Burritt on the Mountain was an incredible venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The fall foliage was beautiful and we felt really lucky to have gotten the venue at that time of year. Noel and her team are experts and were always quick with a vendor recommendation or a reply to any question. They also helped coordinate all the vendor setup so we didn’t have to get there early and worry about that. We got married at The View overlook and it was absolutely breathtaking. Our reception was in the Baron Bluff building, which was also very nice and offered lots of wide open space to have plenty of room for everything. We can’t imagine having done this anywhere else. It was perfect. If you’re thinking about getting married there – DO IT!
The most wonderful venue! The staff and director were the absolute best to work with and I could not have had a better wedding day! From the moment we met with the director of Burritt, to the moment we saw everything come together, it was a dream come true!
I must say my wedding was beyond amazing! Thank you Noel for your knowledge of this awesome venue! I could renew my vows every year because of the way the staff does business. Once again, John and I thank you all so much!!
stunning!!!!
Burritt on the Mountain is the most beautiful place to get married. I could not have asked for a more perfect site! Noel and her staff have it down to an art. We had a chance of bad weather and when we arrived that morning, the staff had arranged chairs outside as well as inside for our backup rain plan. Sometimes scheduling visits is difficult due to their hours of operation, but someone is always willing to e-mail or talk to you on the phone. The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't have the rehearsal dinner there without paying an entire $2900 rental fee. We were able to rehearse, but it would have been nice to be able to use the space for dinner as well. However, I would highly recommend having any event at this venue!
they worked with us every step of the way and were very accommodating! they always responded to my emails immediately and helped with suggestions!
I had never imagined that our wedding day would turn out as amazing as it did! Burritt was such a beautiful location. The grounds are so well kept! Everything was clean and the kitchen is excellent for any caterer's need. Noel was great to work with. We are so happy we had our wedding at Burritt! Thank you for keeping this place so beautiful!
Burritt on the Mountain was a wonderful place to have our wedding reception. Everyone we worked with before the wedding was super friendly and helpful - very accommodating. The view from the mountain is breath-taking, and we especially liked that you can see the space rocket from the mountain. There is a wide variety of areas where we were free to take our pictures, including an old chapel, a big mansion, a little barn area with live animals, and lots of greenery. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day, so our guests didn't get to enjoy the view, but the Baron Bluff reception hall is beautiful in itself. It is fairly new, so everything is clean and nice, but it was built to look classic. The hall is a very large space that nicely fit our guests (who thought it was beautiful), and it has one of the nicest kitchens in town for the caterer. We felt like we found gold with this reception site.
Great place. Staff is very helpful and friendly :)
This venue, especially the new Baron Bluff is gorgeous and the view over Huntsville is breathtaking. Only downside is having to buy beer/wine from the venue and they priced it quite high.
My fiancee and I fell in love with Burritt on the Mountain because of the beautiful view overlooking Huntsville. The scene is absolutely breathtaking, and the new building they've built for receptions is not far behind.
The only issue is, the staff at Burrit knows they have a one-of-a-kind venue, and aren't afraid to let you know about it. On more than one occassion, we received less than enthusiastic service because they didn't have to be nice to us- if we didn't want to have our wedding there, I'm sure there would have been people lined up at the door to take our spot.
When everything came down to it, we ended up having a beautiful wedding. Even though it rained the morning of our wedding, it cleared up enough on the mountain that we had a beautiful mist surrounding everything, and it truly felt like a dream. If we had it to do over again, we agree we would still get married at Burritt, even though the staff can be a little off-putting at times.
it was a nice place but didnt whole to many people and you had to use catered food and i wanted a place where i could use family and friends to my it feel like a real family wedding
I loved the mansion and the view overlooking the city. Since there was construction (finishing around November 2012) I also got a discounted rate. Noel Saunders is the lady in charge and is very organized and knowledgeable. She definitely has favorite vendors and may be a little short if you start off with one of her friends then choose someone else.
The main drawback is that you must buy your beer and wine (NO liquor) through Burritt. Their prices are much higher than what you could buy a case for in Sams or Costco - case of bud light cost $35 but you could buy it in store for around $20. Same goes for bottles of wine. They also provide bartenders which are $50/hour.
The staff was amazing and helpful. They helped me out every step of the way. I loved the location it was beautiful and so did our friends and family. We really enjoyed everything, it was perfect.
The Burritt on the Mountain has so many beautiful options for a wedding and reception. The coordinator there, Noel, is wonderful to work with and so easy. She is most concerned with her client's happiness and big day, and with keeping the venue a great place for all customers!
