Elyse was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding. She went above and beyond on every level. The wedding day went better than we could’ve ever even imagined. On the day I didn’t have to think about anything except to follow what Elyse told me to do! It was so smooth and she handled everything. I’m making it sound like I’m easy going but I’m not at all. I am super detail oriented and need everything to be perfect. And it was! There were so many things that could’ve gone awry but somehow Elyse smoothed over everything and all we had to do was enjoy and celebrate our day. It was because of Elyse we were able to be present and enjoy our wedding. Elyse was so calm and pleasant and helpful and encouraging throughout the whole process. She helped us so much during the planning process. I can not recommend her enough!! If you are in the Los Angeles area and planning your wedding you must hire Elyse!

My wedding was on October 19, 2019. Initially I had wanted to plan my entire wedding from start to finish but as i started planning in August of 2018 i quickly realized I wouldn't be able to handle any of the coordination for the day OF the wedding. So i started looking for a day of coordinator. I came across day of planners that were quoting me prices from $1800 - $4000 for day of coordination services. In my search I stumbled across Burd's Eye Events in February of 2019. I emailed requesting a quote for day of coordination services., I received a response pretty quickly as well, Elyse, their lead event planner reached out to me and answered all my questions. Her price for what I was looking for was AMAZING. So amazing that I was a little skeptical at first, so I did my research, I went to their website and looked through their portfolio. First impressions are important, and their website immediately assuaged many of my concerns, the site was professional, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to navigate. Once I decided to move forward with Burd's Eye Events I emailed Elyse back and let her know that I wanted to book them for my big day. Day of coordination services included an initial consultation where she met me and my partner, brought us both individual folders that had an example time line (which was SO helpful because I had no idea how to lay out my day), a to-do list, and a vendor contact list, because I was opting to do most of the planning on my own she wanted me to write down the vendors as I hired them with their contact info so that she'd have it day of. I was told I could have unlimited email correspondence with Elyse regarding my wedding, and I definitely utilized that. I had so many questions and concerns and the closer my big day got the more frantic my emails to Burd's Eye Events, and each time I was met with a calm, professional, reassuring response from Elyse. About a month before my wedding we met in person again to go over final details. She got a final timeline together for us, made sure she was in touch with all our vendors, and reassured me that the day of the wedding she would be there from setup all the way through to take down and cleanup of the event. The big day came and I was a bundle of nerves, Elyse made a special stop at the hotel to check in on us to make sure hair and make-up was on schedule and to see if we needed anything prior to the ceremony, I wasn't expecting that, but I sure did appreciate it. When we got to the venue for photos she had my bouquet ran down to me since i didn't have time to meet with the florist. Basically, everything went off without missing a beat. It was perfect, she was punctual, helpful, more than I could have hoped for, and true to her word, she was there until the very last person left making sure the venue was cleaned and all our items were packed up for us. All of my guests were raving about her, they said she was helpful, friendly, efficient. I would definitely recommend Burd's Eye Event's and Elyse to anyone looking for the perfect event planner.

I am so happy I chose Elyse and her team to help plan our wedding this past summer. We used her for the tier 3 level wedding planning services, and that was the best decision we made. She and her team are organized , professional, and fun to work with! After working with them for weeks on our wedding, I truly feel like we have become friends! Elyse and her team broke down each component of the wedding planning process so that we could focus on the components that were most important to us, which were that our family and friends had a memorable and meaningful time sharing our special day. Elyse helped us choose vendors that fit our tastes and vision for the wedding, and communicated with each vendor so that our actual wedding day was seamless. Her attention to detail was outstanding, as she remembered which guests had certain food allergies, and family members who needed special assistance arriving to our venue. Elyse and her team were always responsive to our questions and needs, and I would 100% choose her team again, and recommend them to all of my family members and friends!

I used Burds Eye Events for my wedding in fall of 2016. I was blown away by the level of detail that was given by my coordination team. You think little details that you tell them months ago will be forgotten but truthfully they missed nothing. Every picture frame was hung exactly where I Pictured it and the centerpieces that they assembled came out better than I imagined. Bottom line my wedding was complete because of the hard work put in by my wedding coordinators. Best vendor hire to this day! You guys are truly one of a kind, thank you so much for everything!!

I hired Burd's Eye Events for planning and day of coordinating of my wedding this past summer and it was the best decision I could have made. Having Elyse and her team there to guide us through the planning process made the wedding and everything leading up to it seamless, and even better than I imagined it could be. Elyse is highly organized, detail-oriented, has impeccable follow-through, and maintained excellent communication from start to finish. When it came to planning, we had some ideas for what we wanted our wedding to be like, and Elyse was able to distill our somewhat amorphous ideas into a unified vision that was perfect for us. She offered creative ideas for everything from the catering and floral arrangements to details like the seating chart, place cards, and table settings. Beyond all of the design help that made for a gorgeous and original look, she saw to every nitty gritty/logistical/behind the scenes detail that needed to be taken care of, too. It all came together to make our wedding a beautiful, one-of-a-kind event that reflected us in personal way. All that while staying within our budget! Even when there were a lot of decisions to make and things could easily have become overwhelming, Elyse was reassuring, always collected and kept things light with her sense of humor. I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of the wedding, as Elyse ran the show flawlessly. She had coordinated with the vendors so impeccably- everything was on time and in place. Knowing that everything and everyone was taken care of was an absolute gift that let us enjoy the day with our friends and family. When my daughter announced she was getting married, I was extremely happy, then the thoughts of how would I plan the wedding of her dreams overtook me.
