d them FLAWLESSLY! I loved how she would brainstorm with me on what each look could be, all while making sure I still looked natural and like myself, which was a huge priority for me. As a south asian bride with 3 events in my wedding weekend, I spent a lot of time with Chanel and she was so caring and sweet the entire time. She always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed while in her chair. I felt so pampered, had great/fun conversations, and knew I was in great hands. Cannot recommend Chanel enough!!

of makeup on a regular basis. I'm very picky about how other makeup artists have done my makeup in the past. I conveyed to Chanel my looks and she got it right away, within just a few minutes of explanation and sending her pictures. I actually didn't even really see my look throughout the entire process, which made me nervous but I realized that I didn't need to because when she turned me around for the final reveal, I was BLOWN AWAY. I didn't even have a critique because she made everything look perfect. I walked into my wedding with confidence in her abilities after that. Again, for the wedding I got endless compliments about my looks. For my wedding week I again didn't even look at what Chanel was doing or nervous about it at all, because in the end, every look was stunning. I felt so confident and beautiful for my wedding weekend. Her and her team are incredible to work with, very professional and sweet. Her assistant glammed my mom as well, who is equally picky if not more, and my mom was in SHOCK, she looked absolutely beautiful. Wish she could do my makeup/hair everyday!!

when we had to do a last minute trial re-schedule due to weather, and did awesome work on my hair as well as all my bridesmaids! Breanna was our makeup artist and we looked flawless! I was so impressed and so happy with how everything turned out. They were punctual, organized, got everyone done on time and were overall just fun to be around. My hair has always had trouble holding curls and I asked Chanel to work her magic and of course everything with our hair and makeup lasted the entire day! She did an amazing job matching our skin tones and creating full face works of art!! Our makeup lasted throughout my entire 14+ hour event and was easy to remove at the end of the night. Also with hairstyles they created amazing Hollywood waves for myself and a wide variety of personalized hairstyles for all of my ladies too. I love that chanel took her her time to come and personally inspect and touch up every individual that received makeup services that day. She is super sweet, accommodating and works with you to achieve your full bridal vision. She is amazingly talented and you won't regret having her by your side on your BIG DAY!! I am extremely introverted in nature however Chanel ability to icebreak with her charismatic nature drew me in right away and I felt comfortable with her almost immediately and for me that is not easy to do. Due to a few wedding day hiccups my mom and sister were running over an hour late and Makki so graciously and willingly awaited that hour until my family returned. We talked like family and our conversation even helped to calm some of my wedding day jitters getting my mind off of all the festivities to come. Chanel totally perfected me on my wedding day , my husband who is a not a make up kind of guy was floored by my make up on my wedding day. His words to be exact , “Your make up artist came through” and he never uses phrases like that. You know your make up is bomb when you are willing to sleep in it and risk the make up seeking into your pores and causing future breakouts because you don’t want to take it off. I’m totally guilty. I HIGHLY recommend BRUSHED not only does her work speak volumes for itself , she is just a pleasure, after working with her you feel like she is family. Totally consider a trial with her future brides or any of you whom is looking for an artist for your special occasion you will not be disappointed. I was glowing on my wedding day.

Once we had a wedding date set, I knew I had to contact her for a bridal trial. I was able to work with her assistant and seamlessly book my service. When we met she was so kind and personable and instantly made me feel comfortable. To be honest, I’ve had my makeup done a lot for jobs, and I usually don’t like the way MUAs do my face. I can tell you with certainty that this was not the case with chanel! The trial makeup was absolutely gorgeous and I knew that I had to book her for my wedding. Due to Covid, our wedding date was a bit of a moving target and we decided to preserve our original date as well as host a larger wedding later in the year. Chanel was so flexible and good to work with throughout it all, and we will definitely be using her for our larger celebration! My make up for our smaller wedding day was even more glamorous and flawless and I felt and looked so beautiful. She arrived at our hotel early, and took her time ensuring that my make up was perfect while still keeping us on schedule. She even stayed a little longer to do touch-ups during my getting ready portraits. Do not hesitate to book this absolute gem of a woman and MUA; she has blessed hands and a beautiful spirit-you won’t regret it!

knew Chanel (owner) from college, so I knew I wanted to check out her business, but everything was flawless and she made the decision to go with Brushed very easy. The Administrative team was great to work with in terms of coordinating everything, she was extremely professional and helpful. My hair and makeup trial was the most fun experience! They gave my bridesmaid and I champagne while trying out different looks. The day of the wedding I had Elizabeth (hair) and Brandi (makeup) as my primary stylists and they did an incredible job! Not only were they ahead of schedule, but my hair and makeup stayed the entire day/evening so I couldn't be happier! If you have the chance to work with them, I highly recommend it!

first, I was truly nervous due to time but at true same time, I trusted Brushed because Chanel is so good at what she do + we only requested natural glam. The morning was CRAZY due to many girly personalities lol but it was so fun! Brushed worked their a*** off!! They got all of 19 of us out the door by 8:00 am!! I received lashes as well + the cutest touch up bags If you are looking for a team that can handle a large group, I would definitely consider Brushed! From diverse artist, speed, makeup & hair looking good at 8:00am. I was honestly happy with our sercuce

3 showed up. For some reason the 4th artist "didn't answer her phone"/ just didn't show up and the owner could not get a hold of them. This put us very behind schedule getting hair and make up done, and we had 10 bridesmaids! They only allotted 30 mins for each service, but artists took around 1 hour to do hair or make up, then there were 5 bridesmaids who didn't have any hair or make up done in the last hour. So then once the day of coordinator arrived, she ordered the artists to work fast on us. I ended up with a poor hair and make up service. The makeup was not applied very evenly and I was not offered fake lashes by my artist (even though they were included in the service), I had to ask another makeup artist for the lashes. The hair stylist also only curled half of my hair in a half up/half down look, and left most of my hair straight on the bottom. I had to ask another hair artist to retouch/redo curling my hair. Overall this made the morning very stressful if all of us were going to get our hair and make up done. We all got it done, but only 5 people got good service, and the other 5 had half done/mediocre looks. Was overall not worth the $175 for both hair and make up and I would not recommend to others.

hey did for me for all 4 of my events were different, glamorous, beautiful, and perfect. My number one fear when looking for MUAH artists was me not looking like myself. They listened to that fear and they perfected every single look! Not only is their work FABULOUS, they are so great to be around! They are funny and I was so comfortable around them. I wish I could get married over and over again just so I can keep hiring them! If you are on the fence or looking around for MUAH for your wedding or any event, look no further. Brushed is truly the BEST around. They book up fast (because they are SO good) so book soon! It'll be the best/easiest decision you'll make!
