Burdoc Farms is the 700 acre Shepherd family farm located in the rolling hills of Western Kentucky. With over 2 wedding venues to chose from, whether you like a rustic barn venue or a modern industrial venue, you dream wedding will be realized at Burdoc Farms.
The wedding business was started in 2012 with the conversion of the equipment barn, now known as The Chapel Barn. Then the rehabilitation of the The Tobacco Barn followed. The Shepherd family painstakingly rehabbed and recycled all materials in both barns to enhance and preserve the authenticity of the buildings.
Keith Glen, the newest venue, was built in 2016. This venue has a glass wall, stone fireplace and wood features that add to its uniqueness. Keith Glen is a year round facility that sits in the woods, facing a pond.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Burdoc Farms! The team went above and beyond to make everything seamless, stress-free, and truly unforgettable.
Sara and her staff were incredibly accommodating, every request we had was met. They were attentive and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.
The Keith Glen venue itself was absolutely stunning. We wanted to find a venue that felt like we were outdoors and in nature, but would still be able to accommodate weather issues. Every corner of the venue- from the ceremony space outside, to the large windows overlooking the pond- to the intimate walk in the tree and string lights offered a gorgeous setting. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was!

Our wedding at this venue was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we first visited, we knew this was the place we wanted to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives. The property itself is absolutely stunning. Every corner feels intentional, elegant, and full of character. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how seamlessly everything flowed throughout the day.
The owner was truly a dream to work with. She went above and beyond in every possible way to make our experience stress-free and memorable. She answered every question I had (even late at night) with kindness and patience. She even blocked off the Airbnb on the property for us so that we could stay close, which made everything so much more convenient since we live over an hour away. On top of that, she graciously gave us a later checkout, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
In the months leading up to the wedding, she let us come out multiple times to walk the property, take pictures, move tables, and brainstorm layout ideas. That level of flexibility and support made such a difference.. it felt like she genuinely cared about helping us create our dream day, not just another event on her calendar.
The day of the wedding went flawlessly. The staff was incredible. They were so professional, friendly, and so attentive. The bartenders especially deserve recognition; they were personable, quick, and made amazing drinks that our guests are still raving about. Every detail came together beautifully, and we never once felt rushed or stressed.
It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for this experience. This venue didn’t just give us a space.. it gave us memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. I would recommend it a thousand times over to any couple looking for a venue that’s not only gorgeous, but run by people who truly care about making your day as special as possible.

We recently had our wedding at Burdoc Farms in Crofton, KY, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning — from the rolling hills and wooded ceremony spots to the beautifully designed indoor spaces like Keith Glen with its floor-to-ceiling windows and cozy fireplace. This place is absolutely stunning Sarah the owner would always get back with us in a timely manner and make sure we had everything we needed along with the staff that helped clean up and they were very kind and sweet. Helful staff, friendly owner and BEAUTIFUL scenery!
I had my wedding here April 26, 2025. The farm is absolutely beautiful. Sara (the owner) was very nice, straight forward, and easy to work with.
There are two venues on the farm. I picked the Tobacco Barn, but the Keith Glen is breathtaking taking. I just didn’t think it would be big enough. Also, with my wedding in April, the ceremony barn was the better option so I had a roof in case of rain.
The farm books weddings at both venues for the same day. Sara allows you to take pictures wherever you want on the property. Luckily, there was no other wedding happening the same day, so I didn’t have to worry about photography conflicts.
I gave 4 stars only because you have to pay to stay the night in the bridal suite on the property. The cabin (bridal suite) is and air bnb. However, Sara blocks off the weekend, so no one can book it the whole weekend of your wedding. It says it is $200 a night, but after fees, taxes, and damage protection, just one night to stay in the suite the night before my wedding was nearly $400. If I did not live an hour from the venue I wouldn’t have done it, but I definitely would have forgot something if I had to pack up and transport everything the day of my wedding.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Burdoc Farms. Sarah was extremely straight forward and kind throughout the whole process. We loved the location and the Keith Glen venue itself. Everything was as we'd hoped it would be despite the rain our whole wedding day. The venue did not struggle to shine the entire tie.
My only complaint is that the venue could use some standard care. There are many bulbs out in the string lights, bugs constantly all over the floor, and many pieces of broken furniture.

We got married at the Keith Glen venue and it was a beautiful experience in every sense of the word. The Fall colors were present but not overwhelming and the gorgeous backdrops did not overpower any of our primary decor or the central themes of our celebrations. It was the perfect venue.
Our venue rep, Sara Shepherd, did not fail to match the venue's brilliance either. Finalizing our date was a breeze, requesting tours was not a problem at all (yes, we had more than one repeat visit leading up to the big day), and Sara was always responsive to our texts, no matter what time of day it was or what she may have had going on. My wife and I felt seen and heard and taken care of throughout the whole process.
We had an Indian pre-wedding ceremony the day before the big day, which turned out perfectly in the outdoor part of the venue while the actual wedding was held indoors. Sara was also generous enough to let us use the Tobacco Barn's stunning overlook for bride+groom photos since it wasn't reserved for anything on the day.
On top of all that, the price was reasonable and the process of paying Sara was also a breeze. Highly recommend Burdoc Farms for your special day, whether you're looking to get married in a rustic barn or a more classically modern structure!

Wedding planner here! I absolutely love Burdoc. Not only do they have an amazing ceremony space, but they also INCLUDE wood farmhouse tables and beautiful chairs! At any other venue, I would have to rent those separately. I love the bride and grooms suite, as well as the loft area for a little privacy for my couples. The fireplace makes a beautiful centerpiece to the room. I always enjoy working at Burdoc!!!

The most beautiful venue! The staff that worked my wedding where so nice. Sara is so cool and so nice. She explained everything and answered all my questions. Sara was awesome, very helpful in finding vendors and very clear about all the details of the venue. I had 0 questions leaving! Great communication and super kind. The venue itself was gorgeous, the bartenders were super nice and so much fun. Easy to clean up and easy to accommodate all of our guests. I will forever remember my big day and this venue really made it so special for us. A lot of our guests had never been there and they could not stop raving about it, we even had people talking about wanting the same venue for their special day. Highly recommend using Burdoc Farms and 10/10 loved the barn!!!

Beautiful farm! Sarah is wonderful to work with. My daughter chose to have her reception in the tobacco barn and it is gorgeous!! My only complaints would be that it needed some TLC, a little upkeep, just little things, no major problems. Very accommodating, easy to work with, so friendly. Definately recommending to friends! It was a perfect, magical day!

Our wedding at the Keith Glenn venue on the farm was so beautiful! It was a perfect day made all the better by gorgeous trees, wildflowers, and the natural rustic beauty of the site. All the features were beautiful and the amenities inside were both practical and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was amazing! Everyone is friendly and attentive. The owner, Sara, was one of the main reasons we went with this venue. She is incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. Most of the compliments we received on our day was about how incredible the venue was. So grateful we were able to have our special day here!

Sarah and her vendors did an amazing job. We did the micro, All-inclusive and it could not have been any more perfect. They took care of everything but in the right way! My vendors were fabulous- from gorgeous flowers to precious pictures to delicious food to a DJ who pumped up the reception! Burdoc Farms is exquisitely elegant and the perfect wedding planners. Need any measurements on anything , or questions on how to set up, Sara, the owner, answered absolutely every single question I had !!! I love that they offer a variety of wedding packages to accommodate any wedding size and budget. We decided to go with their all inclusive wedding package. Sarah was just so helpful and sweet during the countless times I needed to come out to measure tables and show the venue to my husband's parents before the wedding. The day of, we had a couple of items needing attention and Sarah had her team out there in less than 30min to fix them fully. This was the first venue we toured for our out-of-town wedding (we are from Chicago) - and the ONLY venue we NEEDED to tour... My now husband told me we couldn't cancel the tour to the other venue we had lined up that day, but honestly my mind was made when we met Sara and saw the Keith Glen venue @ Burdoc Farms. I told Sara that we were SOLD and sealed the deal that afternoon!! Sara was immediately so welcoming and to the point with all that she had to offer. She felt like family and we knew we could trust her and her staff to make our wedding the best day of our lives. It was a lovely getaway for us, and our guests were absolutely blown by how darling everything turned out. Our signature drinks were delicious and Sara has so many recommendations for wonderful vendors, which we actually picked our caterer from.

This venue is absolutely breathtaking. My daughter’s wedding was everything she had hoped for and more at Burdoc Farms. Sara was always prompt at responding to my questions and eager to help with anything I threw at her - even taking measurements of her mantle at 10 pm. Starting from the get go before even fully deciding on using the venue Sara gave us a folder full of incredibly useful information and recommendations. The price of the venue on either site was perfect for our budget (we got married on a Thursday at the chapel/tobacco barn and that all worked out amazingly!) and not only did the venue/area meet the vision we had but in combination with what we added for decor (which honestly wasn’t much) it was BEYOND perfect! Such a beautiful day, amazing sunset for photos over the overlook, and such an overall beautiful wedding day and not just because of the weather. Sara and her staff were amazing through it all and willingly answered all of our million questions whenever we had them! Such a beautiful family and venue to work with, we could not have been more happy or recommend burdoc farms more! (Thank you again Sara!)

My daughter got engaged in December of 2019. We started the wedding planning after the new year and looked at several venues. Upon arriving at Burdoc Farms, my daughter and her fiancé immediately fell in love with the Keith Glenn building, so we booked it. Fast forward to August of this year. Their wedding was absolutely perfect. The owner and staff were great to work with and were very accommodating. After returning from their honeymoon, I asked my daughter and new son-in-law if their wedding was everything they hoped it would be and their response was, “Yes, and much more!” Thank you Burdoc Farms for making my daughter’s wedding day a dream come true.

We visited many venues in Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky and knew the minute we were on this beautiful property that Burdoc Farms was the only choice for our daughter’s wedding. From our initial visit to the end of the celebration, Ms Sara and her staff were welcoming, helpful, encouraging and always professional. We had the difficult situation of postponement due to the pandemic. Ms Sara immediately offered options and made it possible to reschedule. The wedding planner was responsive to our questions and guided us step by step through the process. The Keith Glenn was the perfect venue accommodating the rehearsal dinner, bridal and groomsmen dressing room needs, guests and overall functional facility layout. We elected the all inclusive, which helped minimize the task of selecting experienced and reliable vendors. The camper for pictures was enjoyed by the guests. I highly recommend Burdoc Farms for any event and have absolutely no regrets or complaint. Sara was incredible to work with. Since we were planning our wedding on our own, we were going into it not knowing much at all. She answered every question we had, and then some. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. The Keith Glen building was the perfect hybrid of indoors and outdoors, the wall of windows is absolutely stunning. We didn't have to worry if it would be rainy on our wedding day, which was a relief because it poured the whole day! I couldn't recommend this venue enough. Pictures do not do it justice! Burdoc Farms is a wonderful venue! We got married in the Keith Glen barn, in front of the beautiful floor-to -ceiling window. The venue owner, Sara, was friendly and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for our big day! She, along with our other wonderful vendors, were very accommodating, as we had to postpone our wedding by an entire year due to Covid-19 related complications. The Keith Glen site had everything we could have possibly needed, including a catering kitchen, a bar, and spacious and attractive getting ready rooms. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to (finally) have our wedding :)

We had our wedding at Burdoc Farms this March and it was beyond amazing. I couldn't have dreamed a better venue and knew as soon as I saw pictures that it was the one. Sara booked us in right away for a tour and was incredibly helpful. She provided us with booklets and checklist to keep us on track. Answered every silly question I had before the wedding and always calmed my stressing.
I loved that I could do my ceremony, pictures, and reception all at the same location. The area is beautiful and you will get amazing pictures.
We were also able to have our dog there as a ring bearer, something very important to us that other venues didn't allow. I loved that I could have him there on our special day.

Burdoc farms was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We opted for the micro wedding and chose to have our wedding at the Keith Glenn site, although all the options would have been equally perfect. Sarah met with us and we explained our vision and she took care of the rest. When I say, she took care of the rest, I literally mean everything. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything was setup and included in the package. The micro wedding comes with everything; venue, bridal suite, DJ, flowers, catering, every aspect of what you see in lavish weddings but you don’t have to spend hours meeting and planning and organizing because you tell Sarah what you want and it magically happens. Our night was seamless. Our 30 guests were blown away at the experience and my husband and I were able to focus just on us and our guests. It was truly the wedding of our dreams.

I absolutely loved getting married at Burdoc Farms. We got married in the barns in October and it was perfect! I had always envisioned getting married in a barn and thankful for Burdoc I was able to do that.
There are two barns and it was so nice to have a separate barn for the reception. Plus, the reception barn is GORGEOUS!
The owner was super friendly and answer all my questions I had up to the day before the wedding. She was there to help in anyway she could and was perfect to work with! When I started looking at venues I knew Burdoc was the one before even leaving and because of the owner and the barns my wedding day was perfect! I couldn’t thank Sara at Burdoc Farms enough for everything she did!
Everyone should definitely go look at her venue, I promise you won’t regret it! If you don’t like barns she has another place there that is just as perfect! I promise it’s worth it all!

My husband and I got married here back in July and it was perfect! With the COVID situation going on right now we had to reschedule our date from the original one for back in May. Sara at Burdoc was so helpful to work with to get everything rearranged to make sure that it wouldn’t interfere with our big day. The rustic feel of the Chapel and Tobacco barn was the perfect for my husband and I. We loved the way everything turned out with our simple decorations and everything that was proved to help us decorate. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who asks or is searching for an outdoor wedding!

What a magical place for your magical day. The couple that owns the farm is amazing and so helpful. They really let you take the space and make it everything you ever wanted. Their staff is the best of the best and really knows how to make one feel special. From when you start your day to packing up to go away, you have amazing space to prep and execute your perfect day. I could not be more pleased with this place, except I am. The views that naturally come with the venue are stunningly breath taking. Our photographer was able to capture the beauty of us and our the magic of our venue. If you need a stunning photographer, Meghann Amber Artz (you can find her on facebook) is your girl! She’ll have you laughing and smiling all day. She’s been working out at Burdoc for years. She really knows the grounds and knows how to make your day special.
