My updo did fall a bit over the night, but more so because I had trouble getting my veil out after the ceremony which pulled some pins loose, than through any fault of Kisha's. It was a bit windy and cold outside taking pictures but my hair and makeup stayed perfectly in place. Hair and make - up for the whole bridal party was beautiful. Even during the day we had a slight hick-up with scheduling and Faith graciously work with us to accommodate everyone. The groom later confessed that not only did his bride bring tears to his eyes when he saw her, but was in awe of how beautiful and stunning the entire bridal party was.

o I knew what I was looking at up front. I spoke with one of the owners Christine and did the trial at her house with Amber. They were both listened to what I wanted (which I did not have at the previous place!). I even texted amber a couple times about tweeks who the style of hair and makeup. She offered to style a mannequin so I could get an idea what the hair changes would look like before the big day. Patti one of the owners called and broke down the invoice and got the timeline in place. She was so willing to work with me on so many things! She has been so helpful in making this a smooth process! After some anxiety and miscommunication about how I wanted my hair and makeup with a different artist, Katia really felt like a superhero. She was patient in listening to what I wanted and checked in with what I thought and how I was feeling. She practiced on a mannequin before trying the up-do I wanted on me and sent pictures to make sure she was understanding what I wanted. She was attentive, kind, and super helpful. my artist, Kisha. And it was a match made in heaven. I had a hair/makeup trial and Kisha made my vision come to life her first run through. I had never felt so beautiful. Besides myself, I was getting services for 10 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and 1 grandmother. Patti provided excellent communication during scheduling and was so prompt, patient and professional. She genuinely cares and it showed! Now, my bridesmaids are tough when it comes to hair/makeup - they know their stuff. They couldn't stop taking selfies - they were OBSESSED. Separately, the mothers and grandmother were treated with such care and love. Major shout out to Rebecca, Kisha and Maria! My mom, specifically, never had her hair/makeup done before and was very nervous about the experience. Kisha soothed her and talked her through the experience. Her beauty shined. I've never seen my mom radiate like that - and that was a gift in itself. Plus, Rebecca, Kisha and Maria had a blast getting hype during the morning "getting ready" portion. Because after all, it should be a party! So between my bridal party feeling glamorous, my mom radiating and my husband's first reaction during our first look being WOW - I have to say Brushworx was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding. My mom and I decided on completely different hair styles the day of my wedding, and Shannon executed it flawlessly and I was obsessed with how my hair and makeup turned out! Even in 96 degree Georgia heat, both my hair & makeup held up and I honestly couldn't believe it. Not to mention, I have extremely thick hair and was worried my hair down wouldn't hold a curl well all night with the heat, but I trusted Shannon and sure enough, I was able to get the look I had always imagined. My mom loved her and my bridesmaids were so happy with their glam. I have a very high maintenance crew, so this was HUGE. I had two other brushworx team members do my bridesmaids hair and makeup and they all raved about how much they loved their hair/makeup. They all looked stunning! My lashes fell off halfway through the night and the eyeshadow was meh. Two of my bridesmaids were happy with their look, the other two thought it was way too overpriced. I have to agree that for the price, the quality was not that great, and I would have tried elsewhere.
