Buffalo Gals Grilling + Catering

Buffalo Gals brought up a big grill and made an awesome spectacle of grilling shrimp and tri tip steak as part of the show. Everyone loved the food and we found it really flexible to get different options that worked for our crowd. Easy to sub in for dietary restrictions as well. Paul was very accommodating and a pro to work with. We got married near Salida and the distance was not a challenge or limiter for our choices with Buffalo Gals. Thank you to the full team!

We booked PB Catering / Buffalo Gals for our wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch on 8/23/2024. And boy did they deliver! We went with a plated chicken and steak option with gouda mac and cheese / vegetables. We had a delicious tasting which matched the quality on wedding day. Everyone raved over how tender the steak was. We got endless compliments on our catering choice from our guests. They are super easy to work with. They were able to accommodate all allergies and restrictions with ease. Vegan cauliflower steak, gluten free, kids meals, etc. Also very LGBTQ-friendly, which we appreciate as two brides! Definitely recommend this caterer!!!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service that was provided to us on the wedding day and before hand was great. We loved that there was such a variety of food to pick from and everybody at the wedding commented on how good the food was. They were great in responding to emails and the entire planning process.

Buffalo gals (picnic basket) saved the day for us after another caterer canceled on us 35 days out from our wedding. They were able to get us a quote, revise it, accommodate dietary restrictions, and deliver fantastic service all within 35 days! They make planning catering for the wedding feel easy and are absolute pros from start to finish. Not to mention the food was fantastic! I truly don’t know what we would have done without them, can’t recommend them highly enough.

SO Delicious! Everyone at the party loved the food! Did a BBQ buffet, and it was perfect. Very reasonably priced, and also very attentive staff. Helped set up, clear plates, and clean up quick. They have many options for food, and styles to be served. It was PERFECT!

Buffalo Gals was amazing for our September wedding!! We did passed apps, plated salad, and a taco bar which was a huge hit! We also had a s’more bar which was fantastic, everyone loved it!! They even decorated the buffet to match our wedding colors. Carmen was amazing and very communicative throughout the whole planning process. And the staff at our wedding were extremely nice, they congratulated us and made sure we had everything we needed. They also gave us leftovers at the end of the night which was great because we didn’t want any food to go to waste. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend them!!

Buffalo Gals was a preferred wedding food vendor at Hearth House. We were hesitant to spend the extra money but so glad we did. We were so pleased working with them from start to finish. Lauren was so kind and responsive. We loved the private tasting session where we were able to sample various foods we were interested in. It was an extra bonus that they gave us doggy bags to go home with! We went with beef tri-tip, 9 spice chicken quarters, garlic mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, garden salad, & bread. The food turned out amazing! I also love that they prepared doggy bags wedding day for the bride and groom to go home with. Having them be able to grill on-site at the venue was a great touch and smelled delicious. Lauren also was very accommodating to our gluten & dairy-free guests allowing us to serve veggies as an alternate option and plate our celiac guest's food separately. Accommodating allergies can be super stressful and we really appreciate that they went the extra mile. I cannot recommend Buffalo Gals enough! The only thing we were disappointed with was the package only included plastic silverware & plates (Hearth House decision). We opted to rent real forks and knives as meat can be difficult to cut with plastic. Buffalo Gals does have real silverware & glassware options for additional purchase to rent. The brown plastic-ish plates they usually offer in square, but you can order them in round if you prefer which we did and were satisfied with. We had lots of leftovers that we froze and continue to enjoy. Thank you Buffalo Gals & Lauren for making our wedding day extra special. We appreciate you!

The food was absolutely AMAZING. Communication overall was really great. The only problem we ran into was with dessert. We took the advice from the vendors and had dessert ordered for about half the guests, but that was not nearly enough dessert to go around. My husband and I did not even get to try the dessert, which we were really looking forward to. Other than that, the communication and planning was wonderful, and the service was top tier.

Communicating before the event was great. We had to reach out to follow up on unanswered emails on occasion, but we also booked them super early. As we got closer to the wedding date (~1.5 month prior), they were much better with responding promptly. More importantly, they were incredible the day of the event! The food was delicious and well served. And the staff was incredibly flexible with our day-of weather change -- they exceeded our expectations!

I cannot say enough about Lauren and her team at Buffalo Gals. From the planning to the tasting to the service but most of all the FOOD! I got raves from my guests! And it was served so smoothly through two buffet lines, they accomodated the few guests with dietary issues, and put up with all my many questions along the way. I would hire them again and again and again!

Buffalo Gals was so amazing to work with. From the start of the planning process to the wedding, they were incredible. Their service and professionalism was top notch. Their buffet setup was absolutely beautiful which was something we didn't know about. We had multiple guest tell us about how pretty the buffet setup was, which as a bride was a detail I never thought of, so it was great that they did. Last the food was incredible, our guest could not stop raving. We have a lot of farmers in our family, so they know good beef when they taste it. So many of them told us that the tri-tip that Buffalo Gals served was the best beef they had in a long time.

So happy we chose Buffalo Gals to cater our wedding! The food was great and we heard as such from many of our guests - definitely not like typical "wedding food." We worked with Audri who was very responsive and helpful in coordinating with Event Rents. I have so many great things to say about the entire experience and really appreciate everyone we worked with. I will definitely recommend them in the future to anyone getting married in CO!

Buffalo Gals catered our rehearsal 'picnic' and they were the perfect fit! Kathy and Michelle are such kind souls, and were wonderful to work with. They grilled out at the park where we hosted are party, and everything was delicious. We had a couple of dietary restrictions in our group, and they made sure to include them with no problem. Their staff members were so accommodating as well, and had everything set up on time. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing great food and service for their next event!

We were extremely happy with Buffalo Gals! We switched caterers halfway through our planning process and they made it so easy to get back on track. Our tasting was great, they were so accommodating and professional! On the wedding day the staff was so attentive to us and our guests, and all of the food was so delicious! They even packed up all of our leftovers for us so we could enjoy it the rest of the week. 10/10

Buffalo Gals are absolutely amazing! The food at my wedding was delicious, and we were able to fully customize the menu to have what we wanted. We are still getting compliments about the food! They were super easy to work with and did a great job setting up/taking down at the end of the night. I highly recommend them!

Loved working with Buffalo Gals! Had so many compliments on the apps and dinner! We had about 5 passed appetizers and a plated dinner for our 110 guests and everything was delicious. Our tasting with Brandon was also such a great experience. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We had the best experience with Buffalo Gals! Our tasting was so much fun, the food on our wedding day was amazing, and they set up our table decor beautifully. The desserts were over the top amazing and I really wish I had grabbed more to go! On our wedding day, Buffalo Gals staff brought my husband and I our food, checked in with us during cocktail hour with appetizers and a drink, and checked at the end of the night to make sure we were doing well. We felt so cared for and never expected that out of our caterers. Sondra also took extra steps to help with a piece of the wedding that was stressing me out and wasn't part of their scope of work. We can't say enough good things about Buffalo Gals!

Buffalo Gals is AMAZING. They catered our wedding and we could not have been happier. From the communication, tasting, and day of service - they came through in every aspect. They stayed professional through everything on our night. Sondra was a joy to work with and in preparation and Carol was INCREDIBLE the night of. All of our guests raved about the food all night and the crew even packed us up a little midnight snack for the night of the wedding. What an amazing company! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire catering for an event!

Sondra and her team did such an amazing job from the time we made our first inquiry to the actual day of the wedding. She was so helpful in helping decide which types of food, quantities, and even the details such as the amount of ice we would need. Sondra went above and beyond by coming all the way out to our venue (a 2 hour drive from Colorado Springs) to be there for a walkthrough with the owner and wedding planner. From set-up, to tear-down, and a bunch of other crazy things that happened due to the weather; they helped us make this a truly special and delicious wedding. Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned the food yet. It was amazing, the Santa Maria Chicken was the talk of the night and the Chipotle meatballs were a hit for an appetizer.

Buffalo Gals is incredible! We worked with Audrey for our wedding and I could not say enough about her and our experience with BG. We switched our wedding plans two months before our wedding and Audrey was there every step of the way to help us. She helped us select the perfect menu, create seating arrangements and even came with us to our rental appointment. The food was incredible, the service was top of the line and the support from Audrey was irreplaceable. They created a safe and healthy environment during COVID and we are so thankful! Thank you so much to Buffalo Gals for such an awesome experience.

WOW! Buffalo Gals Grilling & Catering knocked it out of the park for our wedding! We were very impressed with their professionalism, commitment, and overall service. Their food is outstanding. We had "Rip Your Lips Off Chicken" and it was a fan favorite with the grillers outside. Sondra was an absolute pleasure to work with as far as planning the menu and finalizing details. We do not regret going with this amazing catering company and highly recommend them!

Where to begin?! Buffalo Gals was absolutely amazing to work with, in every aspect. They made the menu planning process such a breeze and really eased any concerns we had while executing a pandemic wedding. The food was outstanding (highly recommend grilling the tri-tip on site and also the grilled peaches with vanilla gelato- YUM!), the service was top notch and the professionalism was outstanding. Michelle's kindness and attention to detail cant be beat! They truly helped make our big day perfection. They will always be our go-to caterer from this point on! Cannot say enough about how wonderful buffalo gals catering was for our wedding! Food was amazing and they even helped with all the set up and tear down which was huge. We had our wedding at Flying Horse Ranch in Larkspur and chose their all inclusive package and Buffalo Gals was our caterer. I couldn’t have chose a better caterer for our day. Our food was delicious, the service team was outstanding and we loved our entire experience with them. We still have compliments about our food! We had the tri tip, grilled chicken, salad, smoked Gouda Mac, and meatballs. The meatballs we to die for the and Mac was the perfect addition! Thanks so much!!

Buffalo Gals had 1) incredible (!!!) food and 2) were a JOY to work with. The wedding planning process can be truly grueling and it seems most every company just wants to trick you into a contract to then increase the price, nickel and dime-ing you for everything. But not Buffalo Gals. They are upfront at the start and come alongside as your teammate to help the day go off without a hitch. They were so flexible and worked so hard and diligently. They pay attention to every detail and I had NO worries about them on our day. I am so thankful we had such tasty food on our favorite day :)

I flew to Colorado Springs for my college friend's wedding, not knowing much about the food. The wedding was so beautiful and such a blast, but I have to say I was completely blown away by the menu and service from their caterer! They actually had someone grilling on site making a cut of steak I have never heard of. It was sooo delicious and perfectly seasoned! The buffet setup was stunning and very "Colorado". This wedding was worth the flight for the fun, views and FOOD!! Highly recommended!!

I recently attended a Colorado Springs wedding at the Air Force Academy, which was catered by Buffalo Gals. Everything about the dining experience was extraordinary! The food was delicious and, I could tell, freshly grilled and served. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service to the wedding of about 120 people. I helped the family of the bride with the set up, and the catering team provided so much support and enthusiasm about the wedding. Even as a guest, I'd highly recommend Buffalo Gals for any special occasion!

We just had our daughter’s wedding in Colorado Springs, CO and had Buffalo Gals Grilling cater the wedding. The food was unbelievable and our guests raved about how delicious everything was! I have been to many weddings where frankly the food was terrible – not the case with Buffalo Gals! The staff was amazing and so professional. They not only prepared the food, but set up the entire reception site with tables, linens, flowers and much more! Our point of contact, Sondra McDuff, was so easy to work with and always got back to me when I emailed her with questions, which were many , in a timely manner. We hired Buffalo Gals to cater our wedding and worked with Lauren through most of the process. She was AMAZING and so so helpful. Lauren not only helped us with our food choices, but also with our rentals from Event Rents AND with the table arrangements for the day of. Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious. All of our guests were raving about it, especially the mashed potatoes (id highly recommend). The Buffalo Gals staff that worked our wedding were all so friendly and really catered to my husband and I which was so nice! If you're looking for good food AND good service, this is the way to go.

You know you chose the right caterer when everyone at the wedding reception raves about how delicious the food is. The staff at Buffalo Gals is top notch... from the owner, to the administrative staff, to the servers... their priority is always to ensure your complete satisfaction. We had a complimentary taste testing a few months before the wedding and were impressed by their professionalism and joie-de-vivre. These folks LOVE what they do! We made some adjustments to the menu to better suit our theme and never once did the owner make us feel bad about wanting to make a change. At the reception, the serving staff were courteous and prompt in bringing food to the tables. They attended to every guests' needs and unobtrusively removed finished plates. We had scrumptious appetizers (sausage stuffed mushrooms, butternut squash soup shooters, bacon-wrapped almond-stuffed dates, hot artichoke-spinach dip) and a soul-satisfying dinner (caesar salad, grilled seasonal veggies, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled tri-tip sirloin, mango salsa grilled chicken). Dinner was served family-style: platters of food were brought to the tables so guests could serve up what they wanted. It's a perfect blend of a buffet & a plated dinner, at just the right price. You've got to hire these folks for your next catering event... you won't regret it!

We had such an amazing experience with Buffalo Gals. Sondra did an amazing job attending to all the little details so we could relax and enjoy the day. We felt so comfortable with them even though we had our wedding at a new venue. Also, the food was amazing!

The company pairs with The Picnic Basket and between the two you can find a plan that works best for your wedding. The company is great if you are on a budget and they're also wonderful if your wedding is over the top. Communication was a breeze with company and the payment plan made it is easy to not break the bank at once. We ordered a buffet with the Tri Tip Sirloin and Sage Chicken, our guests were very happy with the food. We had enough leftovers to have yet another dinner the next night (15 guests). If you are thinking about booking Buffalo Gals, just do it already!

Buffalo gals catered our wedding last month! They are amazing!! The whole booking experience was made easy too! We planned our wedding from out of state, and BG did a special tasting for us while we were home for the holidays. Whenever we made changes to the food or rentals, they would immediately type of a new proposal for us with no hesitation. They coordinate with the rental company so you don't have to worry about number of linens or utensils, they handle it. The day of, every guest at our wedding was obsessed! They brought a huge grill on site and cooked the chicken, tri-tip and veggies on site for everyone to see. All the food tasted fabulous and the waitering staff were awesome. They made sure everything was set up and ready, it was beautiful and the buffet went so smoothly. They truly helped make our day what it was!

We love Buffalo Gals! We knew several people who had Buffalo Gals cater their weddings in the last year or so, and they all gave rave reviews, so we knew we had to have them for our wedding, too. My husband and I don’t live in Colorado anymore, so we didn’t have the opportunity to taste the food before the wedding day, but it was awesome! The food was so delicious, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The staff is great, too. They know exactly how weddings work and they have all the little details figured out so that the dinner runs smoothly. (We also had them make our cupcakes and cake for dessert. They were also SO delicious and they dessert table set up was beautiful… made for great cake cutting photos ☺ )
