Wow. Enrique (of BTL DJs) was amazing from the beginning of our wedding ceremony all the way through the end of our reception. He created and sustained the mood for every moment of our wedding with appropriate cocktail music, dinner music, cake-cutting music and then, of course, dance music. He kept the party going and once it started, no one left the dance floor for the rest of the night. Everyone complimented us for picking Enrique, but the kudos really goes to Enrique. You couldn't pick a better DJ -- and we will definitely be calling Enrique again the next time we have an event.

BTL DJs played our wedding reception. Enrique read the crowd perfectly. He had everyone dancing almost the entire time. Even the grandparents. His song selections were spot on. And surprisingly brought a photographer along. He made the party extra special for us. And even several staff members at the reception restaurant told me they enjoyed the music. BTL-DJs are a well oiled machine. From the music, the set-up, the Photo Booth and even their own photos of us on the dance floor, they had our reception handled! They were old-school professionals. I feel so lucky to have come across reviews for BTL DJs when looking for a DJ on the Knot. Enrique and Hector (MC) were absolutely wonderful and made our wedding reception so much fun. So many of our guests were telling us that we had an awesome DJ & MC and we completely agreed. Our guests were a little shy to get on the dance floor initially but Hector made sure to get almost every guest on that dance floor by the end of the reception. We completely recommend BTL DJs. After weeks of searching for a wedding DJ for my 12/5/15 wedding I had just about run out of hope before I stumbled across BTL DJ's website. With just a little under 5 weeks until our wedding I was just about crazy. I called and spoke with Enrique who was probably the most polite and down to earth person running a business I've ever talked to and met. He was SUPER friendly and he understood that time was of the essence since my wedding was fast approaching. We spoke on the phone and even though it was short notice he just thanked me for calling and not once put pressure on me to pick his company. I made the decision to use BTL after looking up reviews and meeting Enrique in person. He was easy to talk to and funny. He assured me he would take care of the reception, he helped my fiancé and I pick our music and basically he planned our entire reception. Literally sat down with us and helped us fill out the forms even gave suggestions to things I didn't think about. I was so nervous I called and texted him for days up until. He told me I was not bothering him and not to worry. My reception was an ABSOLUTE HIT!! The music was great and the uplighting by his team was phenomenal(go with the uplighting and custom gobo package you will not regret it). Enrique was the DJ and Hector was our MC. Hector worked the crowd and had everyone dancing. HE IS THE MAN! Enrique played straight classics and he really took into consideration my husbands old school taste in music and our request to have hatiain music. He really honored our request and made our reception AWESOME. I'm so thankful that we chose them bc I cant imagine what it would have been like. Absolutely professional, WELL DRESSED gentleman who know how to throw a party. Enrique was awesome from the very first meeting my husband and I had with him. He gave excellent suggestions and just had a really nice vibe.I was at times indecisive and at all times stressed lol. We also had a newborn, our son was 6 months on our wedding day- he gave great input on how to include him throughout the day. Enrique remained patient throughout the whole proccess. Our wedding day was amazing, he surprised us by bringing his partner as an MC. He also kept us and all the other vendors on a tight timeline so that nothing would feel rushed. My husband's last name is Jackson, he beautifully customized a Fabolous lyric that looped "how would you like it if both of our names had Jackson on the end" for our reception entrance. That moment was so amazing. He kept the crowd dancing and delivered more than he promised. Most importantly, we never felt any reservations or that we were being taking advantage of-as can be the case with vendors. BTL DJS operate with integrity and transparency. I can not say enough wonderful words about BTL Dj's. We were impressed from our first meeting with Enrique! BTL is very organized, and they really tailor the music your taste as a couple and the crowd at your wedding. We had a very intimate wedding, and we are so glad that we got BTL Dj's. They really made the party and got everyone dancing, including the older folks. It has been a few months since our wedding and guests are still complimenting us on our fun Dj! We debated getting a band, and BTL Dj's was more fun and interactive than any wedding band! "I've been to many weddings and they're by far one of the best DJS!!" That was what I've heard from various guests. Enrique and Vince were a masterful duo and got the party started and got the crowd going until the night was over. I would love to leave a glowing review but unfortunately, that will not be the case. We booked BTL DJs to DJ our ceremony and reception. Everything was fine when we met up with one of the DJs, Enrique, the months leading up to our wedding. On two separate occasions, my now husband and I met with Enrique to discuss what we were looking for, for our wedding day and our meetings went well. He seemed to understand what we were looking for and I felt we vibed well. During our final meeting, which took place a few weeks before our wedding, Enrique jotted down the songs that we wanted played for specific moments like the garter and bouquet toss. On the day of our wedding, the ceremony went perfectly. However, for our reception, songs that were supposed to be played weren't, songs that were arranged to be played at certain moments were played out of the order specified, and worse of all the DJ and MC that we were told would be there were not. In fact, we had never (and never did) speak to the DJ. The MC we spoke to literally minutes before the reception started. Speeches that should have been given never happened such as our Thank you speeches and dinner music was never played, it was a straight party from the moment we sat down and after the maid of honor and best man toasts. We never even received a follow up call or email from Enrique to find out how everything went knowing that he promised he would be there to DJ our reception but never arrived. All wasn't lost, however, since our guests did enjoy themselves but a real professional ensures that their clients are satisfied from the time they sign the contract to after the day is over and that is not the type of professionalism we received. My advice to future couples who plan to book BTL DJs to DJ their wedding is to make sure that the person you are meeting with is the person who will DJ your event. This way, you'll know that what you discuss will be exactly what comes to fruition. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend BTL DJs to my family or friends.

Excellent service! Our family and friends raved about how great the music was and how excellent the services provided BTL DJs was. Our guests continuously tell us how much of a blast they had at our wedding! Our guests indicated that at no point they were bored as they have usually felt at times in other weddings. A lot had to do with Enrique’s (Owner and DJ) advice as far as where to include dance sets throughout the reception/dinner hours. Vince (MC) was extremely personable and energetic. He made sure the guests were always involved in all the planned events. Enrique and Vince make a great team! They worked with the maitr’d to ensure everything went as planned and by the timeline. Our guests have continue to tell us how lively our MC was and how great the music was. BTL DJS did an excellent job all around. The gobo and up lighting setting were amazing!! We were very picky when selecting our DJ services because we knew that the music and dance experience was one of the most important on the wedding day; we wanted it to truly be a party! Enrique and Vince were very professional and accommodating when it came to our requests. We were very specific with the music we wanted played. My family is Dominican and my husband's family is Filipino; they were able to incorporate some Spanish music seamlessly to the reception music. They stuck to our Must Play list as well as our Do Not Play list. All songs played were mixed skillfully with smooth transitions. My guests were dancing the whole time and I was so excited to not see many people sitting down and on the dance floor instead! The MC had the perfect amount of involvement with our guests, they do exactly what you tell them you need for your wedding, whether it be a lot or no involvement. They also provided up-lighting for our reception and it was done very tastefully. Overall, when I think back to my wedding reception, I remember dancing non-stop and having a blast. Several of my guests said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding!

From the start of our wedding planning to the last song of our special day only one word can describe this company. Professionalism. From Enrique Colon to DJ Robbieo, & MC Johhnny. These guys know what they are doing and guaranteed that all will go well on your special day. Every detail small or big was handled with care. Enrique has so much insight in dealing with weddings it felt as if he was our wedding planner. He had great ideas and was always honest with us which meant the world to us. The Dj kept the crowd dancing and mixed every song we wanted to hear. MC Johhnny was on point the whole night. Keeping the crowd engaged, he nailed ever pronunciation of the names in the wedding party (which is not easy at all to do with our family names). I told him when the night was "how did you do that?, you nailed every name" His response was "3 months of practice". Wow that's dedication that's A+ service. I used BTL DJS for my wedding in April 2015 and could not say enough amazing things about the company. They were the easiest company to work with from start to finish. We worked directly with owner Enrique and he helped plan our wedding! DJ Rbobert & MC Johhny were INCREDIBLE and kept the party going all night long! I found their prices very reasonable and guests continue to rave about the music. My parents, who beforehand, were nervous about us not playing enough songs "for them" were thrilled with the music in the end. My parents and their friends danced the night away!

I’m a dancer, my husband is not. Enrique was able to pull song selections out of us both. He was always on time for our meetings (more than we can say for ourselves) and was able to demonstrate how he would transition from song to song. He made plenty of helpful suggestions. He was always responsive and I never had to worry about the status of things. They reads the crowd and had folks on dance floor most of the night. The improved our “Shoe-ly-wed Game” which was nice and made a great time out of our limited help. We really had no idea how much detail was involved but they had everything timed and ready to go. I didn’t meet the MC until the wedding day but he had great energy and very professional. He was so hype and exciting and he and Enrique work very well together. BTL has many other capabilities and services: Lighting, Furniture rental, TV screens, etc. We did take advantage of the DJ & lighting package which included around 20 uplights, screens, etc. If I had to complain about anything (and there isn’t much to complain about): He was a stickler on getting some song selections needed for the event, some of which didn’t get played. There were some mic issues during the ceremony, but there was nothing anyone could do about it. Overall: I would definitely recommend. I believe we got great professional service for the price, which based on my comparisons, were much less than some other wedding djs.

Enrique from BTL DJs and his MC came through for my wedding at the last minute. He put us at ease by assuring he will be there for my big day. We went over song list, entrances and spoke about a few ideas during the party that I think showed professionalism when it comes to doing weddings. We used BTL DJs for our reception and are very happy with our choice. The team is very professional and did a great job. We had some delays in the ceremony and, therefore, delays in the evening. Despite the hiccups, Enrique was very responsive and helped us get (literally) everyone up and dancing within one minute of the music playing. He also worked with us closely during the whole planning process and was flexible with our requests.

Enrique is truly a professional. He was incredibly flexible; meeting on weekend mornings, weekday late nights- even driving to my office so we could meet closeby! I live in a small town in Connecticut with not many djs and he came from NYC which is almost 2 hours away. Enrique communicated with me through email and text, and phone calls and was always available for me. He also put together a great mix for my husband and i to do our first dance too and it was amazing. He made sure that the entertainment was the best part because it meant so much too me. My guests were just blown away.

BTL DJS was great! I was so overwhelmed with planning every detail of the wedding but when it came time to meet with Enrique, he made the whole process easy regarding our music that night. He was great at reading our guests and knew exactly when to change up the music. We have quite an eclectic mix of friends and family from California, Texas, NYC, Miami and Chicago so getting everyone on the dance floor was quite the task. Enrique nailed it!! We had a unique wedding that needed specifica Indian music. I sent him the music and he was very accommodating and extremely easy to work with. He took the time to convert and clean up each track to make the sound quality perfect. Then, during the wedding, he mixed in American music perfectly to get the crowd involved. We worked with BTLDJS for our 2/22 wedding and it was the seriously the BEST decision of all our vendors. We had a great venue but feel like even if we had the wedding in our basement, they would have still been the heart of the party!! We met with Enrique (the DJ) 3 times before our actual wedding day to discuss and plan what we wanted. He was professional yet fun and engaging every time. He gave us a magazine with useful information and suggested songs on our first meeting and really invested a lot of time (this was before we even booked him - he is very special and we can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work!). We chose the Timeless Wedding Package and it was beyond amazing. Uplights surrounded the room beautifully and the set-up was gorgeous. Their team seriously added to the decor of the entire room and brought the party! Enrique even played 2 self-made videos for us on the 2 big screens and everyone loved it! Everything was timed perfectly and the flow was amazing. Guests told us they LOVED our DJ - we just kept hearing "who's your DJ? We LOVE the music!!" The transitions were amazing and friends and family described them as "cool, because you know some DJs are stuck up and don't listen to you. We were talking to him behind the screens!" Vince was our MC and he was equally amazing; dancing and being interactive! People from different sides of the family were convinced that he was a family member they didn't know... that's how seamless it was.. yet SO professional. He announced everything with perfect precision and even presented corsages to special ladies in my family. By the end of the night we did feel like they were family, they had been there all day long - even during the ceremony taking pictures and just getting a feel for the whole event :-) Before I write a book... I just want to say that we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this amazing team... For any event in the future we want them!!

We hired Enrique to provide music during our cocktail hour, reception and sound during the ceremony. Enrique was extremely easy to work with and 100% behind customizing the wedding and ambiance we wanted. He was super communicative and on-time to discuss the details of the entertainment side of the wedding. Enrique planning guide was extremely helpful in determining what elements we wanted, which we wanted to skip, and called our attention to some specific moments during the reception for which we could choose specific songs (like cake cutting and our exit). Enrique was easily accessible and communicative throughout the entire process and made the entertainment portion of our wedding a breeze.

Enrique is WONDERFUL! Yes, with all caps. He went above and beyond to make our wedding playlist exactly what we wanted it to be. He made sure that all of our "DO NOT PLAY" songs didn't get played, and surprised us by playing almost all of the songs on our "MUST PLAY" list, even though we had a ton of them a lot of them were pretty obscure and were not in his library. We met two times before the wedding, at no extra charge, to make sure that he's got all the particulars right. His pricing is a lot less than what most other DJ's are charging these days, but I didn't feel like the quality of his work was sacrificed at all. He's a no-frills, no-cheese, all about "you" DJ. My husband and I both loved working with him and would recommend him to anyone.

Enrique was awesome! He recently did the music for my wedding, and we had such a great time! He is professional, did what we asked (Do's and Don'ts), and has reasonable pricing. We definitely recommend him!

My friend had a wedding back in 2010 and Enrique was he DJ!!! He kept the place dancing all night! I couldn't believe it, but even my 89 year old grandmother was dancing up a storm! When Enrique called "last song" it was so disappointing, if for any other reason that we wanted the party to go on all night! We still talk about how awesome the music was that Enrique provided, and I still joke with my friends that they needs to hurry up and get married so that they can have Enrique DJ their wedding! Enrique DJ'ed our wedding at Battery Park Grill room several months ago and we are so happy with our choice to use him. I had been recommended him through a co worker contact that I trusted, and our only guidance to them was that we wanted the dance floor full all night, and we had a short list of play/don't play songs. During the dinner, Enrique put together a great mix of chill out music, with some great Neil Young classics and similar thrown in that totally fit our style. He delivered on everything that we asked for, he bought all their own equipment, were on time, good at communicating prior to the wedding, and was super friendly on the day --- what more can you possibly want for this type of event? Enrique was considerate enough to even record our wedding ceremony for us, and edit our processional song so that it fit what we were after. I'd recommend to any one looking for a solid DJ that isn't going to be selfish and just mix what they are into - at the expense of your party! *and that does happen!*

An excellent DJ, awesome EMCEE, thorough planner, and wonderful entertainer -- DJ Enrique Colon was the life of our wedding party, and we're very thankful we found him through friends who also used him at their wedding! BTL DJS was a great choice for our wedding. Enrique was very thorough in his planning and you could tell he really cares about doing a good job and making the night special. We also had a very specific request for our processional song and he was able to mix it together to create a unique and awesome entrance. The actual party was great. He played the songs we requested and played additional music that was aligned to our tastes. People had a blast dancing and many told us how great the DJ was. One couple actually hired BTL DJS to do their wedding after hearing them at our wedding. In addition, Enrique threw in a few additional bonuses on the day of the wedding for no additional charge. Definitely a great experience.

We were searching for affordable and reputable DJ's and found him through this site. Enrique came right on time for our consultation. I swear he must've been waiting at the door and rang the bell as the clock turned. He was very professional and courteous. He asked many good questions to get to know more about us, our likes and dislikes. He even provided us with a timeline, like a wedding planner! His rates were reasonable. We met with him again prior to the event to sample music and confirm our selections. He was very easy to get along with and made us feel confident. We were a little worried since the guests on my husbands side were very different from my side. On my side, we have Puertoricans, Dominicans and South Americans mostly. On my husbands side, Irish, Italian, Jewish. We wanted to include everyone and encourage as much dancing as possible. This was quite a delicate balance but Enrique managed to pull it off. His side of the family was on the dance floor as much as mine, even his mother and grandma had the time of their lives. People are still talking about it. They've never danced so much in their lives. Awesome music!

We hired BTL Djs for our wedding and I could not be happier with our choice. Enrique was very helpful throughout the planning process and checked in on me a couple of times to ask how everything was going. I completely deferred to Enrique when it came to the music selection (other than telling him that we like top 40s and dance music), and he had the dance floor PACKED the whole entire reception. Other than about 10 minutes where people sat down for cake and coffee, 90% of my guests were up and dancing the whole time. After the reception, several of my guests came up to me to tell me how great our DJ was. BTL DJS were truly fantastic, reasonably priced and made my wedding a HUGE success. I would highly recommend.
