In our initial photographer search online, Debbie of Browne Photography was one that we both loved - her photos were so beautiful and weren't the "typical" posed photos, which is exactly what we were looking for! When we met her, we couldn't have been more excited to work with her - she was the only photographer we met with and we immediately proceeded to book her for our wedding a year later. Although our initial budget for photography was slightly less than what Debbie was charging, we decided that it was worth it to us to have the added expense for photos we would cherish forever, and we wouldn't have changed anything about our decision - she was worth every penny and we're so happy about our decision to use her! In our package, we also opted to have an engagement shoot in order to get to know Debbie better and be more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. During the engagement shoot, both my husband and I were very nervous about being the subject of the photos (given that we prefer to be on the other side of the lens!) But Debbie was amazing at providing direction to my husband and me and made us feel very comfortable the entire time. The photos turned out so well and we just knew that the wedding photos would be the same. During the planning phase, Debbie was extremely professional - great at responding to emails, following-up on outstanding items, creating a schedule for the big day. She made the wedding planning part very easy on us when it came to photography, which was greatly appreciated! The big day arrived, and Debbie (and the second shooter) did an amazing job in working with our wedding party and family to ensure they captured all the shots we wanted. She was also great at getting those random, one-off shots that really captured our personalities and those of our wedding guests. As the day ended, we knew without seeing the photos that they were going to be amazing, and we were so right! We couldn't recommend Debbie of Browne Photography more highly and plan to use her for many future family photo shoots! Thank you for everything Debbie!

My photos are beautiful and timeless. It is worth noting that I am not 100% comfortable in front of the camera, but she made me feel so at-ease. She is calculated with every single shot so I did not end up with 1000’s of duplicate photos that I had to sort through (Thank Goodness)! In all her years of experience, she has perfected the wedding timeline and posing tricks that she shared with me and my bridal party. Debbie was incredibly accommodating, accessible, professional, hard-working and all-around easy to work with during the ever-stressful wedding planning process. Her prices are more on the expensive side but remember that the food, drinks, cake, and favors – They will be gone that night; your photos will be around forever. It is worth the investment. I would chose Browne Photography to shoot my wedding a million times over, and I highly recommend you to consider her as well!

That woman will crouch in the bushes and sit on the dirty ground to get that perfect shot for you! I had both my engagement and wedding photos done by her. I felt like she listened to what moments I wanted captured. I was very into having lots of photos of my venue decor and guests, and she delivered. The attention to lighting and detail was breathtaking. Please look at her website if you have not done so... She was always professional, punctual, and made herself available to me throughout the preceding months for questions, etc. She also gave me honest and realistic feedback about the wedding day. I believe for the quality photography and service she provides, that her cost is VERY reasonable-- and she was willing to work with my budget. Just remember that photos are one of the only things you have to remember your wedding by, and it is something worth spending on! Would not hesitate to recommend Browne Photography!

we determined that we needed to reevaluate the budget and allocate more funds to the photographer column. Based on what we saw from the other four photographers we met with, you really are going to get what you pay for. After rearranging the budget and with a fresh list of photographer prospects, we called Debbie. It was a little difficult meeting with her as she lives in Atlanta and we are in Tallahassee, but we spoke on the phone at length and arranged a meeting time when she would be in town. From the first meeting we knew she was the one, her professionalism, photography style, and artistry just blew everyone else away. We signed a contract with Debbie and met with her again to talk about the photography style we would like, the posed pictures we wanted, how we wanted our album, etc. We were even able to work out a deal with her for her to photograph our rehearsal dinner. She also had her dad fly down from Michigan (I believe it was...) to be a second photographer for the wedding and rehearsal dinner. We requested very limited posed pictures as we wanted more candid shots and to spend more time with our guests than posing for pictures. Debbie had taken notes of what posed pictures we wanted with who so that the allotted time could run very smoothly and quickly and we wouldn't have to worry about it on our day. On the day of the wedding Debbie was amazing! She met with my bride at the salon to take pictures of the girls getting ready, while her dad met with the guys and me at the venue to get pictures of us getting ready. Both photographers were very hands-off as we had requested and they just put everyone at ease to go on as if they weren't there and they both were able to get some great shots this way. If I recall correctly, between the two of them they took 1,000 pictures on Friday night, and over 2,500 pictures on Saturday, which just completely blew our minds. The reason she took this many pictures is because she really cares about quality. She photographed our wedding in such a way that you could picture her photographing one of her best friends, and we really felt like we were. Saying that my bride and I would highly recommend her service is an understatement. We would give her the highest ranking in every single category, including value, we really feel like we got a great deal with her. There was not one thing that we would change in regards to our photographer choice, except for the fact that we wish we hadn't wasted so much time interviewing the "other guys" in the Tallahassee area. If you choose Browne Photography, you will not be disappointed.
