Brown Deer Golf Club

Beautiful wooden beams spanning ballroom with great window views of the golf course! We had our wedding ceremony and reception in the ballroom on New Year's Eve. The staff were very accommodating in switching the set up from the ceremony to the reception while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in Divots restaurant also located inside the country club. They work with the Marriott in Coralville wedding planning and catering service and are great about handling all the details for you!

We had our wedding ceremony outside and our reception in the ballroom in July. The Brown Deer and Marriott staff did a wonderful job! The food was wonderful, staff were accommodating, and the view was gorgeous.

It was so lovely, they set everything up for me and took everything down so I didn't have to worry about a thing.

The facility is beautiful and all of the staff was super helpful. The Marriott planning staff were really knowledgable and were able to quickly and confidently answer any questions we had. They worked with us to make exceptions for meal prices for those who were too old to be kids but to young to drink from the open bar. They also gave us conference rooms to get ready in for no extra cost. I do not think there is any facility in the Iowa City area that provides as much service and included extras as the Marriott provides. We also were given a free hotel room for us to stay in the night of the wedding and a room to open gifts the next day.
