About this vendor
Hey there.
My name is Joe, and I love getting to be a photographer.
I've been privileged to be chosen to document weddings and documentary projects around the world for over 13 years now.
I get to share in all of these rich experiences while documenting every detail. From the small details to the sharing of tears between the bride and her mom, the groom being embraced by his new family, or the reunion of friends who haven’t seen each other in years.
I’m an observer first, then a photographer.
I observe everything and photograph all those moments and events. From that, I craft a unique story from many different points of view and with earnest creative excellence. For me, one of the most important parts is sharing the day on a deep level with my clients. This is the crux of capturing a detailed and beautiful photo essay of two stories coming together.
I document everything with a photojournalistic approach and with strong, classically influenced portraiture to tell a complete story. I focus on the micro expression, but also the big details of time, place, and setting.
I stay far away from very posed images, but allow the portrait time of the day to be a free-flowing, enjoyable experience. My process for capturing portraits consists of gentle directing and conversation to make the experience comfortable, all the while making space for you and your partner to be comfortable enough to let those micro expressions show, and the love will read from the image stronger than anything.
My mission is to be a ready-to-help, positive force on the wedding day and provide you with images that you will cherish for the rest of your lives.
When you reach out, please include as many details about yourselves and your wedding plans. Really looking forward to connecting!

His photography speaks for itself, as two people not super comfortable with taking photos and posing, he met us exactly where we were and captured incredible photos that we are honored to hang on the walls of our home.
He captures the true love and feeling of the the joy on one of the best days of your life so perfectly. Our pictures from the dance floor are some of our favorites to reflect on because they just capture the happiness of our loved ones, which is really what it’s all about. His work helps us remember exactly how we felt that day and it’s a blessing to be able to reflect through pictures!
You will not regret working with Joe. He will bring even more joy to your day along with the most beautiful way to remember it. Could not recommend him enough!!

xtremely responsive, communicative, and very reasonably priced. He is an incredibly talented photographer and artist, and his mastery of the camera shines through in every one of his photographs. He captured our story so perfectly and elegantly, he is seriously gifted!! Our favorite aspect of Joe's style is his ability to capture the purest love between you and your partner, your loved ones, and friends; encapsulating your movements, thoughts, and feelings in a subtle and candid way. When we look back at the photos, we are instantly transported to the exact moment the photo was taken, which is just such a special keepsake and irreplaceable memory to have. In addition to capturing candid moments, Joe is equally talented with more formal poses and group photos. He knocked it out of the park and knew how to do so with no direction from us. We also had a blast having him at our event and taking photos with him. I just cannot say enough how thrilled we were to find him and how lucky we feel to have had him as our photographer. We highly recommend Joe and Bulger Creative Co. for your special event -- you will not be disappointed!

great to work with and his sessions are so natural. He captured our best moments and at no point made it awkward. Being from abroad and having a reception there as well as in America, he even made the trip oversees to be a part of our full journey. A photographer that is that dedicated to his clients and produces the incredible work he does makes for one of the best. I would and have recommended him to all of my friends that are getting married and for anyone considering - he's worth every penny! Incredible photographer and an even better person.
