ompany accidentally took Bucky's linens from our event, and we put them in touch to get them returned. Our catering company was at fault, yet was absolutely great to work with in rectifying the situation. Bucky's on the other hand only seemed interested in sending us more bills, and refused to talk directly with the catering company.
If you want to be nickel-and-dimed, then this is the company for you.

n the window we had arranged, and everything worked great. We couldn’t have been happier with them as a company, and their work definitely added a lot to making our wedding beautiful and functional.
We rented a Tidewater Sailcloth tent from Bucky’s. At first I was a little skeptical of the price as it is more expensive than the more traditional white wedding tents, but it turned out STUNNING, and was well worth the extra cost. The Bucky’s folks helped us figure out what we needed in terms of lights/generator/etc. given our outdoor prairie venue and our number of guests. They helped us choose the appropriate amount of equipment without renting us a bunch of stuff we wouldn’t need. Their prices were very reasonable for the quality of their products and their attentive service. They worked directly with our venue to make sure everything was set up where it was supposed to be. Everybody from Bucky’s we worked with were genuine, good-hearted people and we felt confident in them each step of the way. I highly recommend Bucky’s for weddings and other events.

s increasing after the initial invoice. The PA we were shown at the warehouse was large and of good quality, but what arrived the day of was small, of poor quality and from a third party (A to Z I think). We tested the speaker and microphones a hundred ways but could not get rid of the feedback.
We were also miffed by discovering 2 weeks before our wedding that we would have to pay extra for the tables and chairs to be set up and taken down. The co-owner we met with initially had plenty of opportunities to clarify that detail as we explained our event and we ended up sending them more money. I would also say their "Damage Waiver" ($69.02) is vague and their "After Hours/Weekend" charge ($175) is dubious (don't most weddings take place on the weekend and don't most events end after business hours?) The final straw for us was a $26 bill (after paying them over $2600) that arrived two weeks after our event for tablecloths not being folded in the return bin. I called and asked why soiled linens needed to be folded and was told they are a busy company and it speeds up the counting process. I wish I would have known it would be our responsibility to help Bucky's keep labor costs down before we booked them. Springing last-minute tasks on us that we hadn't planned for felt like we were being fleeced and at the very least shows they don't really understand how much planning and timing goes into weddings.

happy; we wouldnt be in service for almost 3 decades if we didnt perform up to standard.
Amanda's recollection of conversations is cloudy as could be expected; since it was her wedding weekend. Our contracts clearly state that delivery may occur anytime between Wednesday and Friday; while we understand that all brides and events want their deliverables as soon as possible, we can not always guarantee a time; thus the window of delivery.
Lastly; you can understand our situation when we are never told, and we ask, about other than 1st floor deliveries; it takes added time in labor and actually time, to deliver on floors above the ground.
Again, we are a family owned and run business and we care about every event we do. Our longevity is one proof of that and when situations like Amanda's happen, we truly are bothered by them; whether it is our fault or not.

zed and had good quality equipment for rent. The problems began the day that our rentals were to be delivered. We had not heard anything from the company all day so at 2pm I called to get an ETA and was told very rudely by the owner, Rich, that the best he could say was "sometime before midnight." This is NOT what a bride wants to hear 24 hours before her wedding. We had paid in full by this point as was required in our Rental Agreement. Rather than be on site for delivery of our items we had to be at our rehearsal dinner, the rental items were delivered between 7-8pm (after dark) according to the owner of the property where our wedding was being held.
There were even more problems after our wedding. Bucky's was planned to pick up the items on Monday per our rental agreement but we were notified via email by the venue owners that they still hadn't picked up on Wednesday. Bucky's did finally pick up late in the day that Wednesday and by early Friday they sent us a bill for nearly $300 extra for "2nd floor delivery/pick up and rebagging of chairs." We referenced back to our Rental Agreement looking for indications of possible fees after the fact but there were none. We did disclose to the receptionist when booking the tent that it was being set up to cover a 2nd floor deck but she made no mention of extra fees for that service. There was no mention in our agreement about "rebagging" of chairs either. All of this could have been worked out with better communication at the time of delivery and pick up but unfortunately we were unable to be present for either since both occurred much later than planned. We would not recommend this vendor to other couples because we feel that their customer service is very poor. We very carefully planned our wedding budget and do not appreciate being charged additionally after the fact.

When we returned the equipment they told my dad that the CD player had not worked for months and someone should have told us that. Needless to say nobody did and we still have to pay full price!!! If you rent any electronics though them make sure they work before leaving the rental company!

I was a little shocked because the venue is a pretty popular place and I wouldn't have chosen this vendor if they weren't familiar with it. In the end I couldn't find a specific map online to refer them to, so I asked a member of my family to instruct the delivery person when they arrived.
The delivery person came by himself to setup the chairs, which actually meant that he dropped them off and had the people in my wedding set them up. When asked where his help was, he said "It's Ironman weekend". When the chairs were uncovered, some of them were dirty, worn and wet.
I do not feel that the chairs were worth over $6 each by the time all of the delivery charges and tax was added on. For future rental needs I would not use Bucky's Rentals.
