and on top of that, he is incredibly kind and easy to talk to. We asked him to add our dog into the painting, despite the fact our dog was not present when the photo was taken and he did it and it came out AMAZING! Seriously, cannot recommend him enough. I'll cherish this painting for a lifetime.

live. At our initial consultation, Lothar made everything so simple. He asked what we were looking for, how we wanted him to interact at the wedding, from what angle we wanted the painting, who would be included in it, etc. His presence at the wedding was wonderful for two reasons. First, it was unbelievable that guests could watch him work on the painting at the reception, and second, that he that he spoke with everyone that stopped by to watch. Everyone enjoyed his wonderful personality-he truly felt like a guest. Our painting is gorgeous and captured the moment and feeling of our wedding perfectly. It takes us back to our special day in a way that no photograph could ever do. If you are thinking about doing this for your wedding, don’t think any more, just go for it.

The best part about a live painter at the wedding the fact that you have a family heirloom in your family for eternity. The wedding day snaps by, but having a gorgeous piece of art from a classically trained artist is something unique. Most people were in awe of his work that he was creating right before the guests very eyes. Lothar would not hand over the painting until it was perfected by him. You should truly consider a live wedding painter, but one who is trained in plain air art is something you can rarely find! Use Lothar, he is the best!
