great time! This is of course partly our planning, however I cannot re-iterate enough times how Abby's guidance helped us get to one of the best parties we've thrown and been to! The venue itself is beautiful. If you are having a ceremony (like we did) on site you have the choice of outside on the back patio or the Swan Room (usually the back up spot). The back patio is wonderful for many reasons, the view is spectacular, and all the chairs and set up is on the patio itself, so you don't have to worry about guests wearing heels or having wet grass if it rained in the morning. Then cocktail hour is right outside the ballroom including the patio if weather permits. It was more than spacious enough for all of our 190 guests. The ballroom itself is beautiful and very customizable. We had a lot of dancers and the dance floor was plenty big. Abby tells us there are some renovations on the way, to remove the carpet and make the whole ballroom a wood floor, which will make it even more customizable. If this review convinced you to choose (or at least look at) Brookside, congratulations! Abby is truly a wonderful person to work with and she (as well as Brookside) are not after you just for the money. Ask lots of questions and suggestions about other vendors and decorations, Abby will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

My husband and I are so happy we decided to have our wedding at Brookside. Abby did an amazing job with everything. She made sure that we were taken care of the day of the wedding and organized the flow of the day. Brookside is beautiful and the ballroom is so elegant. The grounds of Brookside were the perfect background for our photos! The food was delicious and the price for everything was very reasonable for the quality of the venue. We cannot say enough about Brookside Country Club. If we could give more than five stars we would. We had the best day ever, and it was all made possible by the staff, and most importantly the Director of Catering, Abby Tate. Abby goes above and beyond with everything, and made it exactly what we wanted. She is one of the sweetest, and most sincere, people you will ever meet. She is willing to work with you to get you exactly what you want for the price you want. Do not hesitate to reach out, you will not be disappointed!

I was familiar with Brookside CC because my brother-in-laws parents were members many years ago. Brookside has not lost any of it's grandeur or charm. From the flowers at the entrance to the beautiful patio with wrought iron chairs Brookside is classy and classic through and through. Michael and Abby worked closely with us to ensure our needs were met. There is nothing else they could have done to make our night more special. We looked at many other locations and between beauty, class and cost, Brookside won hands down. You won't regret trusting them with your day.

We thought that choosing our wedding venue would be one of the more difficult decisions of our wedding planning process. When we first met with Mike, manager of Brookside, we only visited one other venue. We left that day and knew that our answer was right in front of us. It was the easiest decision of the planning, next to saying “I Do” to one another. After that, everything was smooth sailing. Shortly after we booked, Abby, a catering director, was hired, and she was incredible. She had an answer to all of our questions and had a very fast response time. She kept us on a timeline and when it came to the week of the wedding, we were completely prepared. We had a unique craft beer theme and Abby helped & encouraged us to incorporate it through all aspects of the ceremony & reception. The day of the wedding went flawlessly, thanks to Abby and the staff at Brookside. She had everything checked and ready before we could even ask, helped make sure my wedding dress was always picture perfect, and made sure that our wedding party had everything that they needed. We had a back-up plan for everything, but didn’t need to utilize any of them because the day was perfect. Brookside was a major contributor in us saying that our wedding day was flawless. The property is breath taking and made for spectacular photographs. We cannot say enough about Mike & Abby. They were more than our wedding coordinators, they became our friends. Their personalities are so calming and welcoming, which are very important qualities when dealing with a newly engaged couple. We would recommend Brookside Country Club to anyone who is ready to have an unforgettable experience. Many of our friends and family say that our wedding was one of the best that they ever attended, that the venue & property views were incredible, and that the food was out of this world, which we couldn’t agree with more! If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing.

My husband and I held our reception at Brookside Country Club this past July. From the moment we toured the facility, we fell in love with its beauty after previously touring about seven others in the area. The staff was so helpful and attentive to our every question as we worked through our plans. Our coordinator Kristin was a HUGE help to us ; she was so easy to work with and willing to go the extra mile to make our day as perfect as it was. In short, "my wish" became "her command!" Our guests loved the food and found the staff to be extremely attentive during dinner service. The set-up was just as I had asked and all of my other vendors were glad to be working with Brookside as well. I give Brookside my highest recommendation, and I am certain that future weddings will be just as tremendous as ours.

Kristin and the BCC staff did an excellent job. Everybody raved about how fun the wedding was. The food was fantastic (I would recommend the salmon). There were also great photo locations for the wedding pictures. Kristin was really on top of everything and was readily accessible to answer any questions or to adjust last minute details. Everything ran smoothly and the place looked really nice. Overall, Brookside is one of the top sites to have a wedding reception in the Lehigh Valley.

My husband and I got married at Brookside Country Club in August 2015. We had both our ceremony and reception there. It was really a wonderful experience from start to finish. Kristin Tino was our coordinator, and she was a pleasure to work with. She was always responsive to my emails and was able to answer the many questions I had. One of the great things about Brookside is that they only have one wedding on a given day, so they can devote their attention to your event. My ceremony wasn't until 5:30, but my wedding party and I were able to spend most of the day of the wedding at Brookside, getting ready and making sure the decorations were the way we wanted them. Everything was very well organized, which allowed things to run smoothly the day of the wedding. The scenery outdoors was gorgeous for the ceremony and for pictures. The cocktail hour was a perfect transition to the reception, which was so much fun that everyone was talking about it for literally weeks afterwards. I knew my wedding would be a great day, but Kristin and Brookside helped make it a truly amazing experience all around.

My husband and I got married on 7/25/15 and it was the perfect day! All of our vendors were amazing, but especially Kristin and all of the Brookside staff made our reception unforgettable. Our guests are still telling us how beautiful everything was and how amazing the food was. A lot of people commented that it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding before! Brookside was the first of many venues we looked at and nothing compared. The outside terrace was a wonderful spot for our guests to enjoy cocktail hour outdoors and they also have another beautiful room for guests to enjoy if they didn't want to be in the sun, or if it rained. The grounds make for amazing pictures! The ballroom came together beautifully and Kristin executed everything I had asked and more. Kristin was very responsive to all my emails and phone calls and was sure to get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone at Brookside who helped to make our wedding day a dream come true!

My wedding took place in May 2015. Kristin Tino was my wedding coordinator at Brookside Country Club and did a fantastic job! She was very responsive to all of my emails and took notes on all the very special details. She even made sure that my husband had a particular beverage brand (not usually carried by the club in the ice bucket at our sweetheart table). Brookside staff even arranged the groom's cake and other pastries left over to be put in to go containers for guests to take home. My husband and I were very pleased with how the reception turned out and owe all of our thanks to Kristin Tino and the wonderful staff at Brookside!

From the moment my then-fiance and I walked into Brookside, we knew it was the perfect reception venue! We got married on May 16, 2015. With a thunder storm looming, the staff was extremely accommodating (fortunately, it only rained during dinner!). Kristin Tino took over as our coordinator half-way through our planning process and everything was seamless. She was kind, professional, and did an excellent job putting together our boxes and boxes of decorations! Its been almost 3 months since our big day and we're still hearing from our guests how much they enjoyed it and we couldn't have had such a magical day if it weren't for the staff at Brookside.

When I got engaged on December 14, 2013... I did not waste much time reaching out to the main points of contact at Brookside Country Club in hopes of hosting our fall reception in their ballroom. I could not have been happier with the experience we had when planning our reception. Not only are there beautiful views, a large enough ballroom (we had about 160-170 guests but could have fit more), a well-stocked bar, but Stephanie was amazing to work with! I knew exactly (most times) what I was looking for on our day of and Stephanie was incredibly flexible to help us accomplish all that I dreamed of and more. We were able to rent Chiavari chairs to add a classic and elegant touch to the day and we even rented tan colored linens without a problem. It was great that they were so flexible with the decorations and they gave us so much freedom to make the venue look the way we wanted on the day of. The food was delicious and the service was incredible without having too many guests waiting and all my guests mentioned the food was hot and delicious once it was at their tables! We had filet mignon (with the option of having filet oscar) and salmon with a tortellini meal for any vegetarians. Everything was so delicious! I even threw them a curveball to surprise my husband.... I asked the kitchen to make cheesesteak eggrolls because they are my husband's favorite. They didn't even blink and made it happen!! It was quite memorable and delicious! We also had the chance to create a yummy fall cocktail for our signature drink that many of us were able to enjoy. Stephanie went above and beyond to provide support on the day of and worked closely with my wedding planner to make our day memorable!! I don't know if I would change a single aspect of our day!! Thank you Brookside!

We were thrilled that the wedding of our daughter and son in law was held at BCC! From start to finish it was nothing but top notch. Stephanie Lapping, the catering director, was amazing. The food was fabulous, staff impeccable and venue just beautiful. When we got off track, Stephanie gently guided us back in place. Her expertise in this field is apparent! With a little luck, some grandbabies will be in our future...we know exactly where to hold the showers! Ladies, look no further! If you truly want a top notch place for your nuptials, Brookside is it. Our guests are still talking about the fabulous event!

We have nothing but good things to say about Brookside Country Club's coordinator, Stephanie Lapping! We were truly blessed when she came to Brookside. Stephanie was wonderful to work with and she helped us plan every detail of our wedding. Even when I was having issues with my card box not arriving, Stephanie had brought her own for us to use! She did everything she could to help us have our perfect wedding. When the day had come, we couldn't have been happier with how amazing everything had turned out. It was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious! From the food, the ballroom and the friendly service our guests are still giving us compliments! Looking back on our day, we can honestly say it was a perfect day and we thank everyone at Brookside Country Club for helping make it so perfect. We would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at Brookside Country Club. It was my dream come true wedding!

It was love at first sight, when we took a tour of Brookside. Beautiful grounds and golf course-Great for taking pictures. The staff at Brookside was awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Coordinator-Stephanie. She was such a big help and made everything run smoothly. Our guests had such a great time that we ended up extending the reception. Couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Day. We recommend Brookside Country Club to anybody looking for a classy and great venue!

We got married May 17,2014 at Brookside. It was such a beautiful day. I can't say enough how perfect everything was from start to finish. We chose Brookside for many reasons the most important was that it was only our wedding that day and no other events could take place. We had the club strictly for our wedding. Stephanie, the wedding coordinator at Brookside made it happen from start to finish. We took all our stuff over a few days before the wedding, told get where to put it and the facility looked beautiful. She was on top of everything and would email or call to just touch base. The guests were impressed with the food. We had such a beautiful cocktail hour and the outside grounds at Brookside are gorgeous!!! It's a day Josh and I will never forget and I would highly recommend Brookside, it won't disappoint and I never felt stressed!!!!

The venue was gorgeous and the service was very good, with the exception of one permanently surly server who stepped on my dress and then glared at me. Be sure to get everything in writing as my lost the Catering Director less than a week prior to our wedding making the experience very stressful. Pros - Outdoor views are picturesque, indoors is spacious without being overwhelming, the younger staff is friendly and on-point Cons - We had debris from the wedding the day before, ruling out some locations at which we wanted to photograph, currently without a Catering Director, leading to communication issues
