We just had our wedding reception at Buffalo Launch Club, and I recommend then a million percent!! Kathryn Abbott - the event coordinator -was incredible to work with. She made me feel so at ease, and so comfortable and eliminated any stress I had from planning the reception. Her friendliness, attention to detail, prompt communication, and service in general were all just so exceptional. She was so sweet, so reassuring and made me feel like part of her family. I had zero concerns, which is EVERYTHING for the Bride when planning a wedding. The service staff was outstanding. They were so kind, and friendly. So accommodating, and so professional. They were very efficient and made it look effortless. Absolutely wonderful. We had several guests complimenting the staff throughout the night. They were flawless. The food was out of this world. We opted for a dual plated meal consisting of Filet Mingon and Tuscan Chicken. Sides were roasted red potatoes and green beans with carrots. I've never had an entire meal melt in my mouth before. It was like a meal delivered directly from heaven. I had guests telling me this was the best food they've ever had at any reception. I had picky eaters clean their plates. It's been almost a week and I'm still hearing about the food. All in all..our experience with the Buffalo Launch Club was like a dream. It was a beautiful location. The ambiance, the service from talking and planning with Kathryn, to the event staff, and the kitchen staff the night of, it was all just perfect. They knocked it out of the park. I cannot recommend them more.

Sig, the manager of the BLC, arranged my wedding reception so well. Great communication and so easy to work with. We did buffet for the reception, the food was great!! Also nice view by the water in the summer time, all my guests enjoyed it!

The space is beautiful and the food is great. None of that was worth the interactions we had with the banquet and cq manager, Murissa Joachimi and the general manager Lisa Harris....

They alone ruined our experience. Buyer beware. Murissa proved to be completely incompetent in following through with the services she promised us including our cocktail hour and Lisa had such poor customer service as to gaslight us about our lack of cocktail hour while we were on our honeymoon. Their behavior toward us was appalling. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your wedding.

They never said no to any of our requests. They never tried to talk us up in anything - in fact, in a few situations they talked us down to help reduce price. They really know what they are doing and I can't say enough great things about this venue and the people. Plenty of room for a band and a huge permanent dance floor. Great food and excellent appetizers. I have no negative comments about this facility - General Manager and Event Coordinator were also excellent. I have also been to a bridal shower at this facility and it was also a very nice venue.
