I hired Rosina after finding her through The Knot, and I am so glad I did. She was great to work with, extremely transparent about pricing, and willing to work with my ideas and vi...
sion for the getting-ready process. Being of Asian descent, I wanted an Asian makeup artist, especially since my entire bridal party was from a diverse range of ethnicities. Rosina was quick and efficient and made excellent recommendations to ensure we had a successful makeup day. I highly recommend her!
I LOVED working with Rosina and team! They were so efficient, and we never felt rushed. I loved my look and my makeup stayed on the whole night! I’m not a lash girlie but the ones ...
she put on me felt so natural and also stayed on the whole night. I was sweating and jumping around on the dance floor and the makeup/hair did not budge! I have really thick hair and they were able to work with it so it stayed in place. They were really great at accommodating to everyone’s preferences. 10/10 would highly recommend!
Rosina is really professional, friendly, artistic, reliable. We was pleased with my mother and sisters makeup for my wedding. She really listens to your needs and gets it right. Wo...
uld definitely recommend Rosina. Thanks again.
Brushes and Roses work was amazing with my makeup and my bridesmaids! They arrived early to set up and were ready for all the girls, they kept everything well-organized and clean. ...
I strongly refer her and her team to anyone. She understood the style I was looking for my bridesmaids and for myself. My veil was a bit heavy that it pulled my bun down a bit but Rosie was there to re-secure the bun and it lasted for the whole night. 🫶🏼
I really enjoyed working with Rosina, she was very flexible and accommodating in helping me achieve the ideal look for my wedding. She even allowed me to book a second makeup free ...
of charge and squeezed me in to a busy day for her so we could figure out the best look for me. I chose this business because, as a woman of color, in the makeup world it is hard to find people who are comfortable and proficient in working with darker skin tones and hyperpigmentation. Just from looking at Rosina's social media pages it was clear that she has worked with people from all backgrounds and was more than capable of handling my skin and complexion with the detail necessary.
I found Rosina to be incredibly communicative, responsive, responsible and respectful. Would highly recommend!
Rosina and Ashley are both very kind and talented. Ashley made mine and my bridal parties hair ideas come to life! All our hairstyles withstood the Texas outdoor humidity. Rosina i...
s wonderful at makeup! She made me standout as a beautiful bride, but also made me feel and look like myself. Rosina is very professional and communicative through the booking, trail and wedding day process. I would love to have Brushes and Roses a part of my wedding day all over again!
Booked my bridal trial back in July when I came down to Houston! Rosina and Lily were amazing!! I was genuinely so curious about airbrushed makeup, Rosina answered all my questions...
. As an Asian American I was worried about someone being able to do my makeup as previous times I've had it done I did not like it. Rosina reassured me at every step, and was professional throughout the entire process. My makeup and hair lasted all afternoon and night. I had Rosina travel to Banff for my wedding, and she updated me leading up to the wedding day. So thankful for her and if you're a nervous/anxious girl like me book her!!!
Loved my experience with Brushes and Roses! Rosina and her team was amazing, my bridal trial was amazing and the salon space was so cute! Along with discussing airbrush and traditi...
onal makeup options, Rosina even had a veil for me to try on to help me decide if I wanted a veil with my half up half down on my wedding day. So glad she did because it helped me make a much easier decision with the veil I originally wanted. My hair and makeup stayed on all day, even my LIPSTICK!! I had worried about finding a hair and makeup team for my large bridal party, since there was a total of eleven of us and I had a diverse group of ladies. Rosina did an absolutely amazing job on all of us, and had all of the foundation colors needed. She is fully equipped and prepared, not only was she professional but super comforting to all my concerns and questions leading up to the big day.
Rosina & Lily. Professionalism, well educated on the high end products & breaking it down in simple terms for us to understand (I can highly appreciate that), while having a clear...
communication of expectations from start to end, how to handle deposits & always keeping up in the loop! 10/10 recommendation! You can’t beat a first time memorable moment & I was glad they were able to aid us in this.

Rosina was the perfect MUA for my big day! Not only did she complete 10 women in under 7 hours, she was extremely knowledgeable in techniques to use and what would look best with t...
he diverse group of girls I had. She uses quality products and everyone looked absolutely beautiful! My makeup lasted all day and still looked perfect after hours of dancing and the Texas summer heat! She has a team of women for hair services who were also incredible! I’d chose Brushes and Roses over and over!
Rosina has done my makeup for my Nikkah (Islamic Marriage Ceremony - Husband's Side), engagement photos, bridal portraits, and both our destination wedding in Italy and our wedding...
party in the states. Every single time, she has nailed the look. My husband always is taken back, all the guests asked me who did my makeup, and our photos are BEAUTIFUL! She also assisted in the taping issues, make sure I had the right glow on my arms and chest for the photos, and handled my zipper fiasco (resulting in her having to pin me in my dress). She stepped in where the coordinators did not and eased the tension. I could not have asked for a better MUA!
