Greg traveled to Northern Michigan for our wedding 2 weeks ago and WOW! He did a phenominal job not only with prepping for the big day (Greg and my husband had several virtual meetings to coordinate the timeline and music selection prior to the big day), but also, with the lighting, keeping us on schedule, and keeping the guests entertained. He was extremely flexible and provided wonderful suggestions. Several of our guests mentioned how much they loved the DJ-thank you for making our special day so perfect!

I had an awesome retirement party with the help of Robyn and Roger! They are the best! Robyn helped me plan the night and provided a timeline for the evening! Roger manned the photo booth like no other! The song selections and order were perfect and kept us dancing all night long! Roger was perfect with the booth and my album is priceless! They are two personable people and so hard working! Anyone would be over the moon with their services! Thank you Robyn and Roger!

If we could give Bugbee's DJ Plus a 6-star rating, we would. My husband and I were married on June 8, 2018, and we had the privilege of having Greg Bugbee with us for our entire wedding day. He provided all sound, music, MCing for both our ceremony and reception. Greg has done my 2 older sisters' weddings as well, so he is practically family to us now! Greg, and his entire team, are extremely personable, responsive, and passionate in the work that they do and they provide an exceptional and memorable experience for everyone involved! We received multiple comments on how professional and FUN our DJ was. We especially liked how catering Greg was to what my husband and I wished for the day of. He sent us a list of 200 top wedding songs and we were able to filter through the song list and decide which songs we NEEDED played, did NOT want played, or didn't care if they were played or not, as well as provide a list of special requests. Greg was incredibly involved and responsive with my husband and I the entire process leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day itself, always making sure everything was running as smoothly as possible and exactly as WE wanted it, and always making sure we were enjoying ourselves. We couldn't have done the day without the incredible role that Greg and his team played. Not only is Greg and his team professional, but they are so much FUN. They are an excitable bunch and just a joy to be around. It's obvious that they love the work that they do and love the people that they provide services for. Greg is an all around great guy, and puts everything he has into making your day the best day ever. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Greg and his team, and it was an honor to US to be able to share our day with them!! We would (and have), without a doubt, recommend Bugbee DJ's Plus to all friends and family and strangers in search of a wonderful DJ!

We did not even look around when it came to DJ's. We had been to enough weddings and events that Bugbee's were the DJ at and knew how good they were. They not only did the sound for the wedding and DJ'd the reception, Dan took charge and made sure ever detail was covered and kept things moving along. He was so much fun that people were on the dance floor until the very last song. AND he took pictures from a vantage point that only he had. He was amazing and their service is second to none! We had Roger Young as our DJ and couldn't have asked for a better experience. When it came to planning how everything would happen on the day of we were certainly lost and were stressing out about how to organize everything. As soon as we met Roger all those worries went away! He helped us set up the flow of the day, who would be where, what would be playing when, etc. and it was a HUGE help. He made us feel at ease and confident everything would go smoothly which it definitely did. Everyone had a great time at our wedding and raved about Roger. He kept the party going and was always looking out for me and my wife to make sure everything was taken care of. Big thanks to Roger and the Bugbee's team and we would HIGHLY recommend them!

Dan was absolutely fantastic! He was available for every question we had along the way, and was always willing to meet when needed to help with details, provide suggestions, and guide us through the process in order to make our day perfect.

Dan did an amazing job as our reception DJ! He worked with us in advance to select the songs we wanted to have played for our guests and also to create a timeline for the reception. He accommodated our special requests and was friendly, pleasant, and professional. During the reception, Dan was conscious of the timing for the special parts of the evening and communicated with us throughout the night too. He seamlessly kept the timeline moving without us or our guests feeling rushed. We truly enjoyed the evening and trusted Dan. We would highly recommend Dan and Bugbee's DJ services!

Bugbee's DJ Plus was awesome! They were prompt, professional, and above all....personable! Dan and Greg were so easy to work with. Dan was an awesome DJ!! Their word was as good as gold - they call or email when they say they are going to, and went over every possible detail with us. Sound and lights were excellent. Music suggestions and selections were super which led to our guests dancing the entire time. Entire family and bridal party was pleased! Would HIGHLY recommend them!

We had our wedding this month and Dan did an AMAZING job!! We were supposed to have an outside ceremony but since it was storming all day plans had to be changed. He did an amazing job of being on top of everything! He even got certain songs that we requested before and during the wedding. The price was also very reasonable. We didn't want to be spending a fortune on our wedding. I also have gotten several comments from friends/family on how good of a job Dan did!! We wanted everyone to have fun at our wedding and it was a success! I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone!!

100% WOULD pick these guys in an INSTANT! We celebrated our wedding just last weekend and we had Roger as our DJ. He was AWESOME! He played all the songs we asked and when we were unsure of what song to use during parts of the day he was great at giving us song choices! We had the joy of getting to know both him and his wife Lindsay who ran the photobooth, she as well was AMAZING! The photobooth is totally worth getting on top of a kick butt DJ! You get to have a copy of all the photo strips put into a scrapbook (which Lindsay handles cutting and sticking and makes it look nice!), the awesome thing about that is that she gives space for people to leave a nice note to you after they leave the photobooth. It was a really awesome addition and we ended up with more people using that than our actual guest book (which I secretly now love more than our guest book. haha.) All in all Bugbee's DJ Plus is truly AMAZING. Everything went SO smooth, Roger showed up for Rehearsal to make sure all acoustics worked well with our Barn venue and that everything ran smooth. He was the first one to refill our glasses and take care of our plates at the table. At one point my dad said "Geesh you really do take care of everything on the day of don't you" and Rogers reply was "that's the 'Plus' part of the business, I don't want to see Mom or Dad doing anything." I would recommend this duo and the company to ANYONE! My brother and his fiance are getting married in June 2018 and while at our wedding they decided to forget about the two companies they were debating between and actually BOOKED Bugbee's for next June. We CAN'T WAIT to see Roger and Lindsay again, YOU. TWO. ROCK!!! (literally ;) ) THANKS Bugbee's!!!

Dan nailed it with the music and MC at our wedding. The whole experience had such a personal feel to it. He contacted us months in advance to meet us and get to know our personalities and tastes. With that, he asked for our input constantly and ensured that music we wanted was played throughout the celebration. He was involved with the other vendors throughout the night as well to make sure that everything went off without a hiccup. Bugbee's and Dan will now come highly recommended from my wife and me. The pricing is very reasonable for the services provided and the personal feel the night had. The dance floor was never empty and we celebrated well into the evening. Thank you again!

The moment my husband and I met Dan from Bugbee's DJ Plus we knew we hit jack pot. They are the best to work with and for anything in the future we will be contacting them. Dan was always professional. He corresponded to our emails and then eventually text messages within a responsible response time. He thought of things and even gave recommendations such as all navy blue lighting that gave the room a special touch. The photobooth was awesome! Alexis was a hit as well! She prompted people and encouraged people to use props with the photobooth. The room in the booth was spacious. Enough for 6 adults! Another awesome wedding with Bugbee's DJ Plus! Last fall our daughter was married and our family and friends had such a great time with DJ's Roger and Lindsay! DJ Roger met with the kids months before their wedding day and came prepared with an easy to follow ceremony outline to assist with planning. On the day of rehearsal DJ Roger had his music and photo booth all set up and was efficient, fun and confident in getting everyone in the bridal party organized for the big day. The Wedding was perfect in every way and everyone enjoyed a fun filled evening of dancing with the perfect mix of music. The photo booth, run by DJ Rogers wife Lindsay was a huge hit as well. She kept things running smooth and provided the guests with a film strip of their fun photos along with a scrap book for the kids containing photos that the guest could write a personal message, very cool! Dan (DJ) and Miranda(photo booth) Church worked our wedding and I cannot tell you how many compliments we had on how well they did. Dan was such a great DJ and made the night transition so smoothly! And Miranda was such a sweetheart and had such a great time doing the photo booth! Bugbee's DJ Plus is definitely the way to go!

Greg is honestly absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I AND our guests are still talking about how great he was (we got married in July). Greg kept the whole night going and made it effortless for us. He had everyone dancing the whole night long- the dance floor was constantly full from Start to finish of our reception! Hiring Bugbees was honestly one of the best decision we made for our wedding. I cannot recommend them enough!!

When we got engaged I knew exactly who I wanted to DJ our wedding. I got to know the family behind Bugbee's and Dan was the obvious choice. I knew our musical tastes were similar and after our first meeting we were on the same page about how wedding music should go. He played everything we wanted and kept people on the dance floor. Most importantly he coordinated well with all of our other vendors. The best was when we noticed our awkward transition from cake cutting to first dance and got our venue into action. He made a special cut of a song for the Mother/Son dance and coordinated with my Dad to make our Father/Daughter dance song a surprise. He notified my husband when the last couple songs were going to be played to make sure they were the exact ones we wanted to end our night on. Everyone was having so much fun we literally had to kick them off the dance floor. I can't say enough amazing things about Dan and the entire Bugbee's team!

Roger Young, Our DJ, was absolutely incredible. He was kind, collected, and very easy to get in contact with. He responded to emails quickly, and had a lot of great ideas that we would never have thought of. He was able to answer all our questions! The day of our wedding, he was phenomenal. He was organized, made sure we had all our needs met, and all of our guests loved him. He made the reception a real party that everyone enjoyed! I highly recommend that anyone needing a DJ goes to Bugbee's DJ Plus. They are, without a doubt, the best DJs in the area. Cassie did an amazing job with our wedding. The uplighting looked great, the music was everything we wanted it to be. If we had more to spend, we would've also gotten the photo booth. Just an amazing experience.

LOVED! Greg was so easy to work with!! We kept in touch throughout the night to ensure that things were on time. As a wedding coordinator, it is very important to develop a great working relationship with you DJ, and I feel that we did just that! I cannot recommend Greg and his team highly enough. My wife and I love music and dancing so we knew we wanted a huge dance party at our reception. As a professional musician myself I had very high expectations while interviewing potential DJ's. After just a few minutes of conversation, though, we knew we wanted to partner with Greg. I think he DJ's so well because he is personally passionate about music. While planning our reception, he helped us craft a "musical vision" for the whole evening and then he executed it PERFECTLY. Honestly, our dance party was a blast and we have to give Greg most of the credit for it. He kept the party going all night. Thank you, Greg!

Planning a wedding is hard enough, but to us, one of the most important parts was the music. Dan had a great list of music for us to look through so that we could pick our favorites, and remove the ones we hate! He was easy to work with, responsive and listened to us! Dan worked the crowd the night of the wedding- we needed to appease the older crowd earlier, then bring in the new hits. The feedback I've gotten from my wedding guests was that it was so much fun, and everyone was on the dance floor. I'd say 90% of the people there! No joke! Overall, would highly recommend Dan and Bugbee's DJ.

We were absolutely thrilled with how they helped make the evening run so smoothly and kept our hit list playing. We really appreciated being an active part in our song choices for the evening and that it was followed. Would choose them again in a heartbeat!

If we could give SIX stars that is what I would give Greg and Bugbee’s DJ Plus. Greg was the DJ and de facto emcee for my daughter’s wedding over Memorial Day weekend. He was FABULOUS!! Everything you could want in a DJ – professional, prepared and fun! He spent time with my daughter and her fiancée beforehand to get a feel for the kind of music they liked and for how the reception would flow. He consulted with my wife and me to be sure we were comfortable with the set up. In every aspect, he exceeded our expectations. I can’t recommend Greg and his company any more highly.

To us, the DJ was one of the most important parts of the wedding planning process and wedding and reception. We wanted someone who we were confident in and trusted to be our DJ for the ceremony and reception. Dan was just that person! After we met with Dan to start planning how we wanted our ceremony and reception to feel, we felt so relieved and confident that we picked the best and most professional DJ. He was so helpful in helping us select music from the ceremony music to cake cutting music all the way to the last song and responded back to any questions quickly. Dan was also helpful in selecting up lighting and making sure placement and color was how we envisioned. The day of, both Dan and Cody were very attentive to what was happening and and transitioned the ceremony and reception smoothly! We are so thankful for all their hard work on our special day and would highly recommend them for any event!

I am so impressed with Bugbee's! I recently booked Bugbee's for a nonprofit fundraiser held in November. Not only were they professional and prompt to respond via email, they did an amazing job of interacting with the crowd and getting everyone out on the dance floor! For the event, they provided DJ, uplighting, & photobooth services. Everyone said how much fun the photobooth and props were and the uplighting was fantastic. Cannot recommend them enough- I wouldn't hesitate to book them for any event!

We decided to go with Bugbee's DJ Plus after the recommendation from a family friend who had used them for two weddings already. They were the best price we could find for what we needed. Upon our first meeting, Roger, our DJ, was very professional, excited about his job, and listened to exactly what we wanted. He was quick to respond to all emails and always willing to answer questions. On the day of the wedding, Roger was at our venue early to set up and meet with the other vendors to make sure timelines matched up, etc. During our reception, Roger did an incredible job with the music and kept people on the dance floor. We had the pleasure of working with Roger from Bugbee's and he was fantastic. We planned our Michigan wedding all the way from Virginia so working with vendors was strictly by phone or email. Roger took time out of his schedule to skype with my husband and I for over an hour and a half to make sure we got all the desired details. My husband is in the military (as was Roger) and Roger made it a point to thank him for his services every chance he got. This may seem silly to some but for us, it was really a compliment to his great character. He was fun, direct, and the crowd loved him. Although some of the songs I added to our play list for him to play came on twice almost back to back and some of the songs were not really in a cohesive order everyone was still on the dance floor for most of the night. We ran over the schedule for photos but Roger kept us on track for the rest of the evening. I do wish there was more communication between the dj and the photographer because we missed some great shots due to lack of communication before trying to get back on schedule for the games and dances. All and all Roger helped make our wedding unforgettable and we thank him so much!

A special thanks to Roger Young, our DJ for our reception, who put on a spectacular night of dancing and fun for us and all of our guests. From the initial contact with Bugbee’s I was impressed. The company was incredibly timely in responding with their initial quote of services and worked with me every step of the way. There was never any question as to our contract and everything with the company was handled via email. Our special DJ (Rodger “Dodger” Young) was also incredible. From the moment we met him we knew we had a “rockstar”. He made sure that the night was our night and he would do everything to make it special and as we wanted. He has a great sense of humor and was also very dedicated to answering our questions in a very timely manner. We were made to feel as if we were his only clients through the entire process. Bugbee’s DJ Plus has several options to select from to make your reception a night that will fit your needs and dreams. We are a highly satisfied couple who will whole heartedly recommend Bugbee’s and Rodger Young to anyone looking for a DJ and DJ service.

Hiring Bugbee's Plus DJ was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding. Initially, I was incredibly nervous about hiring a DJ. I read scary reviews of other DJ companies online and how they ruined the reception. I was so relieved when I found Bugbee's and felt even better when I met with Greg and Dan. They are extremely friendly and professional. Dan Church and Cody Frailey were so fun to have as DJs and got everyone up on their feet dancing the whole time. I highly, highly recommend having them at your wedding.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Greg and his amazing business!!! He is incredibly professional (I mean he brought an array of ties to match our wedding theme) and really wanted to capture who we were as a couple. He took the time to meet up with us before the wedding to get to know us better and the kind of music and style we wanted. He didn't even flinch when we let him know that I wanted to walk down the aisle to Concerning Hobbits from Lord of the Rings. He made our day beautiful and completely 100% us. If you are thinking about hiring a wedding planner for the day of, save your money and hire Greg. He had everything planned out and kept all of the stress off of us, he replaced champagne in the Bridal Party glasses for the toast and handled the caterers. He kept the night moving and running smoothly and got everyone on the dance floor! The snowball dance was amazing and I am so glad he recommended it. Greg and Bugbee's DJ Plus service was the BEST decision that we made for our wedding and would strongly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a DJ service.

By chance we used Bugbee's DJ Plus in July 2011 for our oldest daughter's wedding and we were so impressed with Greg Bugbee's DJing service. He made the reception very fun and we had so many positive comments from both young and old. That time I sent so many emails pre-wedding and he answered every one quickly. August 2016 our youngest daughter was married 2 1/2 hours North of Champaign, IL. On a whim I sent Greg an email to see if they would go that far. Like in 2011, he answered my email the same day and I was happy to hear Bugbee's DJ Plus would travel that far (for no additional travel fee ... amazing!!!). Again Greg made the reception a very fun event. Even the owners of the venue commented they have never seen so many people on their dance floor at once. The quality of service we received from Bugbee's was worth far more than the amount we paid. Both of my daughters lived out of state for their weddings and Greg worked with them with their limited availability for their pre-wedding meetings and song selections. I only have 100% positive comments about this company and their service. A++++++

Dan was our DJ and he was amazing! He wasn't obnoxious and played what we wanted! Thumbs up to him!

We first contacted Bugbee's DJ after our first DJ back out on us. We contacted them with a little over three months left till the big day. Let me just say that we were more than a little stressed. We met with Roger. He was so wonderful and put us at ease right away. He came prepared with lists of what he would need from us and suggestions for the big day. We were more than just a little clueless when it came to music for the reception. He let us know all that Bugbee's had to offer in terms of music, lighting, and what we could expect as him as our DJ. From that moment on we were sold. Rodger put us completely at ease. He gave us a list of what he needed from us and when he would need it by. It was great! Roger reached out to us a few times before the wedding, to check in on how we were and if there was anything we needed until the big day. We had our venue space the day before our Wedding, so Roger came and set up all his equipment, so that there would be little to worry about the following day. He also double checked all of the information with my husband and me to make sure he had all the names right and music right. When the big day came and the reception was in full swing, we did not have to worry about a thing. Roger kept the party going and people on the dance floor. There was never a lull or dull moment. And everyone raved about the music and his service. On top of Roger keeping the party going the whole night, he went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect for us. He kept us informed of when we had to be where, he cut the remaining cake and served it to the bridal party and our parents, he also made sure all our glasses at the head table were full for the toasts. He was so wonderful. I have been going on an on...so I will leave my review with this: I would give Bugbee's DJ's a 10/10. If you are thinking about using them, do. They were just a smidge more then we had budgeted, but they were worth every penny. And if you can get Roger as your DJ, do that too!! He was great!

When first contacting Greg from Bugbee's DJ Plus (the owner and negotiator), he was very responsive and offered to meet with us in person. He was very accommodating to our time constraints and met us at a place which was near our home. Greg was very enthusiastic and made us feel like we were going to be taken care of on our wedding day. He seemed very organized and professional. After the meeting, he responded to emails very quickly. If he was unable to respond quickly, he had one of his associates contact me. When planning a Wedding, I feel as if it is important to have timely communication with vendors. As far as the price goes, Bugbees seems reasonable considering the experience and professionalism you are getting. They also have an option of including a high quality photobooth with props and if you do both at the wedding, there is a bundling price. Unfortunately, we did not look at competitors' prices, so I am unable to comment for sure on whether the price was reasonable for DJ services and photobooth services together. However, considering you have someone helping you plan the entire reception and the convenience of dealing with one vendor for two services, it seemed reasonable to me. The actual DJ on our Wedding day was Roger. He reached out a couple months before the big day and offered to meet me at Panera by my work during my lunch hour, so it was convenient for me. He also paid for my coffee, which was a very nice gesture. Roger is an extremely friendly and personable guy. This is someone you want to have running your wedding. Roger was also very organized and had great suggestions for songs. He let me pick the entire playlist for the general dancing at the reception and made sure every song was played at the Wedding. Roger was also very responsive to every email after our meeting. He also has a great memory and did not confuse the details from my wedding with another wedding. I do not like it when vendors do this and make you feel unimportant. He made us feel special as if we were the only wedding he was DJing for that Summer. Roger was great on the actual day, despite having just had surgery, though you could not tell. He pronounced everyone's names right in the Wedding party and the night was great! I would definitely recommend this DJ service to others.

Roger did a fabulous job with our guests! They loved him, he was so helpful especially when the younger kids were in there taking photos. I would definitely recommend them!

Blown away by the incredible service! Dan was the DJ for our wedding reception, and he did a fantastic job. Everything about the process, from our first meeting to our final planning session to the day of the wedding, was flawless! Dan had an awesome DJ personality, was super friendly and fun to work with, and was very flexible/accommodating for our wedding day schedule. It's often up to the DJ to keep the party going at wedding receptions, and with Bugbee's we had no worry. Dan kept people on the dance floor all night long and helped us progress the party from start to finish. The evening was truly flawless - thanks Dan! We highly recommend Bugbee's!

AMAZING! Greg was wonderful from the first time we met until moment we said goodbye. He completely catered to all our needs and requests and helped the evening flow perfectly! The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT! During and after the party I received compliments regarding how amazing he was. Greg really made our reception the party we always dreamed it would be. My husband and I really got the most bang for our buck. Bugbee's is so reasonably priced and without a doubt the best DJ's there are hands down. You would be crazy not to higher them! Truly the best!

There really should be more than five stars! Greg Bugbee made our reception absolutely flawless! He was there early, scoped everything out, was able to make sure that my husband and I knew exactly what was going to happen before time, kept everything flowing perfectly and made this night the dream come true for our daughter and her new husband. Greg made sure that everyone was able to enjoy everything, that the tables were dismissed in an orderly fashion for the buffet, that all of the special dances were entered into seamlessly, and that everything ran like a well oiled machine until the very end. Miranda, Greg's daughter, was extremely good at running the Photo Booth, getting people into the mood for posing, suggesting props from her large supply, having people sign on the pictures that she was putting in a book that Leigh Anne and Jeremy were able to take with them when they left the reception! My husband even said during the first 15 minutes of the reception, "I don't know what we paid him (Greg) but he was worth double!" THAT is the kind of DJ/MC everyone should have at their event. Someone that takes their job very seriously but is so good at it and enjoys it so much that you forget they are actually working!

Bugbee's DJ plus was more than great for us! We had Greg as our DJ and we cannot say enough good things about him. He was very responsive throughout the whole planning process and tailored our reception to express us! He also made sure everyone at the reception had a good time. Everything flowed so smooth and we always knew what was going on. He met the wedding party once we arrived and ran through how everything was going to go. It was so nice not having to worry about our reception. Greg was even out on the dance floor dancing with us and our guests! We had so many compliments. We also had Lindsay for the photobooth and she was also great! I would highly recommend Bugbee's DJ Plus! Thanks for a fantastic, worry-free wedding reception!

Our DJ was Roger Young. He was fantastic just amazing. He played Latin music for my side of the family, and he incorporated it so well with non Latin music. Everyone danced to both types. He made sure our guests were having a good time and went the extra mile. We got a lot of compliments and everyone talks now how great our DJ MC did our wedding reception. It was very important for us to have a great DJ, because we had a small type of wedding size wise so entertainment was even more important. He also played the wedding shoe game and he was excellent just hilarious. Roger has that magic touch of every great entertainer and very personable. He also cared for us like we were his kids, our wedding was personal for him. Lastly, he worked with us and didnt lose his cool not once but 3 times I was late to our meetings (not because I'm inconsiderate but somehow I messed up our meeting times and days twice, and the third time my car broke down). Being a bride and groom to be is hard, being a bride is harder, but Roger made it all good. We highly recommend him for any wedding!

Planning a wedding isn't easy; regardless of how stress-free you start out, something will always pop up that you realize you never even considered. For us, it was the flow of how the evening would go: when thinking about every wedding we'd ever attended, we realized that we couldn't really remember in what order anything had occurred and had no idea where to start. Dan Church with Bugbee's DJ Plus was a LIFE SAVER! From our initial online correspondence to our first meeting to the final meet before the wedding to the big day itself, Dan covered literally everything we came up with and the things we didn't even consider. What we most appreciated was that he was there to really guide the entire event along: he was a true master of ceremonies, letting people know what was happening when with engagement and charisma. When you think of a DJ, you probably think of someone who just plays the music for you, but Dan really helped the whole event flow from beginning to end, and he was incredibly patient throughout the entire process of planning (because we genuinely had no idea what we were doing approximately 99% of the time). It's also worth noting that Dan was incredibly involved in getting to know us and what we wanted from him and out of our whole day, and he made sure that who we are as people came out in the music that played over our entire wedding day. If you want something more than someone to just play music and really be involved in your experience, Bugbee's is absolutely the way to go. Thank you so much, Dan!

Cassie did an all-around fantastic job for my wife and I. She was extremely helpful from the planning stages all the way through the day of. She was willing to help with any aspect of the ceremony and the reception. I highly recommend her and Bugbee's DJ Plus to anyone.
