we began talking to Ethan and Bethany things started to fall into place. The husband and wife team understood that we wanted our day to be unique and not the typical wedding that we had been to year after year. They were supportive of us and made us feel like we could count on them to be there for us and only us. E & B are huge proponents of marriage and in meeting them to talk before taking photos this is clear. They are so easy to talk to and get along with. We had a great time at our engagement session, talked for a long time over coffee and then took some beautiful engagement photos that we got so many compliments on and love looking at. They work together so well giving us ideas of how to stand but also captured us just being ourselves. We trusted them after finding out that B was pregnant and then after she was unable to be at our wedding. We obviously were sad but had an odd sense of peace that it would all be fine. She was still involved in helping us build a day of schedule and was available to reassure us. On the day of our wedding Ethan brought one of their fellow photographer friends who got along with us great. The pictures went so easily and quickly. We look forward to seeing our beautiful wedding photos and creating a great book with them. We fully recommend the Burtco team.

ut our love story and what we all thought the day should capture and mean. I left Bethany in charge of some flowers, Mini-reception, and all around coordination. There is no one else I would rather intrust that with. She took to heart everything I wanted, and made it even better. Our day was simply magical. Not to mention the gorgeous shots!

on events. It takes a lot to impress me and they totally did. They are prompt, kind supportive and they GET IT. Most importantly, they listen. During our engagement session we spent the entire day with them- not just getting our photos taken which was honestly a small portion of our day- we met them and had coffee and then followed our session with dinner. They wanted to get to know us truly so they could capture "us." When we got our engagement pictures back I cried at how much they embodied our love, our relationship and what we wanted. I am positive they captured this specifically because of their process in getting to know their couples and also their deep love for each other. They are romantics themselves and it shows in their personalities and dannnng does it show in their work. On the wedding day they paid attention to what was important to us and didn't get lost in their own plan- they focused on what we wanted and needed. When we were booking them we paid for a smaller amount of time than their regular packages and that is my biggest regret. If I could go back I would of planned to have them around the maximum amount of time not only for more photos but just because of their energy addition to the day.

rsonally, I was super nervous to have my picture taken professionally, but after just a few minutes of being in front of their cameras, I felt at ease. Our pictures turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier. It was great to have Bethany with me and the girls and Ethan with the guys to capture everything behind the scenes on our big day. Many of our friends have even used them since our wedding! We will definitely use Burt.co for all of our future photo needs throughout life's stages.

Ethan is one of the most caring people I've come across. Not only were they our photographers, but hthey took the time to sit down with us and talk about marriage and life. They captured the day as it was without forcing anything or making us feel uncomfortable. The next day, they rode around with us in the Smokey Mountains, hiked with us, laughed with us, and shared another meal (and coffee, of course!). We started the week off as their clients and left as dear friends. Picking wedding photographers isn't as simple as picking someone who can take pictures. For us, their presence became one of our favorite parts of our day. They have photographed 100s of weddings and we used their expertise as much as we could. As a nervous groom, Ethan's candid and confident demeanor became imperative as the day went on. Bethany's expressive and affectionate attitude lightened the mood and helped us remember what the goal was. Bethany and Ethan did more than I expected out of a photographer, like attending our rehearsal and helping with getting people where they needed to go, ensuring we had everything moving smooth on the wedding day, keeping a smile on their face and telling you your beautiful and everything in perfect, etc. I was just so impressed and wasn't worried about a thing on the wedding day because have meeting them several times before, I knew they knew exactly what they were doing and I had no doubt our photos would be amazing. Not only do they create the most incredible swoon-worthy photos - they go so far above and beyond by taking the time to really get to know the bride & groom. Our Engagement Session was more of a hang out session with a camera in the mix. They came to our rehearsal dinner - not as photographers - but as friends. They met and mingled with our families and friends to make our wedding day so special and personal. They brought life to my ideas for special photos I wanted to create for our New Years Eve wedding. Sweet Bethany even grabbed & delivered our forgotten glasses of champagne for our toasts. (She doesn't miss a beat!) Honestly, I can't say enough great things about these two. I couldn't have asked for anything more when it comes to our experience with the Burts. And best of all - our photos were even more beautiful than I imagined. These two really DO love each other intensely and know just how to showcase the love on your special day. 5 stars and then some for these two!

They invited us to their home to talk about logistics then made us dinner and we literally talked the night away! They love getting to know their couples! They turn out to become life long friends!
