Hey there, I’m Emily. …and I’m the brain behind Brustoski Studios! My creative story begins in my childhood where I spent my days inventing household contraptions, most notably a space helmet cut from a cardboard box and Ziploc bags. While I’ve since moved on from my dreams of space expedition (Although NASA, if you’re reading this, my girlfriend and I kind of want to fly to Saturn), life has led me to this new passion of filmmaking that fulfills my deep desire to create. In 2017, a couple of years after I first picked up a camera, I found myself shooting a wedding in the town I grew up in and the rest is history! On a typical day, my schedule may also include road-tripping in a van older than I am, taking 35mm film portraits of my lovely girlfriend, and having lazy Sundays with a book in my left hand, an acoustic guitar in my right.
