About this vendor
Offering distinctly creative and timelessly beautiful images of Weddings, Portraits, and Engagements to St. Louis, Southern Illinois, Springfield, and beyond.
As a photographer committed wholly to my craft, I strive to approach every wedding differently. Your day, your relationship, and your family all come together to create a day and an event like no other, and it deserves to be photographed as such.
You'll find that I mostly share portraits, as that's where my direction and vision come through the most. However, I'm there for the other 90% of the wedding day, too. The raw moments, emotions, and excitement all make their way to my lens as well. I'm happy to share full galleries, so you can see all aspects of a wedding I photograph, upon request. My studio also offers second shooters, engagement shoots, albums, and more, so you can rest assured that your wedding will be documented and remembered for generations to come.
Maybe my style is for you! If it is, I sincerely hope we talk soon.

There honestly aren't enough good things we could say about Bryson to reflect how happy we are with our experience with him. From our initial consultation meeting, my wife and I kn...
ew that he was passionate about what he does and that we wanted him to be the person to shoot our wedding. His pricing was extremely transparent, and although pricey (because we picked a top package), he helped make sure we felt confident in the value he was going to bring and that we knew everything we would get in that package. From there we sort of just leapt off the deep end clinging to "you get what you pay for". Once we had our engagement shoot, my wife and I were confident in our decision and all we could say was "man this guy is awesome". After getting to know Bryson I can say that he truly thinks of photography in terms of a story and wants to fully understand that story before he ever gets behind a lens. During our engagement shoot, he made it a point to interact with our son and overall just always maintained great energy. We had a bit of chaos on the morning of our wedding which resulted in us losing a secondary photographer, at no fault of Bryson. He stayed calm, pivoted as needed, and let everyone know that he was locked in and ready to make it a great day. This man was virtually unphased and made the day appear to go exactly how it was always planned to go without any change of attitude. By the end of the night it felt like he was less and less of a photographer and more of a wedding guest. He's interacting with kids, the wedding party, and family to get true, authentic joy out of people. We haven't seen the final wedding photos yet but based on the sneak peeks on Instagram we know that they are going to be incredible. If you're thinking about hiring Bryson, just trust your gut and you wont regret it.

ad all my photos back to write a review (great work takes time) but I know they’ll be stunning and my sneak peeks were perfect. I’ve had several people comment on how vibrant and fun my sneak peeks turned out.
At the end of the day, Bryson was exactly who I wanted to spend my wedding day with and you should hire him too!!

hat’s how much I think you need this information. He takes incredible photos, full of thought and intention. They are artsy, unique, and will be more than just your average wedding photo. Bryson made the day so much less stressful. He anticipated all our needs, checked in with us, and made sure we not only enjoyed our photos, but enjoyed our wedding day. He communicated wonderfully and clearly not only during the wedding but pre wedding as well. He is 100000000% the photographer you need and worth every penny. Every member of our bridal party and our parents told us during our big day that they loved him, his vibe, and how easy and relaxed he made the day. You’ll feel like friends by the end of the night and be sad he’s leaving. Just book him. You won’t regret it.
There isn’t enough space to write how great our experience with Bryson was! He did both our engagement shoot and our wedding. Bryson did such a great job at making us, two very cam...
era shy people, feel and look so comfortable! Bryson’s fun and full of life style is what drew us to him and it displayed our personalities on camera so perfectly! It was so much fun watching his creativity strike and seeing what photos he came up with! His second shooter was also so wonderful, on a day full of nerves and excitement, he made sure we had plenty of water during pictures and my dress wasn’t getting dirty through the grassy venue! We just received our photo book as well and I’m obsessed. The quality of the pages and photos on them is amazing and the beautiful leather with embossed initials is just the cherry on top. I can’t wait to show everyone forever! I truly can’t recommend Bryson enough, a must have for a wedding in my books!

ed a B&W photo in color, he was so responsive and helped us figure out whatever we needed help with. He led us to our DJ who made our night so amazing, too. And our photos are simply awesome. We cannot recommend him enough!

Bryson delivers top notch AND personalized photos to all his couples. You will think your wedding was in a magazine, and I’m not joking. What better way to remember the biggest day of your life than with the best pictures ever?
Book Bryson. Not only will he deliver phenomenal pictures, but he will genuinely make your entire day funner and more memorable.
We hired Bryson for our engagement, micro-wedding, and reception (held a year later from our wedding). From the introductory call to wedding day part two, Bryson was a dream to wo...
rk with! His professionalism is matched by his outgoing, easy personality--you feel from the start that not only are you in amazing hands, but you are going to have a blast working with him. Bryson makes the planning stages so easy, and truly listens to what types of photos you want to capture on your big day(s). He has an excellent command of the session and the spaces you select to shoot in, and he is able to make you and your partner feel comfortable in front of the camera. He also does an fantastic job wrangling the family for photos-- which was no easy feat with my Husband's large family. An additional plus--we got our photos back so quickly!
We were so happy that we found Bryson, and we cannot recommend him enough!!

makes each couple feel so special. He was a huge help with planning the timeline of the day, and kept our day running smoothly. He listened to each request we had, and caught every detail from our big day. Without Bryson, our wedding day would not have been what it was. He is so talented with his work and he is a great person overall. Bryson helped our big day come to life. Working with Bryson comes with laughs, love, and comfort. He made us, our bridal party, and families have a wonderful experience at our wedding. Even our guests spoke highly of him and his incredible work he did with our wedding. We absolutely adore Bryson and can't wait to work with him in our future as well. He is a must have for your big day!

ened it up to us for questions. No other photographers we reached out to did anything like this with us, so we knew Bryson was the one we wanted. He kept in contact with us throughout our wedding planning and created the wedding day schedule with us! We did utilize Bryson for photography and videography and brought along Steven, who was amazing as well. I cannot say enough great things about the duo! They made us and our bridal party feel very comfortable even though it was snowing and freezing outside. If you want amazing photos from a photographer who will take great care of you, then choose Bryson! You won’t regret it!
Holy cow guys, Bryson is AWESOME!!! From the very start, he took time to get to know my fiancé and I as a couple, remembered little details about us, and honestly just felt like a ...
friend shooting video with us on our wedding day. He’s super professional, energetic, personable, and just a delight to be around. I was surprised that he even brought a drone with him for our wedding video (SO cool!!!) and his second shooter Steven was awesome too. Our August wedding was freakin HOT. and Steven noticed I was dying a little bit during portraits, so he left to go get us all water ❤️ they were so accommodating and empathetic. it was an amazing day, these guys rocked it, and I couldn’t recommend them more. Hire Bryson and thank me later!!!

Bryson got the best pictures I've ever seen. He has an amazing eye for unique shots and good lighting. 10/10 would recommend
How do I put into words how awesome Bryson is!? From day 1, he made us feel so comfortable, and even though we did not do an engagement session with him, on our wedding day, it was...
like he was one of our life-long friends. He captured our love so perfectly. We are blown away by how beautiful the first several photos have looked, and we are soooo excited to see the rest.
We’ve received so many compliments on not just Bryson’s photos but his charisma and professionalism the day of the wedding. We had a bridal party of 20, so I’m sure wrangling that many people for pictures is not easy, but Bryson did it so efficiently and with a big smile on his face all day.
We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience using Bryson as our wedding photographer, and (one of my high school friends used this phrase, but it’s so true) you’d seriously be doing yourself a disservice by not hiring him.
My fiancé and I were weighing our options for a photographer when we (or rather my fiancé) came across an add on Facebook for Bryson's photography business. My fiancé was so happy ...
to have come across him because his work showcased more than just portraits and brought character and creativity. He also has shot a wedding at our venue, Silver Oaks Chateau. I agreed he was the best for the job. Bryson has been prompt, friendly, professional, and just easy to work with. He was so nice to include an engagement photo as part of our package, and he killed it even though part of our shoot was in 5 degree weather. (He also went above and beyond to find a venue that would let us take photos in their establishment for FREE, so that our three year old could be apart of the shoot.) He didn't once make it seem as if he was unpleased. He was just ready to go to work. Our photos are BEAUTIFUL! I cannot wait until he captures the wedding and I'll be back with another review.
I wish you could choose more than 5 stars in this review. Bryson is absolutely incredible and we could not of asked for a better photographer for our engagement session and weddin...
g day. Bryson is extremely talented but even more so incredibly hard working. My husband and I both would say we're not super comfortable in front of the camera, but Bryson made taking photos feel so effortless and relaxed. I truly feel like he captured our personalities in every photo. Long story short, we will treasure these photos forever. We love looking at them and being taken back to our big day. Choosing Bryson as our photographer was truly one of the best decisions we made. Thanks for EVERYTHING Bryson! :)

extremely talented and we absolutely love every photo he provided us. We brought him on our party bus with us and he was able to capture a few of the most fond moments from our day. You won’t be sorry for booking with Bryson! 13/10 recommend!
Go with your gut on this one.
I can't say anything but wonderful things about Bryson Buehrer Photography. With the chaos of planning and just the actual day of the wedding, he made my husband and I feel so comf...
ortable. With the feeling of needing everything "perfect" he not only got some beautiful shots, but also captured the emotion between us as well as our guests. Our wedding had a very intimate setting and he was more part of the group rather than an awkward extension while still maintaining complete professionalism. I could go on and on, but ultimately, he is fantastic and I would absolutely recommend him for your big day!
