songs we asked for were played and Gene did a great job engaging the crowd! Gene took special care to make it possible to play a recording from my Grandpa who is no longer with us. He created a copy so he could play it for us. This was above and beyond to give us something special. The ceremony music was perfect and our entry and cake songs were perfectly cut so we walked in and cut the cake to certain areas of songs. The edits felt natural and accomplished exactly the aesthetic we wanted. The planning process to ensure we had the correct timeline was an extra that helped me plan and understand how the flow of the day would go. Burning River knows weddings, they know crowds and they are superb at reading the room to make people stay on their feet with smiles on their faces!

He worked with us closely to provide his recommendations on the quantities, and we were really pleased with how it turned out. Gene was also really great as a DJ. Prior to the wedding, he had a very organized form to pick out all the important songs of the night as well as must plays and do not plays. He was a huge support in helping us finalize our timeline of the reception. At the wedding, Gene was energetic and really helped facilitate the flow of the events. We had things like a photo dash where he did a great job of explaining for the guests. He had set up sound in two locations of the venue, so speeches were heard clearly for everyone. He really nailed the vibe of the party and we had a packed dance floor all night! I was shocked by how many people we had dancing and it was such a fun time. I highly recommend booking them!

I was a COVID bride and had to postpone my wedding in 2020, and Gene Natale was by far the easiest and most understanding vendor to work with during the pandemic planning. He was always positive, and supportive and was super flexible. Fast forward to 2021 when we had our celebration- he was incredible. He added string lights as per a last minute request at Mapleside Farms and took care of all the coordination with the. venue. He helped set up our ceremony guitarist and worked till 1:30 am taking things down at the wedding. Besides that, he was an amazing DJ and had something for every guest, and we had a group with a bunch of different taste. BRE brought so much fun to our wedding and was able to read the crowd and create the perfect vibe for our wedding. I would recommend anyone to use them and can't thank them enough for helping making our day so fun and so special, and especially for helping reduce stress! You won't regret booking BRE!

Gene provided the ceremony music for the outdoor wedding at the Hanna Mansion Courtyard at the Cleveland History Center. (Western Reserve Historical Society) Then this year we had a reception at the Crawford Auto Museum. Burning River Entertainment provided a screen and projector so we could show a video of last year's wedding to those who couldn't be there last year. Gene was a great DJ! He was dancing and had everyone involved. Everyone said they loved the music, DJ and dancing. I would definitely use BRE again!

He also swapped out our regular photo booth for an open air one to make us, as the bride and groom, and our guests comfortable - it was a hit! I wish I could rate Burning River Entertainment more than 5 stars. You will not find a more energetic or fun DJ as Gene! Also - any DJ that listens to the bride cry their eyes out, after a few drinks, at the end of the night because they’re so grateful and relieved that they were able to have their wedding, is a keeper ;)

Mike and I have been married for a little over a month now (Nov 2, 2019) and our guests are still raving about their time on the dance floor, even the best man who NEVER dances, said this was the most he’s ever danced in his life! ry excited. The month of our wedding while we were planning with Gene, we learned that he was not actually our DJ but rather Brandon would be. While I understand that things change, it was very frustrating to learn this so late in the game especially since we have never met or communicated with Brandon. Not much was done to rectify the situation. At the actual wedding, most everything went OK. We did have issues with the microphone during speeches. Our "must play" songs were played back to back as soon as the dancefloor opened which was annoying. We explicitly asked for no line dances and yet the Macrarena came on.. None of these situations ruined a day but definitely missed expectations.

He also brought along a break dancer which was a huge hit! The dance floor lighting was awesome! We heard over and over again that it was the best dance party they’ve been to at a wedding. And that says a lot since our venue was indoor/outdoor the whole night with beautiful gardens and cool lighting installations at night, yet the majority still danced the night away. We also used them for our photobooth which came with a custom monogram at the bottom of the photo strips and a photo album of all photos taken in the booth. Great deal and package!! I can’t say enough about how Gene helped make our night the most memorable!!

We had so many compliments on how great the MC/DJ was and they always knew how to keep the party going! e reached out to the company on their website to check availability. Almost immediately, the owner, Gene, contacted us to set up a planning meeting. Gene explained all of the products BRE offers and how the pricing and packages are structured. He provided photo and video examples of DJ setups and outdoor lighting designs for our outdoor tent wedding. Since our venue was a complete DIY location, Gene helped create a custom package for us that included string light installation in our tent and both a DJ and MC/dancer for the reception. Our DJ, Nate was incredible. He kept our guests on the dance floor from the second it opened until the very end of the reception (including multiple “last songs”). James “Showtime” was our MC. He took the time to make sure he knew how to pronounce everyone’s name correctly in the wedding party for all of the announcements, and he kept everything on time according to the schedule we had developed with Gene at our planning meeting. Showtime is a professional dancer and he made all of our guests feel comfortable busting a move. He danced with guests of all ages and brought out the confidence in everyone. At the end of the night, the dance floor was still packed and no one was ready to go home. Since our wedding, we have been told countless times that it was the best entertainment people have ever seen at a wedding. I would recommend BRE to anyone, anywhere, because BRE is willing to travel and work reasonably with your budget.

We met with him about a year before a little over year before our wedding and ever since then we been going back-and-forth talking about all the cool things that we wanted to do he nailed it. from our experience with Eli. First, when we were discussing the entrances, my Wife and I hit a bit of a roadblock. My dad passed away when I was younger and we weren't sure how to handle the parents' entrance. Eli and I discussed this, at length, and without getting personal, it's obvious he truly cared and gave us some great advice and direction on how to handle this. What he helped us come up with was great and meant a lot to us and our family. Second, the job he and his group did at our wedding was outstanding. They were incredibly accommodating, professional and polite. The energy was great and I can't remember how many of our guests mentioned how awesome Eli and his partner (Who is also a hell of a break dancer) were. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention our "do not play" list. I hate the Dave Matthews Band, among others, and he was at the top of this list. My friends offered Eli at least $200 cash (Several times) to play ONE Dave Matthews song and he turned it down. The point is, they made it truly about us and helped make our wedding great.
