We had a specific vibe in mind, ranging from a more social "pre-funk" leading into a dance filled evening, and Craig not only understood what we were aiming for, but knew it better than we did ourselves. We booked the Diamond package for our wedding and had an amazing experience. We worked with DJ Shawn for most of the process, but sadly he got COVID the week of our wedding. Luckily, DJ Craig was able to step in, and everything went super smoothly! Bugsie productions took the time to make everything amazing. They nailed all of our ceremony music, including quite a few custom song requests. We had no idea what to play during dinner, and they did a fantastic job taking care of that for us. They have the perfect balance of being able to accommodate all of our crazy, silly, small requests, AND being talented to fill in any gaps with the perfect wedding soundtrack. Overall a fantastic experience.

Craig I the absolute BEST there is out there! He turned our wedding from an event into a party 🥳 he was so fun and engaging with the crowd that he got my grandma out on the dance floor all night sans cane or walker, what kind of DJ is THAT GOOD??? Craig was great! Super responsive and professional. Ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and Craig kept the party going. Craig and our DJ, Yoshi, were so great to work with for our wedding! From accommodating to our rescheduled date after a year delay to the personalized care and service on the day of the wedding - we were very pleased! One of the best parts was meeting with our DJ a few weeks before the wedding to go over details and get to know each other. We highly recommend meeting with the DJ and being very clear about what you are hoping for at your wedding.

We had hired DJ Bugsie for our wedding in August 2020, unfortunately we had to cancel because of the uncertainty with the Covid-19 Pandemic. I however wanted to write a review because my experience with both DJ Yoshi and Craig was such a positive experience and have no doubt that had they had the opportunity to DJ our wedding, it would have been top notch! Craig is a very kind and honest businessman. He was completely understanding of the unprecedented situation that we were facing, and made a business decision to put our interests before his profits even though he is probably loosing a lot of business because of this situation. Although we could not use his services this time around, I will no doubt go back to them next time. Thank you Craig and team for making an unfortunate and stressful situation better.

We had the absolute best experience with Bugsie Productions/DJ Yoshi. Communication was fast and efficient, all of our concerns were addressed quickly and thoughtfully. DJ Yoshi explained in the beginning that the music was one thing, and the MCing was another and he was right and I'm so glad we had his vision. The flow of the wedding was perfect and we're very grateful!

I can not say enough about how impressed I was with this company. DJ Yoshi was our DJ, and he was very professional from the start. I loved that he met with my husband and I face to face to go over everything, learn about us, the music we like, the visions we had, etc. And for areas that we didn't know what we wanted he threw in suggestions that were perfect. his knowledge of music is incredibly extensive, and he just seemed to read our minds on what we wanted. I cannot tell you how much stress time and energy I put into the songs for the ceremony and the timing, when I wanted things to start or end.... Yoshi absolutely nailed it and thinking back, I honestly don't even know what I was worried about. HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING!! I felt completely confident on our big day. Afterwards we received so many compliments!! He really read the crowd and played music that kept everyone going. Even his music choices for while guests were waiting for the ceremony to start was a huge hit, and guests said they were so entertained just waiting! Hire these guys, you won't be disappointed!!

We had our wedding at Jardin Del Sol in early August and Craig and his team at Bugsie Productions provide such excellent service and work with the top of the line equipment. To start, during the vetting and selection process, Craig was very responsive and timely to our inquiries. Craig was the first DJ we met and immediately surprised us with his presentation. Given his experience, he laid out a recommended timing of the wedding day, how he would help during the day off (mindful that we opted to not go with a day coordinator so having this helped us TREMENDOUSLY). We left the meeting feeling comfortable and confident that Craig and his team would be able to provide exceptional service and music that will get our guest up and dancing.   Fast forward to the day of, Craig did more than what we had asked for. We had provided him with our day of agenda ahead of time and he was on point with the timing, informed us when we were ahead and behind of schedule which helped alleviate a lot of the stress. His music was on point and got our guest up and dancing throughout the night. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.   Thank you, Craig, for helping make our wedding memorable to us and our guest!

We had DJ Yoshi at our wedding and he did an amazing job! We spoke to him a week or so before our wedding to make sure that we all were on the same page with all of our music selections and timings for everything. He not only kept to his cues, but he kept things going smoothly and made sure that everyone was having a great time. I would highly recommend Bugsie Productions for your wedding DJ needs.

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND HIRE BUGSIE PRODUCTIONS!!!! My husband and I have pretty specific music tastes, and knew that we placed the music selection above mostly everything else (yes, even the cake!) at our wedding. When I say that we are selective, I truly mean it: we like obscure electronic music! Many of our friends had offered to DJ for us, however our venue had a specific list of preferred vendors we were required to choose from so we were a little lost on where to begin. We contacted all of the DJs and quickly realized that DJ Bugsie Prod. was the most superior option. We expressed our need to make sure that our DJ would be able to seamlessly blend electronic (house, techno, trance, etc) with tried-and-true favorites (Prince, Michael Jackson, etc) for our guests to enjoy, and Craig, the owner of Bugsie was super accommodating to us about this concern. He recommended Shawn, and I am SO GLAD he did. Not only is Shawn a fantastic live performer, but he has a great attitude. We met with Shawn a few months before our wedding and discussed all of our favorite music and our vision for the wedding. We also discussed the timing of songs, and he gave us some great suggestions for our reception timing/releasing our tables for dinner. He sent us some preferred music forms for us to fill out, and we completed them about 3 months before our big day. Shawn was incredibly professional and easy to work with, and on top of that I consider him a friend now. He made the process so easy for us, and while so many people leave their music "up to chance" for their wedding except a few songs, Shawn truly embraced our preferences and learned how to mix everything for us to create a seamless experience. I will always, ALWAYS recommend Shawn and DJ Bugsie Productions for wedding music! Thank you again for making everything perfect for us!

We are so happy that we made the decision to hire Craig at Bugsie Productions. Craig and his colleagues are professional and knowledgeable and truly made all of the musical decisions that we made super easy! Craig was always available to help guide us as we made decisions and provided recommendations when we needed them. We also used the photo booth and uplighting that Bugsie offered. The lighting was perfect and our guests absolutely loved the photo booth! Craig helped us customize the printouts to match the feel of the wedding! All in all, we are so happy to have worked with Craig and his team and would highly recommend them!

Craig was absolutely amazing for our wedding. He was extremely professional in his approach and timely in his response. On our wedding day, he eased our way completely - the ceremony was perfect (he included a lapel mic, microphone and speakers for our guest to hear the vows and I Dos!) and the reception was a non stop dance party. My husband and I told Craig that we wanted a DJ who can read the crowd, adjust quickly and keep our guests on the dance floor- he exceeded all our expectations! I promise you will not be disappointed with Craig & Bugsie Productions!

Craig was great! We got married in WA but live in a different state so we weren't able to actually meet him in person until day of and after the wedding was already under way (tight schedule) but we had confidence everything would be fine because of his professionalism and all the planning calls we had in advance. He's very flexible and wonderful about working with your preferences. I'm very particular about my music and gave him a fairly detailed, long and eclectic list of the songs I wanted to hear. He did a good job of mixing my songs with those he knows the general crowd will enjoy. He was also very accommodating for the unusual wedding party entrance to the reception dinner my husband wanted. We had a friend doing the announcements and each bridal party 'set' entered to a different theme song played by Craig. It worked out fairly well. I also appreciated that he sent us the listing of the finalized playlist for the night afterwards so we could have a copy. My only complaint would be that the music could have been louder but that may have been a venue issue not a DJ issue. I would say if we need a DJ/MC for another event in the area, we'd reach out to Bugsie first.

Craig at Bugsie Productions did a phenomenal job at our wedding in June 2018. Craig was very well organized, including providing very detailed information to help our big day go smoothly. Craig even helped move the crowd from our cocktail hour to the reception venue so it did not delay our planned timeline. He was easy to work with and had excellent suggestions for music during our reception. He was flexible enough to help cut our first dance shorter once we realized how long it was! I am very pleased we hired Craig as he kept the dance floor going until the end of our event. Everyone had an excellent time thanks to Craig and I would highly recommend hiring Bugsie Productions for your event. I cannot say enough positive things about Bugsie Productions!

I would highly recommend DJ Craig and his team for your wedding!!!! I admit I was very worried about picking a DJ for our wedding, I had been to a few that didn't go so well. From the first time we met and talked about everything I was completely confident in my decision to go with them! Everything went smoothly and we had a ton of people tell us after the wedding how much they loved DJ Craig. I think he did an awesome job of playing the right kind of music for the crowd and was able to keep the party going!!! Thank you so much Craig!!!!

I knew from our first meeting that Craig was the right DJ for my wedding. He was enthusiastic, a great listener, and provided needed professional advise. Throughout the process he was easy to work with, responsive, and very flexible as I changed my mind on song choices a lot. Craig was phenomenal! From our very first meeting he made us feel comfortable and sane! We did not have a definite plan of how we wanted everything to flow and because of his experience, Craig was able to offer great suggestions. He listened to us with sincerity and understanding as we tried to make decisions about our big day. He used all the songs we suggested and added others that were a perfect fit. Craig worked closely with our officiant and our ceremony was exactly what I envisioned. The reception was great too! Craig really read our crowd and worked hard to get everyone to participate. Without hesitation, I would recommend Craig and his crew. Professional, caring and fun!

Had DJ Yoshi and he was great. We met with him on site a couple weeks before and went through everything and made sure everything would be in place for the wedding. We were very happy with his control of the event and keeping everything on track. He hit all of his cues exactly right and he definitely exceeded expectations. I highly recommend him .

Craig came highly recommended by someone in the entertainment business and we feel lucky to have found him! He’s the owner of the company and did a great job – a present MC but not too in your face. He has a great worksheet you fill out to give him all the information he needs. He worked on some song looping for the ceremony for us, as well as searched for and found a version of Hava Nagila for us that didn't sound ridiculously old fashioned - a feat! He was willing to work with our budget which was super important, and he gave a great personality to the evening.

My now husband and I met with a few DJs, and immediately after walking out of our first meeting with Craig, we new he was the best DJ for us. His friendly and open personality combined with his clear professionalism and experience completely sold us. We purchased the Diamond package and were so glad we did. Craig was super responsive and had great ideas. We found ourselves going down the rabbit hole of trying to pick every song we like to make sure they were played at the wedding, but at one of our next meetings with Craig, we scrapped all that (other than ceremony and first dance choices) and just selected DJs choice because we had complete confidence that he would play appropriate and crowd-pleasing music during each aspect of the wedding night. And it worked beautifully. Our crowd didn't hit the dance floor immediately, but Craig was able to read the room and eventually got everyone on their feet for the rest of the night... to the point that everyone was bummed when the dancing concluded. We also asked Craig to do a little editing of our first dance, Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance songs, since all the ones we picked felt way to long to be dancing with everyone staring at us awkwardly :-) His editing and quick turnaround time was very much appreciated. I convinced my husband to play "The Shoe Game" with Craig leading, and though he was reluctant, it ended up being on of the most fun, most talked about elements of the night. I'm still fielding requests for the list of questions that Craig asked us. Our wedding was amazing for so many reasons, but a big one was Craig and Bugsie Productions. We couldn't recommend him enough to anyone in need of a wedding DJ!!!

We LOVED having Craig from Bugsie Productions at our wedding! We were referred to Craig by a family friend and wedding planner, and we are so grateful for her recommendation. Craig was extremely professional and easy to work with. He had a lot of great ideas and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire planning process. Not having a ton of music knowledge ourselves, Craig just led the way. He did a fantastic job at the wedding and made the entire night seamless for us. They made our wedding day so amazing! Sean was so good on the microphone announcing throughout the event & asking trivia questions to dismiss the tables. Craig did the shoe game for us and we had so much fun. They're both great with speaking and really kept control of the event. The dance floor was packed all night and people of all ages were up dancing. The photo booth was also going non stop. The props were great and set up was amazing! Highly recommended

We had Shawn as a dj/mc at our wedding and he was FANTASTIC to say the least. He made everything go by smoothly and made suggestions I didn't think of that made our day even more special. The consultation with Shawn is what really sold us, he is professional, fun and vvveryvexperienchrecommendations. Craig the owner was great with communicating what package we needed and made it affordable for us. We would highly recommend Shawn to host any event because he was absolutely amazing.

Our original DJ had to cancel just 3 weeks before the wedding because of a family tragedy, and I contacted Bugsie in desperation and they replied right away and had somebody available! Our DJ was Yoshi, and before the wedding we met with him and Craig. The meeting was very productive, professional, and they were both very helpful in making sure that we got exactly what we wanted. They are very organized and help with the wedding day timeline. We had a wedding coordinator and they worked well with aligning their visions for the day. The wedding day was absolutely magical. Yoshi did a wonderful job with music and was helpful in making sure tables got dismissed in a timely and organized matter for the buffet dinner. The music was exactly what we wanted - but don't send too long of a list! - and our guests had a great time! Bugsie also provides lights, bringing a special element to the dance floor that made it even more exciting! My husband and I, as well as my mom who was a big part in planning the wedding, highly recommend Bugsie! I would definitely recommend them to anybody with an upcoming wedding or another event with a DJ. If you contact them and set up a meeting, you will be very impressed and they will help make your wedding day an absolute blast.

Craig was great! He was patient with us during our planning meeting when we were still figuring out what we wanted. The reception was amazing and the dance floor didn't stop until the night was over. I attempted to leave the dance floor several times but the music kept pulling me back.

If I could give Craig 10 stars I would. First off, he is just a super nice cool guy. Secondly, he is very accommodating, helpful and goes above and beyond to make you happy. Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, he will turn your wedding into an AWESOME PARTY! Craig was on point the whole day, and everything flowed seamlessly. He was a poise presence when he needed to be, but then let the party just flow. He hadn't been to our venue before, so he drove all the way out to Monroe to make sure he had a game plan and knew what to expect. I feel like choosing the right DJ is one of the most important decisions you will make in regards to wedding vendors. They set the tone and make your wedding either super fun or awkward and dull. It is hard to choose the right one unless you have seen them in action. Craig came HIGHLY recommended to me by a wedding planner and choosing to hire him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The dance floor was packed almost right away. I remember being exhausted from dancing so much and needing to take a break--but couldn't because each song was "the best song ever"! He really knows how to read a crowd. Over a month later, and I am still getting compliments on how fun the dance floor was and how awesome the playlist was. I could not recommend him more!

Craig was great! His transitions from the wedding to cocktails to dinner to the reception were seamless. He really knows how to keep things going and on track without being overbearing. He is humorous and fun! Couldn't have done a better job!

Craig was wonderful. He offered us helpful feedback on music as well as other aspects of the wedding events and flow for the day. He understood quickly what we liked and didn't like and thus easily picked great music for the whole day. His confidence and charm put us at ease quickly knowing our wedding was in good hands. We interviewed a few other DJ's and worried about their cheesiness and never for a minute worried about that with Craig.

Our wedding was such a perfect day, and I know that it wouldn't have been as fun without Bugsie. Before the wedding Craig was always available to meet with us when ever needed and had lots of great ideas and suggestions that made our wedding so much fun. The day of we had Dustin be our DJ, and he was amazing. He was a great MC and allowed us to really relax and have fun knowing that he was going to take care of everything! Anytime I needed something he was there and made sure that we were all having fun. I could not recommend a better company to be in charge of your big day!

Bugsie Productions did my Wedding February 4th, 2012. Craig did amazing! The music was wonderful and perfect all night. Craig also did very well orchestrating the venue and guiding the guests through our set list of events all through the night. Well worth every penny. Craig took the time to make our event very memorable and everything went so smooth. I would recommend Bugsie Production to all of my friends who are getting married or have any other special events that require his DJ expertise.

I am very pleased with the way Craig handled our wedding. I will choose him for any other event I need a DJ for and recommend him to anyone else who needs one. He was very cognizant of the overall setting and cross section of musical interests. We gave him a limited number of artist names and styles we were looking for and he filled the gaps perfectly! True ease of doing business and seamless performance. I asked for Classical Spanish style guitar during the dinner and cocktail hour. He threw together perfect compilation. Craig Slater was our wedding DJ/MC and he did a great job! We meant with him and spoke on the phone several times. It is obvious that he wants the bride and groom to have a wonderful wedding day and he really goes above and beyond to make sure they do. We used Bugsie Productions for our wedding, and they were great! Everyone was dancing all night and the DJ's knew exactly what to play next to keep the party going. I was completey happy and would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!!

Bugsie Productions is fantastic! They just provided services for the ceremony and reception at our wedding on the 10th of July. Things could have not gone any better than they did. We met with this company twice prior to the wedding and they had everything lined out exactly how it was going to go, which took a lot of pressure off of us. They showed up early on the day of, set up everything, and were very professional throughout the entire process. Craig with Bugsie could be one of the nicest people to work with there is! So down to earth and accomodating. A+

Craig Slater (owner) went above and beyond any expectation I ever would have had for a DJ. He was quick to respond to any email/calls with my questions. His price was reasonable and very average for the industry. He was very helpful in helping to pick song lists for the wedding as well. The day of... He did an amazing job making sure my order of events went as planned, it was so nice not to have to worry about the time or when to do the next thing because he was on top of it. He played a bride/groom trivia game with the guests during dinner which really helped entertain the guests that were waiting for their turn at the buffett table. He also was able to get my family and friends up and dancing. Amazing DJ! highly recommended.

Bugsie Prodections were amazing, really glad we went with them for the entertainment. Craig was great to work with before the wedding and Dustin the DJ was awesome! They really helped pick out the music and offered great suggestions. Dustin was wonderful! He played the music for the ceremony and reception and didn’t miss a beat. He kept the party flowing and was very aware of when to move on to the next activity. He did a great job giving warnings to the guests, example of time to refill your glass for the toasts. He also played a good selection of music to get everyone on the dance floor. Craig and Dustin were both very professional and I would hire them again for another event!
